The worst place ever! We got seated in about 3 minutes which was great then we didn't get acknowledge for about 20 minutes when she finally came she apologized and took everyone's orders (2 adults, 4 kids) after waiting exactly 1 hour for the food she tells me that it's almost done ‍ we just walked out because the kids were starving and our food wasn't even ready. so I've never been to Denny's before since Jersey has so many diners that Denny's isn't needed, but on this road trip down to Florida and back up, Denny's was all I saw! So..I gave it a shot. I went and used the bathroom first and was SO disappointed that the tissue paper roll dispenser was on the floor broken with the tissue paper roll inside of it. Ew. wtf LOL BUT! When I ordered my food, despite the service being a bit slow, the waitress Amber was a DELIGHT! Super friendly and willing to help however she could. The food was cheap and not bad at all! I got the 55+ omelete, my sister got the Country Fried Steak, my mom got the skillet, my sister got the burger and my dad got the soup! Oh with 2 sodas and a smoothie, the total came out to be only $50!! Whatta steal! I wouldn't say that this place was the best diner I've been too but it was definitely worth the pit stop and price. read more

Well, grease like I have never seen before. Every thing was greasy. Service sucked. Slow slow slow. And seriously not a single person had any personality. This place is horrible. The server was more interested in talking on the phone. The cook couldn't cook more than one order at a time. The manager? Was there one there? Wow, the stars alone explain this hot mess. My daughter and I came to eat and what do you know. Not one person came to seat us or greet us. The three of them looked at me and my 7 year old daughter and looked down as if they have to work. Two people were out front as well. Look at the cameras at 6:20ish and watch two people walk in twice and not get greeted. And you all want minimum wage to go up? What a joke. Needs new management. read more

Miserable experience. This is my third and last visit! I don't normally give negative reviews, however, this location at the Flying J Travel Plaza has worked hard for this review. It starts with the less than welcoming entrance. No acknowledgement of my arrival other than the reception grabbed a menu and signaled for me to follow her. I felt like I was bothering her. Two of the three servers were mainly standing around talking (complaining) while an older server was hustling to get customers attended to. It was cold in the restaurant and a 'could care less' attitude by staff to help customers. my coffee quickly went cold, my french fries were just warm and got cold very quickly and the air blowing from the vent was cold and strong enough to dry my eyes out. Many patrons complained about the cold and strength of air blowing from the vents. The staff met this with a dismissal "I can't do anything about it" snotty retort. Some patrons were able to relocate themselves to a more comfortable location. I wasn't one of the lucky ones to be able to find a more comfortable location. Totally disappointed! Christmas Day. They had 11 employs that I counted and 10 guest. And was turning people away at 3:pm. Food was twenty five minute's delivering over 20 minutes. I have never seen a bigger, for the lack of better words, shit show. We waited over 30 minutes to get our drinks and 1 hour for our food. They have multiple tables that are open, yet none of which are clean. The sign says "wait for host to be seated" well we were waiting 20mins and none of the employees looked at my family. I was very disgusted by that. We are huge tippers, and just wanted to eat. My daughter who is 19months old got overlooked, I guess. Terrible service. Had to leave before the order ever came cause the girls attitude was awful! I asked for a water with lemon and got a water with a lemon seed at the bottom and gunk all up in the cup! So I asked for another water and she brought one with no lemon and when I asked for lemon she proceeded to do everything else except get me a lemon. We decided to leave and I told her, nicely, that we were gonna go. If I could give this Denny's no stars, I would. Coming all the way from up north, we stopped for gas and decided to get breakfast since Denny's was in the area. Upon walking into the store, I was not greeted, instead I had to go to the employee and placed my order. The food took 30 minutes to be prepared, this was early in the morning no one was in this location at the time I was there. I asked the employee when my food would be ready, she didn't even answer me. I almost lost my ride because of this bad service. Also, the manager had to tell the cook to put her mask on. The food was not what I ordered, the french fries was barely fried with a dash of seasoning on top. The pancakes, the blueberry tasted like they were picked out in the wild. This Denny's is in a gas station so I expected it would be fast paced. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a wait when we arrived because there was only 1 cook who had not taken a break the entire day and was definitely overworked. Shorty, our server was pleasant and attentive, despite the wait. Crystal was awesome and quickly stepped up and took action to cook my family's meals. The food was excellent. I enjoyed the best tasting Brisket melt I have ever had. It was definitely worth the wait. read more

What should you expect from a Dennys at a gas station? Let me tell you nothing much! Asked for lemon with my tea ..lemon was old and dried out. Ordered a BLT with cheese and onion with potato soup. Bacon was tasteless...I mean how could that be? When the waitress brought out our food she gave me a side of onion. Could they not put it on the sandwich in the kitchen. It gave me an opprotunity to see that the red onion was old dried out as well. I do not think I will be visiting another Dennys. read more

on our way to Florida and decided to stop here. That was a mistake. The only thing that was hot was the appetizer. One of our meals was not the correct item. The waitress was more worried about her baby daddy (her words) than she was about taking care of her customers. She never once came back to the table after we got our food except to bring silverware. that I had to ask for. Then when she brought the check she just placed it on the table as she was talking to another waitress that was saying she wished she had the money to give her but her car payment was due she had to pay 90 a week. As we were paying our check a customer let one of the waitresses know there was vomit at the entrance outside. That waitress said it wasn't her no job to clean it up. We were there in the parking lot for at least another 15 minutes before we were on our way and no one had cleaned up the vomit. If you want to be ignored, get the wrong food, get cold food then this is the place for you to go. read more

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS DENNY'S!!!!! We stopped at this Denny's this morning for Breakfast. The bad reviews are true. The service started off ok. But the cook started screaming the "F" word at another Denny's employee in the kitchen area. The rant she went into was absolutely appalling. The only positive thing was that there were no children in the area. I have never witnessed a pathetic behavior like that in a restaurant in my life. That cook has no business handling food for human consumption. Between the swearing and beating the spatula on the grill we got our fill of her ignorance. I told our waitress that I'd pay for the 2 cups of coffee. But there was no way that we'd eat any food prepared by that cook. If she didn't get fired, her and the Manager both need to go. We stopped into this Denny's after driving 30 miles from the nearest location (which was horrid), there was again no hostess, and when a waitress was finally able to come over to the front desk she informed us (very politely) that it would be a 45 minute to 1 hour wait because they were short staffed. this denny's is honestly the worst i've ever been too. i mobile ordered my food at 9:45 and didn't receive it 10:40 i asked the waitress multiple times if my order was ready and she always said "no it's not ready yet". I even gave her the name on the order and the contents in order all while there was a to go order sitting there on the table waiting. i asked her if it was mine and she said no i proceeded to wait 20 minutes after that then she asked me my name and the order was actually mine aside from that i didn't get my drinks and the silverware in the bags were opened ive never recieved such bad service and couldnt receive my food in a timely manner. It would've been different because i understand sometimes restaraunts are busy but they were not busy and the service was plain terrible and the servers were rude overall NEVER go to this dennys and save your money read more
