Green sandwich didn't disappoint! The salad sides were great too

Wonderful sandwich stop as we passed through on a roadtrip. The ingredients tasted fresh and the service was fast and friendly! Very clean bathrooms. They also serve homemade popcorn.

My lunch Cuban w/ potato salad

Found this place we quaint, it's not a large deli for inside seating. I had the Cuban restaurant the place seems to be steadily busy, which is good by the Local. I had the Cuban sandwich and potato salad. 7 out of 10 for food, quality, and quantity. Atmosphere of the restaurant open, friendly.7 out of 10, my server was delightful 7 out of 10... it's very close to the interstate for Easy hop on and hop off.

French dip and chips

Quick, quality deli along your road trip! I had the French Dip and it was great. It's not very trendy in style, but hits at classic Americana vibe. The service was fast for the lunch rush, and everything came out hot and fresh. I love hitting unique roadside spots over chain fast food. I saw many locals coming in for take-outs. Use cash to avoid card fees. Cheers!

The amazing dish

This place is amazing... I got the pork chops deep fried with Brussels spouted covered in teriyaki and well cooked with a lil black on them how I love it with fries two beers and and amazing cheese cake crème brûlée and let me tell you for lunch it was phenomenal.... The Daw it Dawm was my bar tender she was sweet very attentive I love this place its hidden but well worth it when you find it ... thank you guys see you next time

Breakfast egg sandwich on croissant.

We stayed in the area for a golf trip and there was no place on our drive for breakfast. Stopped here from yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint. Great breakfast sandwich. Went back the next day and got their Rueben. Also very good. Service is great take out is good and you can even eat there if you need to.

Outside sign... not far off highway.

I had very high hopes... I come from a land where the word "deli" means something a bit different. This place is a diner more than a deli. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and asked for Swiss cheese be included. The sandwich was ok but came out with American cheese which I'd rather nome if no Swiss. There was way too much mustard... The chicken noodle soup was very tasty. Yes, I'm being nitpicky but again, had high hopes in this local sea of junky fast food chains. I might have given a 3 star but the woman hosting and taking take out orders was very nice and thoughtful. Inside had a bit of a eclectic seating area and Fox News playing on the TV. They call out their pride for Pres. T.

Stopped in Santee for gas and to walk the dogs on the long drive back to NY and needed to grab some lunch. Not wanting the same crappy fast food we eagerly went in to try this spot out. The sandwiches are really good and everything was fresh. Cute little spot inside with tables to eat, nice clean bathrooms, and fast friendly service make this a really nice alternative to the fast food chains surrounding it. Give it a try!

Strange taste when ate salad- the cucumbers were rancid. The chicken salad was very tasty.

Thought I would be getting a New York style sandwich, but noooooo, not at all. Also found the TRUMP sign very off-putting. Really ?

Justin was our server and he actually greeted us outside. We did not wait more than 2 minutes before someone greeted us at the host stand and actually apologized for making us wait! As we were walking to our table, we noticed the fireplace going and it had real wood! It was so cozy! Justin approached us not long after and offered us to order drinks. We ordered waters, wine, and beer. So the last time we dined at Cracker Barrel was almost 11 years ago because we became deathly ill. The last time, I do not believe they served alcohol so we were surprised seeing it on the menu. Our drinks were delivered quickly and Justin offered us to order dinner. Hubs ordered the Country Fried Turkey with mac and cheese and hashbrown casserole. I ordered the Country Vegetable Plate with green beans, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and hashbrown casserole. Justin came back later and informed us there was only enough hashbrown casserole for one of us so he said I could order a side salad for no extra charge-sweet! Our food arrived not too long after and the salad was massive! Very fresh too! The Hashbrown casserole was good, everything else was okay but not magnificent. When we went to checkout, there were people taking way too long while their f'in kids were causing havoc in the store so we paid by using the QR code on the receipt. Our check was $45, which was pretty decent for 2 meals, 2 beers, and 1 wine. Oh but there were charges for getting apple butter and having a mix of biscuits and cornbread- was not aware of that when ordering. The bathroom was as clean as it could be but definitely needs to be upgraded. Best part of all, we did not get sick! We will be back if we are in the area again.
