You would also think you would be seated, given your menus, given your food, and offered drink refills. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews! We were traveling, hungry, exhausted and our infant was super fussy as we were driving down I-15 one night. I was hesitant to eat here because of the reviews but we were limited by what was open and I just wanted some comfort food at a reasonable price. I'm so glad we stopped here. Cynthia was our server. She was upbeat and friendly. I wanted decaf coffee and she immediately told me she'd grab me a water while I waited for her to start a fresh pot because there wasn't any! Now that's service! Many other places like to serve older or cold decaf coffee rather than make a fresh pot. The restaurant seemed full of locals and travelers. We all just wanted a good meal. Our food arrived quickly and was exactly what we could expect from a Denny's! I'd dine here again. Don't be scared by the negative reviews. We had good food, great service from Cynthia and the restaurant was clean for being attached to a truck stop/gas station. Probably the worst service and meal I've had in recent memory. The server had to be asked several times for silverware. After 3 of us ordered drinks, he brought 2. The food arrived and the eggs were scrambled and were in 1 big clump, brown on the bottom. Hash browns were like potato chips. The Manager was dismissive and rude. This Dennys is HORRIBLE! First off, I rarely eat at Denny's; we are talking once every 3-5 years. However, when traveling though and you find yourself starving, food is food. With that said, this Denny's provided a really good breakfast. No joke, I was impressed! I would say I have had less quality food at what would be considered higher end establishments. The folks working here were very sweet and polite. The food came out in a reasonable timeframe and all together. I highly recommend this place if your traveling through. We love Denny's and think every town should have one. The food was great, as usual, and the portion sizes were awesome. They did, however, charge us full price even though we dined during the hours our kids should have been free. Was starving and our normal place was closed. This place was awful! They served my husband mashed potatoes that looked like curdled milk and said it was because they had to nuke them. Terrible!!! I should have known we had a problem when the servers, who were sitting around idly chatting to each other, argued about who would show us to seats. My wife ordered the American breakfast, and I ordered a Caesar salad. Then we waited...and waited. At most Denny's we would have finished our meal and left by the time we got served. When my wife got her American breakfast, she was told that the toast wasn't ready yet! What effort does it take to get toast ready? There were only about ten customers, and almost as many servers gossiping in the kitchen. The food that my wife did receive was terrible. The potatoes were cold, the bacon was undercooked, and the eggs appeared to have been dried out by a heat lamp. I usually get moon over my hammy but today decided to change it up and eat less calories and bit more healthy. So I ordered a Cesar salad with grilled chicken. When it came it had italian dressing poured on thick not the cesar dressing and bacon thrown in with the chicken. Never have i had a cesar salad with bacon. Waiters seemed really friendly, the place seemed nice - although, after waiting 40 minutes for our food, we kept asking when the food would be ready, and they kept assuring us it would be a couple minutes. We then saw the two other groups of people who ordered 15 minutes after we came in get their food. They even ordered more food than we did. Our order was simple and small. I hadn't eaten at a Denny's in over a decade before I came to this one late at night while traveling through. They have changed a lot in those 10 years! Kids eat free until 10pm and the kids menu is great, with lots of options. I never would have thought that my whole family could eat at a Denny's, but I was wrong. I have been to this Denny's a number of times, and I keep going back for a reason- good food for a good price. They are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It's a Denny's. Now keep that in mind. When I go there, I get what I order. You know why? Because I treat the employees like humans. I know they are not perfect. I know they have faults. And yes there are times that individually they can really screw up. They are not a 5 star premium steak house. It's a truck stop. TRUCK. STOP. Think about this for a minute. It's 2 am. Cold and wet outside and you've been on the road all day. You get to a Denny's. The food may not be 5 star, but then it's 2 am and nasty out. You get your fuel, you buy and take a hot shower from the Flying J, then have a hot meal at...Denny's. Gee, I'm so sorry that there is not steak and lobster served by naked chiks/studs with arm loads of 420 to share. It's a truck stop. Judge a premium steak house by other premium steak houses. And judge the truck stops by pother truck stops. If you don't like how you were served, be polite and tell the manager. If you don't like Denny's, don't go back. What ever you do is up to you. Just remember that you are no better than they are. They are just as human. I am not the owner nor do I work there and odds are they have no idea who I am *IF* they even read this. Yeah I stopped at this Denny's the customer service was great there was not that many people in the restaurant at the time I visited. The only reason they're getting three star that it took them almost 45 minutes to get my food out. I mean I understand if there's a lot of people but there was only a few truck drivers that were in here still it took them forever to bring the food out. Had dinner here tonight. Quite possibly the worst meal I've had in years. I ordered the choconana pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage. The eggs were burnt and rubbery and the sausage was burnt. My wife ordered the pumpkin spice pancake breakfast with over medium eggs and sausage, same scenario...burnt. Service was under par also. Cook was heard to respond to request for over easy eggs..."I'll try". Manager asked how everything was and was told it was terrible. He responded by taking $12.00 off of a $38.00 dollar bill. On our road trip we were really hungry and decided to stop at this Denny's to have breakfast. The only part of our experience that was expedited was when we were initially seated and when we paid our tab. Everything else was rather lackluster and poor. We were seated and it took some time for our waitress to come over and serve us a couple of cups of coffee and we didn't waste any time and ordered our food immediately. It took about 40 minutes for our food to be prepared and given to us. Even then, we only received half of our food as we still had to wait for my bacon and French toast to be made. The food was subpar which I had already expected but we were definitely expecting our food to come out sooner than 40 minutes to prepare basic breakfast foods like eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns and pancakes. If the restaurant was really busy and they were backed up, I would have understood, however the fact that you could count how many parties there were was the upsetting part. The waitress was nice but she also lacked in following up with coffee refills, napkins and basics items that we had to ask for. After we left, the food had upset my gf's stomach and she ended up having a little bit of food poisoning. Definitely stay away from this location in the future. read more

Stay Away!!!.There was maybe 4 other tables that had people sitting at them and we were told 20-25 min wait for food. I was shocked but we said ok. We were seated and 5 min later a waiter came to ask if we have been helped. I said no, he took our drink order and food order. 5 min later we got our drinks. We sat there for 30 min. There were 5 waitress doing NOTHING. 2 people came in 15 min after us and got their food within 10 min. Another guy came in 25 min after we did and he got his food within 5 min. Not sure why there's so many low stars. I eat at alot of dennys being a trucker I eat at them all over the u.s and Canada this dennys is smaller but still a fair size. The food was hot and it came fast . The waitresses were super friendly I really injoyed them going out of there way to make you feel comfy in there restaurant. Just a warm hearted place. Plus if u mention your a trucker u get a discount on your meal what more do people want these waitresses really really tryed hard . read more

The food is typical for Denny's but considering the lack of choices around (especially once you get south of Nephi) its not terrible. What is terrible is the service, the servers and cooks are perpetually in the parking lot smoking and performing other shady activities and you will likely wait at least 45 minutes for your food. If I were rating this place on service alone it would get zero stars. Beware of the Flying J bathrooms as well, the restaurant is attached to a gas station and they are not well maintained. I give it three stars because if you are hungry this is your last decent dining option for quite awhile. read more

We were traveling a 26 hour car trip home and stopped to eat here because me and family enjoy Denny's we ordered right away as soon as the waitress came so are food could come faster only being 3 of us we got are drinks and we're waiting for are food for about 40 mins and then the waiter finally came to check on us only because we kept looking at her talking to her co worker just standing there when she finally came to check on us she said she would see what was talking long turns out she never put are order in and never even checked the whole time even after a couple who came in after us got there food before us she said if we still wanted are food it would take 10 min making are wait a whole hour so we left later we stopped at another one in Wyoming and are food didn't even take 10 min to get to us and was amazing read more

Love the skillets the food has always been good when I have stopped here. They could use someone who only does the register the waiters are sometimes busy and so no one to seat you for awhile or check you out. We took my mother here to eat out shortly before she passed away. She was in a wheelchair so we went in before we decided to eat here to see if there was a place for the chair. The staff came up to seat us, my mother was still in the car, and we explained our situation. They quickly made room for us at a table. The service was quick, nice and friendly.
