Hadn't been to Pahrump in many years. Still a charming town that resists change. But this Denny's is another casulty of the covid era--too many people wanting to enjoy a beautiful day out with family and friends for a nice breakfast. Only two, maybe three overworked waitresses and my guess is only one cook. The amount of people sitting at tables without food should have been a signal to turn around and head back down the street for a Sausage McMuffin and much better coffee. I felt bad when our breakfast was served to us sooner than others who had been waiting longer. But it was no prize. I didn't think eggs and toast could be less satisfying. Sad to say it was definitely the worst breakfast and worst service in my 70 years. But it's also been the worst two years on the planet for everyone. I'm guessing a lot of people don't leave tips at times like this, but we still left 20%. Hang in there! Things will get better. read more

I had the worst dining experience ever at this place. I have been vegetarian all my life and this place served me beef burger instead of the veggie burger I ordered for, because apparently the staff and the chefs 'had a long day' and they made a mistake. When confronted, they asked for forgiveness and offered a re-make. When I declined the re-make because I felt disgusted and hurt already, they expected me to pay for the burger. The manager specially was unapologetic and rude about the whole experience. When I threatened her about posting this incidence on social media and reporting it to Denny's customer service, she started offering me a discount which I did not take. I would not recommend anybody to go to this place so that nobody else has to go through a similar disrespectful and disappointing experience. Apparently $10 for a burger matters more to them than a person's principles and religious beliefs. read more

Did not think Dennys could be that bad but WOW this place gets worse every time my wife and I stop in. Would love to see this place do better but it is always a roll of the dice on what you get. Sometimes it is very nice, other times the servers forget parts of your order and roll their eyes and are rude when you nicely ask for your missing order. This happens more often when it is a younger group eating. The servers think they can be rude and then wonder why they did not receive a tip. (It is not because kids don't tip. ) They need to know their profits would go up if they treated the younger crowds nicer. With not many places open late, they are losing groups coming in because of lack of service and being rude. read more

I like this Dennys! My fav is the Banana n walnut pancakes and grits very moist and the grits came in a single serving! I ordered it in a different state very dry and the grits were in a huge bowl I couldnt finish it! read more

We ordered a quesadilla and a burger with coffee Waited for an hour for just the coffee. The food was brought to our table after an hour and fifteen minutes of ordering it. The server wasn't even sorry for bringing in the food late. The table next to ours got coffee and their food within just 15 mins of ordering. And I don't think a quesadilla and burger takes more than 15 mins. It wasn't even busy. You can see the quality of service from there. Avoid if you are running low on time. read more

We stopped in here for dinner and immediately felt that we were a bother to the staff we were never acknowledged by the waitress. A group came in after us that we're locals and they were immediately served and taken care of. We were stared at by the staff and other customers. Long wait for service, when I tried to get there attention they look the other way. Got my meal chicken soup was like broth no chicken, my burger was so greasy my bread was soaked. Would not recommend this place. read more

I have recently gave this establishment a visit during the lunch hour, here is my review of my visit. It took some time to get seated upon our entry which was about 5 minutes or so. After being seated we placed our order on drinks in which I ordered a coke and the other 3 people in my party ordered Ice Tea with no lemon. They brought the drinks back 3 Ice Teas with lemon and my coke was flat, I then had it sent back anf exchanged for some Dr Pepper which was so much better then the flat coke I ordered originally. After placing our food order we had to wait 15 minutes or more to finally receive our order but the food wasn't bad at all and it was all really good it was just the service that wasn't all that great to jump about other then that it was awesome! read more

I give their wheat pancakes with scrambled eggs and coffee all five stars. Everyone has a favorite dish at Denny's. Just pick yours and come here any hour of the day! This is like our local diner. Open all day for all. I don't mind coming here every now and then to order my five star meal :) read more

Terry our host and Jessica our waitress were the best!!!! The manager was not helpful at all! With an outside of 66* we walk in and it's colder! We got sat just under the ceiling fan going full blast (see video) and people wearing jackets! I asked the host if he can turn the fan off or at least down. He got his manager and she said "there's nothing I can do about the fan. Do you want to move?" I've yet to see/find a fan that did not have a switch. Not impressed. read more

Kevin the waiter was awesome. Even though he was doing everything from seating you, waiting on everyone, bussing tables. Had a great attitude. Their was another person there named Debbie who did nothing to help Kevin in anyway until about 30mins when the manager came out to front. She then decided to wait on a table. They were also out of a lot of items, but for a small town that had a convention in it. Kevin did let us know ahead of time what they were out of. read more

I definitely recommend the bourbon burger if you like a tastey burger or the prime rib philly. For children they have a great little kid menu. Every time I went they seemed a little under staffed and my server was running around answering calls, seating people, and delivering food to tables and making sure everyone was satisfied. If I remember her name correctly it was Allie and I do recommend sitting in her area because even though she was super busy she never showed it. Such a sweet and kind personality. read more

It's been about a month since I visited Denny's, but I just went today, around lunch time, with my mother and grandmother. I got a club sandwich and ceaser salad, and they got Cobb salad with grilled chicken. The first thing we noticed, is that the prices have sky rocketed by five dollars an item, and the servers were reluctant to give and hiding the value menu, the 2468 menu. The next thing was that I wasn't allowed to substitute sides for my meal and they charged extra for my salad because I didn't want fries. The salad itself is my next topic. The lettuce and cheese seemed to be cheap and from a pre mix ceaser salad bag, and the ranch with it was warm and didn't taste right. My mother's Cobb salad had nearly rotten avacado, bagged salad instead of the proclaimed fresh Ice berg and no bacon, as advertised, and the chicken was bland. The waitress tried to give me a set of silverware from a dirty table which had the fork missing. And didn't even give the others sets of silverware, so I had to go to the manager and get sets. The bacon on my club sandwich was thin and not crispy, the lettuce was a little rotten and I am writing this while on the the way to the bathroom with not so pleasent feelings in my stomach. So once again, I paid for a meal that was way too pricey for less then a dollar quality. Wish I could put this review as a 0/5 stars but the lowest I can is 1/5. read more

Just tonight we came in and waited over 45 minutes without even being acknowledged and finally left after we saw another group seated right next to us have their drinks served and food orders taken as soon as they sat down. Worst dennys ever. I can't believe the customer service here. Lack of knowledge from the waiter/waitresses of menu that hardly changes... Always some excuse for not bringing something to our table within reasonable time. They weren't even busy. Half of the time our waitress was just standing there. The manager at this establishment has to go. She needs to step down or become a cook as she likes to hide in the kitchen or sit on her ass when her employees obviously need help. She doesn't like to sit people or run the register. She is very curt and detached. You can tell she hates her job. The food has gone downhill a bit ever since the other manager relocated. A waitress was working alone with a few tables and they put in a new computer system at the register. She needed help and asked for it. The manager was in the kitchen and ignored her. I don't know what she has to go through herself everyday, but I think she would be happier as a cook. I used to wait tables myself and saw what was going on. This isn't the first incident. The Denny's here has gotten progressively worse. My fiance ordered Biscuits and Gravy w/eggs" and I ordered the "Everyday Value Slam". My fiance's Biscuits and Gravy was made with a powder based white gravy and the sausage in it was almost raw, the eggs that they received you were able to clearly tell that they were pre scrambled eggs in a carton. The sausage that I received with my meal was raw and the bacon was extremely artificial, the pancakes you were clearly able to taste that it was just made from a box that you were able to buy at Walmart or Albertsons, the over medium eggs that I received was the only decent part of my meal. And the dish that both of us shared was the "create your own sampler" which consisted of mozzarella sticks and chicken strips which surprisingly were decently good. The manager was completely unreasonable and was not listening to the customers at all even when recommendations of how to do stuff professionally was given. Due to how the food was actually prepared and with how raw it was, my fiance ended up throwing up everything that they consumed about 5 minutes after eating it. One of the only things I'm actually content with is the fact that our waitress Kimberly went above and beyond the call of duty by using her own money in order to get us a coupon because the manager was refusing everything else it was not listening to a single person. read more

We came in at dinner time on a Sunday evening. We noticed right off that it was not crowded like most Denny's. We were seated & the server didn't even give us time to take off coats before asking what we wanted to drink. Then it was an unusually long wait for water with lemon and a coffee. 8 tables had people. 16 were empty. No lemon when the server came back. She took our orders for food, then came back with the wrong soup. When we asked for it to be replaced with what was requested the server complained that it was a "long night, but not very busy". We never saw her again. A different server checked on us when plates were empty to take what would be a to-go dessert order and get our check. No one working there seemed glad to be there. We never saw a smile, nor heard a welcome voice. read more

What did you do with all the good servers ???? Management, where do you find them? How can you be a manager without proper training, ALL Manager should know their store & the equipment. I called to order, 1 hamburger with fries (not hard) To Go at 8:20. After stumbling around to find his pad to write down the order, he tells me it will be ready in 20 mins. I arrive approx. 15min later, the cashier looks confused but double checks with the guy who took the order & lets me know I can pay for it now while I wait. I pay and let her know I'll be outside right in front because my dog is in the car. So she tells me she will bring it out to me. I thought great at first but 30 mins after I paid ( 9:10pm) still nothing, so I go back in and another lady tries to help look for my order, asks the guy who took it & nothing. I then asked for my money back because I do not have another 30 mins. So she tells me the manager will have to reimburse me. Guess who the manager is ............ The guy who took my order. WORST PART he proceeds to tell me sorry but he doesn't know how to reimburse me using the credit card machine. This is the last time I go here, 3 strikes your out. read more

The menu here is super limited. If you can get past that the food is still terrible. The burgers are dry, well done, and have no seasonings. The chicken strips are all breading and no chicken. The only thing I've managed to somewhat enjoy here is the fish and chips, minus the bland, soggy chips. I'm speaking for four experiences here. This wasn't just a one time flop. read more

First time we had dinner there and we couldn't be more disappointed. There were very few people in the restaurant and yet it took the waitress some good 20 minutes to take our order. Not only was service slow but they tried to rip us off by overcharging us for a cup of chili. When I made the order I showed the waitress the promotional flyer inside the menu which claimed it cost $2. We got charged $4 for the same thing. When I brought up the issue, the waitress deliberately came back with a different menu and the flyer was missing. She laughed at me like I was hallucinating. Stay away!!! We went for breakfast and walked out in bad mood. Bad service, the waiter did not get my order right, did not check if we need coffee, or water refills. After handing the guest check at the middle of our meal, I asked for a coffee refill, he never came back. I had to go over to their kitchen to ask for coffee. I don't usually give 3 star ratings, I either rate places I love or places I hate. Denny's in Pahrump is neither. Service is okay, food is okay. My wife cannot go there, she has Celiac and the two times she went she was glutened. I'll continue to go a couple of times a year for breakfast, wish I could say I liked it more and wanted to go more often. read more
