I don't know what everyone else is talking about, but I think this food was amazing! Came here on a family trip and it was very welcoming. The seats are NOT torn up, and are in fact quite clean. The service was very attentive and continued to make sure we were well off. It did take a little long for our food to come out, but for a family of 8, it was pretty quick and it all came out at the same time. Thankful to have the opportunity to eat here. My husband and I ate there yesterday. The wait time for our order was too long for the amount of people in the restaurant. Only 7 tables/ booths with most having two people at them. My hash browns were undercooked, crunchy in fact. I only ate the browned top part. Our server told my husband his toast was down and she would bring it out asap. She DID NOT. My husband flagged another server passing by and she brought his toast. It was dripping with melted butter. Our server did not come back ever to ask about our food or refill our tea. She only came back with the bill. No one seemed to be very attentive to their tables. I waited tables for years and service sure isn't what it used to be. We stopped in for dinner as we were traveling. I've eaten at alot of Denny's. This was one of the best. Our waiter Joe was great. Very nice and accommodating. Great service. Clean restaurant. I love Dennys breakfast, it's my favorite spot in town for it. My favorite waitress is Lacye. She is always smiling and always so helpful.

The food was very cold and not good. They served us very dirty forks and knifes that we couldn't even use. And there was people yelling.

We have had only breakfast at this location, and was comparable to other Denny's locations of our experience. Recent service was attentive and quick - no complaints there. Two stars because of the restrooms. Every visit (maybe a dozen?) found the restrooms in deplorable, disgusting condition, including one when the men's room door was off its hinges. read more

There were some unanswered questions in the 6.9 star review. Apparently you are able to live in a gas station it is just not recommended, it's also illegal, but rules never stopped me. Speaking of rules, they broke all the rules while making this menu, can you believe that you can have a ham and cheese omelette 3 days in a row at 1:00 AM and they remember you!? Not to mention the restrooms, squeaky clean except stall 1 and stall 3, those have been blown up by yours truly. Overall I think this location is phenomenal and deserves more love. I had stopped in here reluctantly due to my family wanting to have a quick breakfast and me wanting to keep hitting the road up to Michigan all the was from Memphis Tennessee. I don't like the idea of having a gas station-restaurant breakfast but they were hungry and we stopped to fill gas and eat. First of all, ain't no hospitality there from the get go. Everyone was clearly staring at us for being ARAB and NOT in a friendly way. We weren't treated with respect by the hostess nor our server. Our server was rude, severed tables that had sat down after us and they were done before we even got our food. She was extremely dry, didn't smile, but for the clearly LOCAL folks, she was all smiles and pleasant. Clearly racist and didn't care to hide it. I asked her about substituting certain items because I was Keto and she DARED TO ROLL her eyes and say they don't do that but she'll ask and then gave a fake smerk while taking our menus like she was trying to squeeze every ounce of poison out of her face to attempt a fake smile. The Hostess was just as bad, she checked up on almost all the other tables( LOCALS) and didn't bother checking up, asking and completely ignored us being there. Apart from the appalling treatment me and my family got from the trash running this joint, the food was alright. Never ever stepping foot in that place again. I should've never went in and exposed my poor family to that. SHAME ON YOU DENNYS for allowing people like this to work and treat people this way. Shame. read more

Driving through Illinois we stopped for breakfast, this Denny's was connected to a truck stop. The dining area was fairly clean. However, there was 5 different people waiting at front counter to either (a) be seated, (b) pay their bill, and (c) pick-up a carryout We all waited a good 8 to 10 minutes before being acknowledged. My pancakes were good, my eggs & sausage were standard fare, but I ordered a Biscuits & Gravy, waitress brought 2 and charged me for 2 (this automatically created a Zero tip) The biscuits were horrible, hard as a rock, I thought for sure it was going to bend the fork. Not only did I pay full price for a 3 day old biscuit, but was charged for the additional one that I didn't even want. My GS also came with hash browns. I can truly say those were the absolute worst I've ever had in my life, and I've eaten jail food. Seriously, I would've preferred them frozen straight out of the bag, that's how bad they were. Apparently they were cooked yesterday, in last week's oil, and reheated for my plate. Potatoes had zero flavor, just the repulsive taste of stale grease I do not recommend this location at all. Slow service, overcharged, nearly inedible biscuits (I thought it was going to crack a tooth), but those hash browns were truly the grossest thing I've eaten in years read more

Shelley was our server. She was kind and tended to our needs for breakfast. She kept my husbands coffee full. We had a good experience at this Denny's. We came for an early breakfast. We were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered our food and it came back with no problems. I think what made this experience different were the locals that ate here regularly struck up conversations with us and we had good time even with our two children with us. Coffee is tasty and they have free wifi!l You can also fill up with gas at the attached Pilots gas station. read more

I don't care what anyone says... great Denny's location, I'm a truck driver and to find good food locations is hard. I believe her name was jenny ( small lady with short hair and red nails ) lol. this lady did a outstanding job. Had my order ready and perfectly packed when I arrived. As far as food taste the cook made my meal to perfection. I'm picky when it comes to service and food since i used to be on food industry, I gotta say keep it up team you guys are doing great. Terrible place don't waste your time going there. Waited 10 minutes for a glass of water, with maybe 10 people & 3 servers. Ordered a "Super Bird" sandwich. Comes with fries for $9.87. 20 mins. later, the waitress brings my food. 12 fries, super bird is supposed to have bacon(no bacon to be found) & tomatoes(one sliced so thin you could read the paper thru it) also it was about 2" in diameter(tiny) I asked if the cook could spare the fries? Waitress went back & asked that turd about so few fries(at what .12 cents a pound???) he stated "THAT WAS THE PORTION" I then stated screw you people. you expect $10 for this P.O.S. sammich??? Menu did not state food that they had quit serving over a year ago! Ordered a meal, they quit serving that vegetable choice a year ago. If you are in a rig you might consider parking elsewhere. The lot behind the Pilot here was poorly designed. It was a crowded holiday lead-in weekend but they kept the wait down. Stopped in here last Tuesday returning home from a road trip vacation. All I can say is avoid at all possible cost. Wait times and service were absolutely horrendous. Took 20 minutes to be seated (place was half full), another 15 for our order to be taken, another 15 for drinks and water to arrive, another 30 for food to come. To top it off when we asked for our check, waitress never returned. Frustrated we went up to the cashier, only to find out our waitress "Ty", never entered our order into their computer. Waited another 10 minutes while they tried to figure it out, and was finally told to go ahead and just leave without paying. I get the whole shortage of staff due to COVID and people not working, but this is just sad. read more

I've been on the road all night and stopped in this morning to have my first meal in the past 48 hours and I walk up to the Podium and stand next to the "Please wait to be seated" sign. As I'm standing there the server sees me but doesn't acknowledge me. Instead two other parties walk in and she runs to them and ask if they're dining in and booth or table. Whilst I'm standing there 10 minutes at that point, one more group comes in and she runs to them and seats them leaving me still waiting. At the 22 minute mark of me standing in the same spot center-front of their serving podium, I finally just walk out. I'd rather go across the street to Country Pride than be disregarded like that. read more
