Pretty average for a Denny's. I ordered the Pot Roast Dinner with mashed potatoes and sauted zucchini/squash. The pot roast was GREAT! Very tender and moist! The mashed potatoes were good, but the portion was quite small and could have used more gravy. The veggies were overcooked and limp, swimming in whatever they were sauted in. My husband ordered the Cobb Salad, but substituted grilled salmon for the chicken. The salmon was very flaky and well cooked. Also, they subbed the "normal" bacon with turkey bacon as requested. The salad was fresh and delicious. The only minus was the paltry amount of avocado. Bummer. The service was slow and they seemed to be horribly understaffed. Our server seemed to be handling most of the restaurant and helping out the hostess. The hostess was overwhelmed between seating people, checking people out and "to go" orders. The food came out of the kitchen very, very slow. Hopefully it was just an off night from a service standpoint. We'll likely be back and I'll update. read more

The service left much to be desired, as the staff seems to be in no hurry. We waited several minutes before we were seated, with several employees seeing us standing at the podium but not greeting us. We ordered bacon, eggs and pancakes for breakfast and it took 30 minutes before we got our food. With long wait times I expect to be updated and we didn't receive any. The restaurant was steady but not overly busy, and at several points our server was standing away from the kitchen chatting with another server for several minutes without greeting a new table in her section. The food was good and our server was friendly, but I was so put off that no one who worked here seemed to be working very hard or with any concept of time. read more

Our favorite place to go for Sunday Breakfast / Brunch. They also except AARP. Serve at times may be a bit slow but the food is always good.

Ordered a Tbone steak and they tried serving me a pork steak saying it was a tbone...good service from Stephanie but the Manger thinks truck drivers are morons. read more

Ordered our food online and the website told us it would be ready in 20 minutes. Went to pick it up and the hostess told us that it wouldn't be ready for an additional 20 minutes because the kitchen was "behind". The manager was luckily standing there and we told him we didn't have the time to wait and would just want a refund and cancel the order. The manager gave us some false sounding excuse that a third party company runs the payment part of online ordering and he couldn't authorize us a refund. Then he said he would go to the back and check if he could. He came back about 10 minutes later with our food. The kitchen obviously ignored our online order and they gave us a bunch of lies and excuses. I understand it's Denny's and not to expect very much but don't straight up lie to your paying customers read more

Slow at getting your order out, slow at checking up on you, slow at giving you your bill from what I remembered the two times I went here a few weeks ago..... also it's right beside trucker stations so it feels hill Billy like. Most of the workers have that southern accent "bob" "sally" vibe, but not a issue..... it's all the way out in oak Grove if there were more places nearby I'd go here a bit more read more

On Saturday June 9, 2018, six of us went to eat at this particular Denny's. First off, the servers there were really great. They deserve 5 stars. Our server, who was six months pregnant, had to go into the kitchen to help the cooks try and catch up. Once the orders were in, we waited 45 minutes for our food to come. This was because the general manager went on vacation, but before leaving he/she placed two BRAND NEW cooks with only ONE manager in the kitchen. In my opinion, this was extremely poor planning for a busy Saturday night. While we waited, several groups of people got up and left without being served. These people had been seated and had given their orders. The food eventually arrived but there were some issues. We had to ask for parts of the dinners that were missing and the orders were not cooked correctly. The spicy dish was way too spicy, the chicken was rubbery, and the steak was tough, fatty, and way over cooked. I know it's a Denny's and not fancy dining, but I have never been as disappointed in a restaurant as I was tonight. As a group, we decided that we were not likely to return. read more

Worse service ever! Over 40 mins waiting for a table, no order in how people are selected for a table. Credit card service down so line to check out is down the whole aisle of the restaurant. Front staff has no idea how to seat a restaurant with tons of guests coming in off the road. A shame no manager could be found to fix the situation. Don't bother stopping here!! read more

Wait was horrible .. Service was horrible. Waitress totally ignored us. We were in need of refills and more food to order. Meanwhile she made sure her other tables were attended to. Good service, that's about it. The food is TERRIBLE. I am very easy to please, not picky at all with food, but this experience was simply abysmal. I ordered the bacon avacado burger, something I've ordered before at other Dennys locations. I was looking forward to having it because it truly blew me away at a different Dennys (Nebraska, I think), it was so juicy and full of flavor, with generous amount of fresh avacado slices. This time, however, when the burger was set in front of me, my jaw just dropped. And not in a good way. The burger patty was all dry, there was half a piece of bacon and a single slice of avacado, smeared on the soggy bun. Not sure why the bun was soggy. It was disgusting and flavorless, but I ate it anyway since I was starving. Shouldn't have. On my way out I passed by the hot food case in the flying J, and found myself wishing I had just picked up something from there. Would have been much tastier. We go there to just set and relax, have a great meal, I have never had anything I didn't love, there cooks know what there doing, servers are on top of there game. The place is clean and friendly. I love it. We will keep coming because of these reason and the price is very affordable. read more

This restaurant was not busy when my family was there. However, we sat at our table for 15 min without being approached by and server. I asked the hostess 10 min into our visit if anyone was working the section she sat us in and was told she would get someone over. After 5 more minutes of waiting with my wife and hungry daughter we walked out. We will not go back here and I do not recommend anyone try to eat here. read more

So, today was the second time I visited this particular restaurant. Typically I am a huge fan of Denny's menu. However, the service from their personnel has proved to be rude and slow as if were an inconvenience to them. I came back hoping that the substandard service was just that day. They were probably about 10 tables occupied and the rest of the place was empty and for some reason they had a hard time to get us sited with 0 wait time. The order for drinks came after 10 minutes. We order one plate ahead for my daughter while we selected our meals to order. The first order came fairly quick but the actual meal took over 40 minutes and we decided to leave. Almost 1 hour and we did not have our food still. This time, the manager took care of the meal, but last time I was not so lucky. They take for ever to even bring the bill. We like Denny's but this particular one needs an employee attitude overhaul. I do not see us going back or recommending it read more

Attempted to eat at Denny's today. Utter chaos!!! No direction as to how seating is done; went to podium to leave our name or get a number. Hostess was dumb founded; guest in line yelled at me. He then called me a B----. He should have been refused service immediately!! I have been in the industry for years and never seen this. People on top of each other with no direction. Only regulars seemed to know what to do. We have eaten at several Denny's over the years and NEVER seen anything like this. I doubt if we will attempt again, so much for southern hospitality. read more

I love going to Denny's! I usually get the chicken loaded potato skillet and it's A M A Z I N G ! I always ask for Bryan, he's an awesome waiter there. Very polite and aiming to give you an awesome dining experience. Ask for him, he's awesome! He will make sure you're taken care of, and of course take care of him too! We have tried the one in Miami and it was good one, so we decided to eat from Denny's again in Kentucky

Food was fast like all Denny's usually. Being a trucker I have ate any many Denny's and this was by far the worst. Waitress was nice I order the new sweet bourbon chicken I think it's called. I had it at another Denny's it was amazing but this Denny's served it was dry, not enough sweet bourbon sauce, chicken was dry. I ordered a side of hash browns that cost $2.29 and it was about 3-4 spoon fills small small portion for the price but the thing that got me was the fact I found a nasty short black hair stuck to the chicken. Was disappointed. Also for the same combo with a sweet tea came to nearly $15 meal at other Denny's for same thing was $12. Won't be coming back. read more

Went there for a later then usual dinner. Had a long time with four kids at the dentist. The Waffle House was full by gate 4. We decided to try out Denny's. Half the place was empty and we still had to wait to be seated. 10 minutes of wait to be seated at a table that was empty the whole time we waited. Took them a while to get drinks and orders. We were alright with that because we wanted to look at the menu. Waited for food was a bit. Not all came out. Was missing a few things. We had no silverware and sat there for a while while food got cold. Imagine that happening with four hungry kids. They behaved but it felt so bad to tell them they can't eat yet. Went to the front and asked if they had silverware and they said that they had none because it was getting washed. There was people sat after us that had their silverware and there was tons of tables that was sitting there uncleared for a long while. I've worked in restaurants before as waitress, grill cook, dish washer, and prep cook. Things was not running right somewhere for the night shift. The waiter was very nice, apologetic and looked a little frustrated. It wasn't all his fault. He finally came out with the silverware and plate of Mac and cheese for our 2 year old. No apples because there was no bowls. He said it could be placed on a plate. I'm alright with that. Still missing cheese fries. So we told him to just take it off the check. Still tiped him almost 20% because he was nice but the excuse that they were just getting over a 3 hour rush is not a good one. Been there...done that and it was not this disorganized. read more
