We were there on Christmas Day and so appreciate that they were open. They were under staff which is understandable for the day. And when we order t bone we got the last one in the kitchen. The waitress was nice she warned us that it might be 30 min wait bc of the holiday but she really tried to serve us fast and we got our food pretty fast. If I could leave them zero star I would. THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I was there with my family for breakfast. Got there at 10:30AM, was told the wait was 30 minutes. We got seated at 10:57AM. Our waitress name was Tasha. She wrote our order and had to come back to ask for one of our orders again (even though she already wrote them down). We looked at the time and it was 11:45AM and we have not gotten our orders yet, just waters, couple cups of coffee and a cup of mango smoothie. When we asked Tasha how much longer will it take otherwise we would just leave since we did have plans, she said "I'm gonna ask". Instead of coming back to our table to inform us, she stayed in front and did something else. We decided to leave and left them some cash for our drinks. UNBELIEVABLE. read more

I have never seen what I saw in this morning in this restaurant. We were in Page, AZ for the annual Balloon Regatta. As we entered the restaurant for breakfast, a very large male waiter was literally yelling at the hostess. I heard very distinctly the waiter say "I am not waiting on them! I told you not to seat them!" A group of 9 people were standing by an empty table looking a bit confused. Then this large man started screaming at customers saying that he wasn't supposed to working that day but they called him in. He implied he was doing a favor for the customers just to wait on them! I almost didn't believe what we were seeing and hearing! We stayed about 30 minutes because we wanted breakfast. Without exaggeration there was exactly 3 orders delivered while we waited. The large waiter kept tell all the customers that it was going to another 40 minutes before their food is served. We left! read more

Tonight I really wanted breakfast food after hiking. Despite the negative reviews, we gave Denny's a chance. I'm so glad we did! Tee was a fantastic server! She was helpful when we ordered by saving us some money making sure we ordered the correct meals. She was friendly and checked on us several times. We try to support restaurants especially during this trying time. However, stood at the front for almost 10 minutes. No one ever acknowledged us, never said we will be right with you or anything. The service here is fast. We came here with a major time crunch because we were running behind schedule on our way to antelope canyon yours that morning. It didn't take the staff very long to seat a party of six. We ordered and out drinks and food came out relatively quick. I thought my veggie skillet might take 20 minutes but it was out in 10 minutes, piping hot and delicious. It's been a while since I ate at Denny's but that really hit the spot. We found a coupon online for 20% off and presented it on our iPhone. Even though their system usually requires a print out, the manager was able to make an exception and let us use it anyway. I get this happens sometimes, but the server didn't even ask the gentleman for his name, he just gave him our order. The food was really bad as well. Half of the hash browns were completed burnt. We ignored the reviews of this restaurant and thought "how bad could it be?" Well just to start it took 10-15 minutes before any staff acknowledged us and got us seated (a group of 3 people). It then took another 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order. The food, the breakfast was undercooked, and then the chicken was way over cooked. Without asking us they decided to "upgrade" our sides on 2 out of 3 of the meals, then Mickey the manager refused to correct the extra charges for the upgrades, that none of us asked for! For making us wait so long and the food being so terrible, the least they could have done was correct the mistake. The weirdest experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Yes, we arrived late, around 10 pm, but since it's open 24 hours, I would expect some kind of service. None. Nada. No one even acknowledged us. They looked at us, looked away and kept rolling silverware. We stood there for 15 minutes. I began to think we were invisible. I went to the restroom, and there was not a scrap of toilet paper anywhere. After waddling to find some paper towel, I managed to finish up only to find my party still waiting. A group of three men who were sitting in the waiting area with menus said they had been waiting 30 minutes and were told that the kitchen "was on a break or changing shifts or something." It was unclear. So we left. I am now very clear why we never eat at Dennys. Bad food and worse service. read more

I dragged my Wife kicking and screaming to Denny's. After the last Denny's debacle I had to use logic. My contention was that the hotel in which we were staying had a two star rating on Yelp. So why not go to a place with two stars at almost a third the price? My logic won her over as well as the fact that I was prepared to be yelled at. We were glad we came. The food was very good, the staff friendly and polite. Mackenna, our server was informative and very continuous. She made me one of the best milkshakes I have had in recent memory. This was by far the worst experience I've had at Denny's. It did not appear very busy when we were there, but it took FOREVER to get our food. I'm really not sure what the problem was, but after our party of 7 ordered, it was over 45 minutes before the first part of our order appeared. We received no refills and no check ins from our server during that time. When the food came out, it came out in two chunks. The first half came out and my burger was messed up. I was very clear that I did not want onions on burger, and it came out smothered in onions. We waited another 15 minutes for the second half of our order to arrive at which point I told the server that I did not want onions and needed another burger. I also asked for a refill at this time. 30 minutes later when everyone else was done eating, I received my burger and had to again ask for a refill as I had not received it. I ate it quickly (it was pretty bland and boring) so that we could go because we had been out all day and were very tired. There was no offer of a discount or refund and a manager never visited our table. Also to note, because I hate it when restaurants do this... the burgers my friend and I ordered were supposed to have 4 pieces of bacon, which is why we ordered it. It only came out with 2. But they made us wait so long, we just ate it at that point. The experience was so bad that it became the joke of the trip to say... Have now been charged 3 times for my food and zero help on how to solve the issue. If you want to hear very vulgar conversations between the manager and her employees this is the place to be. We came here late night as it was the only option open. I have a which is a service animal, but he was not wearing his vest (for those who don't know, the vests have no legal power; anyone can buy one off Amazon) and immediately the manager​ told us we must leave the dog in the car. I explained this was a service animal and (although it's illegal for someone to ask for this) I have the paperwork on me. The manager insisted that without a vest this was not a 'real' service dog which led to me needing to educate her via the ADA website.. Well after getting off to the wrong foot the manager made it her mission to make sure we didn't enjoy our stay. We actually heard her call an emergency staff meeting which must have been: don't do anything for them except get them out of here. We were threatened that if he moved out from under the table we would need to leave immediately (again, this is an unfair request according to the ADA), we were denied a glass of water for our dog (a clear ADA violation), and when we finished they refused to provide To-Go boxes for our left overs (this is just childish). The entire meal the manager was posted nearby watching us with the dirty eye. The food was above average for a Denny's, but WOW is that manager on some crazy power trip. Food was BARELY cooked, it was like they put it in the pan for two seconds before they put it on the plate. EVEN THE EGGS. Huge health safety risk. The toast was black, we asked for more and were never given any. We had to physically get up more than once to remind our waiter what we had asked for, and he still forgot half of our food on the plate. I went in to Denny's in Page Arizona this morning. I was very disappointed. I don't eat pork or beef. I asked to substitute the chorizo on a scrambler for turkey bacon and the waitress told me she couldn't do it because it wasn't in the computer and she would "get in trouble". One would think that Denny's would want to please your customers, but most times I go into Denny's in many states, they try to charge me extra or say they can't help me because I don't eat the meats they normally serve in your dishes. I don't know why there are so many low reviews- we came here because we could easily walk from our hotel and we had a LONG day! They had multiple groups of people waiting in the entrance, the wait to be seated was 10-15 mins, apparently, though there were heaps of empty tables. Why? We stayed in Page for 4 days and went to many restaurants and so far it's the best place to dine with kids. Great menu, well prepared dishes, friendly service. Our kids especially liked grilled chicken on a stick, juicy and tender! Yum!
