I love this location, out of all of them. Large amount of seating. Have separate room for parties. Noise control is good. Bathrooms are decent and well kept. Plenty of parking, located around other stores and restaurants, post office, etc. Food is very good. I've never been disappointed. Friendly staff. Quick service. Music is ok. We went around 10:36am greeted and sat, got our order taken by 10:43 and by 10:50 our food was hot and ready which was surprising because according to our older experiences dennys always left us unsatisfied due to taking foreverrr to bring our food, bill, etc. But at This location we had an awesome experience thanks to our server Christian, he was very quick, helpful and kind, he helped us with selections, and helped me figure out how to use my coupons. It's universally accepted that it's not cool to say anything good about Walmart, McDonald's, or Denny's. This Orangevale store is a strong argument in Denny's favor. I hadn't been in any Denny's for nearly 20 years, but the other day It was dreary, I didn't feel terrific, I was hungry, and they were the next left turn in. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. I ordered the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich meal, which includes Brioche bun, sausage, bacon, American cheese, two eggs your way, and a side of hash browns AND coffee. Cost was $10. And the food was GREAT! That is deep in fast food pricing all things considered, and with the service and food being very good and the vibe OK I knew I would be back. And the next day, I was. I'm not a fan of writing one star reviews, but I've been beefing with this Denny's off and on for quite some time now. Now I've always been a much bigger Mel's fan, so I only go to Denny's when my friends want it. Service has been off and on over the years. Sometimes I've had the best server of my life, and other times the worst. So we rate it as average service, 5/10. My real beef is with the kitchen. Here's my experience of each item over the years. Zesty nachos: Stale chips and very bland nachos. Mozzarella Sticks: Hot on outside, cold on inside. Sometimes warm on inside but never that gooey cheese that you're hoping for. Flavor not the greatest. Fries: Decent. Not the best, not the worst, just sort of average fries. Hash Browns: Never golden brown, always blackened and burnt. Pancakes: Always dry and need to be drenched in Syrup. Milk Shakes: Solid. Panookie: Amazing. Hot Chocolate: Watery tasting and came in a dirty mug. Strawberry Lemonade: Good. Moons over my hammy: Usually solid except for the burnt hash browns. Double Cheeseburger: Always so dry, but decent flavor. Chicken Tenders: This is where the biggest problem comes from. They have never made my chicken tenders right. They always come out hard as if they just sit on the warmer waiting for someone to order it. I've ordered them so many times and never once had a nicely cooked chicken tender. It's so deprived of moisture It's nearly impossible to bite a piece of it off. Now of course this is purely this location. If my friends take me to a different location there is typically no problems. If you're wanting to get breakfast, please love yourself enough to go to any of the other wonderful businesses in this city. Many of them are the same price as here. When I was growing up, my musician dad always stopped at Dennys after his late night gig to unwind with a cup of coffee and something to eat. During the holidays, we'd all go to Dennys late at night and get dessert and we'd spend hours there talking and laughing. He passed away a few yrs ago. So now I still dine there In Memory of my late father. I usually order what he used to have. My most recent visit was a take out order of coffee and Dennys delicious cinnamon pancakes. The coffee was fresh and hot and so were the pancakes. The server was Mariah N. and she was very pleasant and kind. I really do appreciate employees who are professional and attentive. Wife had the new mega philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries and a drink and I had the bacon avocado lettuce tomato onion pickle american cheese burger with fries on the side. Let me start by saying, Kelly, who was our server, very attentive and so funny too! She's got a great personality too..give her a raise already! She made our experience very worthwhile. I have never eaten inside this Denny's but we have ordered delivery and curbside at least 10 times. Today was the last. It never fails that there is a problem with our order. We're usually missing something (sometimes an entire meal). We got all our food this tome but look at our kids Minnie corn dogs. I'll attach hoots. They were hard as rocks and not edible. My husband and I both got club sandwiches, our customizations were incorrect but that's not our complaint our bread was not toasted and completely soggy from the tomatoes. What a waste of $50 I ended up making lunch at home which I probably should have done in the first place. read more

I often hear from others that Denny's isn't the best restaurant to eat at. I recently decided to dine at Denny's and I would like to say otherwise based on my experience. After a very fun 3-hour long prom a group of us had a reservation to go and dine at Denny's after prom. All of us were pretty hungry considering the fact that at prom they didn't serve any food, just a few pastries and fruits as snacks. Our reservation was set for 11 PM, but the person who was going to pick us up and take us to Denny's fell asleep. S we got picked an hour late so we got to our reservation approximately 15 minutes after our set reservation time. Once we arrived we walked in and as soon as we did we got greeted by the workers who were very welcoming. They immediately started small talk with us as we walked over to our table, we then all sat down and got menus aside with some cold water for all of us. We collectively take around 5-10 minutes as we chat and flip through the menus to decide what it was that we wanted to eat, during that time period the workers complimented our tuxedos and dresses. We then eventually all started ordering, and I wasn't all that hungry so I ordered chicken tenders with wavy fries and a mango lemonade as my drink. About maybe 15 minutes go by while we wait for our food to be prepared, which was relatively fast considering the fact that 8 of us ordered with what I remember like 3 people working that night. I had only ever had Denny's once before in my life, so for it being my second time it was much better than I remembered. The food was great, the chicken tenders were very flavorful as they were tender on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside, the fries were seasoned just right, not too bland nor too salty, and without ever having a mango lemonde it was very sweet but in a good way. Nothing great half of their menu items don't even show online but they still offer them which is a little frustrating when trying to order online it's better to just go in and eat there or call in and ask if they still are serving some of the items. They have updated the restaurant and it looks pretty nice. They also put in a jukebox which is cool, gives it a whole different atmosphere. It's very family-friendly. The waitresses really hustle here. I came here on a Saturday morning around 10 o'clock. Everybody was seated and we got our coffee in like five minutes. There's an awesome waitress by the name of Chanae, she's got GREAT customer service skills! She's not hard to find, she's all decorated up with a great smile and festive accessories. ;) read more
