Food - Pancakes, turkey bacon, eggs - The pancakes are soft and fluffy. The butter tasted a bit synthetic. The turkey bacon was burnt. The over medium eggs were still runny on the inside. The take out container was interesting. I liked how the food was separated to keep the pancakes soft and fluffy. Atmosphere - The restaurant itself smelled a little weird. I wonder if it had anything to do with the restroom. They had the restroom door propped open at the time I went. No music playing when I visited. I liked that. I prefer no music over loud music. I don't like loud music. It's hard to hear with loud music. I did not visit the restroom. It was empty inside. Eventually a couple came by to get food. Service - There were about two employees. The service here was quick once the employees showed up. Order and pay at the register for take out. No self seating. They bring the food out to you. Parking - Surface parking lot. Take out only dedicated spots available. No parking meter or parking structures. Unique - I have never seen a two layered take out container. Saw an A health rating on Yelp.

Jules what's amazing! Made my son's birthday perfect. Definitely ask for Jules! My son had the best time!

Didn't even order coffee, but the mug told me COFFEE IS LIFE... so I guess my TEA is living its best life.

Review for Amanda & Maria Mariiiiaaa! at Denny's I've been coming to this Denny's for over 10 years, and the main reason I keep coming back is the people -- especially Amanda, one of the most reliable veteran waitresses you'll ever meet. I first met her when I moved into the apartments down the road with no cooking utensils at all, so I was here for breakfast and dinner almost every day. From day one, Amanda treated me like family. She checked on me, remembered my usual order, and made those early days in a new place feel a lot less isolated. She's been a friend ever since, and she brings that same steady kindness to everyone she serves. And then there's Maria -- Mariiiaa! "She reminds me of a Westside Storyyy" -- but she's the chef/cook holding down the kitchen. If you've ever walked into Denny's at 4:45 AM, barely awake, and seen Maria smiling from the back, you know what real hospitality looks like. She makes sure the food is hot, correct, and prepared with care. That kind of energy at that hour is rare. This Denny's isn't just a place to eat -- it's a place where people like Amanda and Maria make you feel welcomed, remembered, and respected. That's why I've been coming here for a decade, and why my friend Grant is celebrating 22 years of coming here today. It's the people that make the difference, and that's why I'll keep coming back.

We got the Chicken Tinga Nachos as an appetizer and it was a perfect amount for the 4 of us. I got a burger and it was pretty delish. One thing I will say is their sweet potato fries definitely do not taste fresh, I'd guess they are frozen/sysco but what else do ya expect nowadays? We got the s'mores pizookie for dessert and I really enjoyed it. It's baked to order so it takes a little bit but I thought it was worth it. And if that's not your thing, Menchies is right next door and always a treat. Tons of games and such and they even had trivia on the TV. Just a really great neighbourhood spot!

Everything seemed fresh and the presentation was on point as well. The service was good and for a large party, she was polite, friendly and mostly on top of things The bad- and I'm willing to take some of the responsibility on this one. We had a party and booked it for outside, as we were told they have misters and it's in the shade and very doable. Part of that was correct- their misters weren't working. There was no real attempt to move us inside, other than splitting up a birthday party across the restaurant. The main issue is that no one told us- I had to go inside and ask why they aren't on. Not a great look, but I'll be back to try them again.

The bathroom and entire establishment if very modern and sophisticated while maintaining a comfortable casual atmosphere. The service was wonderful, very attentive. I do wish I could remember the name of our server, but she really was great. And the hostess did a wonderful job of seating us with four under four and four adults. The patio seating was surprisingly comfortable for how hot it's been outside. The food was good. A fun and impressive cocktail menu, however since I don't drink I had the privilege of gaining my calories in some great appetizers. (BACON WRAPPED DATES) The kids breakfast was simple, but my kids complained they didn't like the eggs and potatoes because they tasted like nothing, and they were right. So for other kids it's might be just right for them, too, however if your kids have tastebuds, the sweet treats and meatballs do the trick (very garlicky meatballs for me) It was lovely and fun to visit the market afterwards too.

There is plenty of bar space if you're popping in for a drink.. of course, the actual bar that runs along the shelves of liquor, and there is also a bar on the other side of a roll-up door, perfect for people who come with dogs. There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Cocktails were made well, I'd come back and try others. Our friends suggested The Hudson which worked for me, it's been sitting on my list for a while. Bar food was pretty good. Next time I'll try a burger since people like them a lot in reviews, and I love a good burger. This visit we had the carne asada cheesesteak with some onion rings and boneless wings. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. Making it feel somewhat self service but I'm sure we tipped like full service. And at first we were trying to figure out the menu, where to order, and apparently we had a learning curve that night. Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.

Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one.
