Meeting up with friends after an event here as I had basketball on the brain. Parking is easy and they have plenty of indoor & patio space to easily accommodate large groups if you're coming in for a game or just to chill with friends. Frozen margaritas to drink for me, and I placed an order for some chicken wings. I split them & went with lemon pepper (or garlic) , other half a golden type sauce. Drinks were good, but the chicken wings were a mixed experience for me. The drummettes were pretty tough, and the flat portions didn't really hold the flavor well. Rubbery feeling when eating. I was hoping for a better balance of texture and seasoning. They were made to order, so maybe more to do with the quality of wings. Our server was great and checked in on us frequently (we were a party of 5). Other items ordered were cauliflower fries, fried pickles & greek salad. I tasted some of each, and they were cool. This is definitely a sports bar with all the bells and whistles. I honestly do not think that there is a bad seat in the house. They have massive TVS throughout. Each booth has their own TV. The staff was amazing, very attentive to our party of 5. The food was entered and was presented at the table in a timely fashion. I tried the fried pickles. They looked like French fries, but they were pickles. And fried to perfection! I also tried lemon pepper wings as well as Buffalo wings and they was cooked to order. Stopped in with some friends for some food and drinks. There's tvs everywhere so you're sure to be able to see a game from anywhere in the building The food was a little disappointing for me. Surprisingly they did not have any Hefeweizens/wheat beers so I went with a blonde ale. I ordered the fried buffalo cauliflower, which was pretty good, but the portion was on the small side. Came by after a long day at Arizona Matsuri and was glad this place is open later even on a Sunday. The waitress was friendly and checked on us from time to time while we sat outside. The late night eats menu had some decent options. I ended up getting the lemon pepper wings and basket of rings. The wings were juicy and had a good amount of seasoning. The rings were crispy and tasted great. We also shared a side of tater tots which were crispy and not overly salted. This the first time I have decide to write a review on Philly's. It seems that this establishment is heading downhill. One of the main reasons we enjoyed Philly's was they HAD sold Dos Equis Amber on tap. But they no longer sell this.. However, we do like their cheese bread & pizzas. My friend and I decided to head to Philly's on 7.3.26. Originally, we had started at 4Peaks in Tempe, but there was a 30-minute wait & they were down a few servers. So, we decided to go to our Plan B/standby: Philly's. There was no waiting when we got there & we were able to find a good spot to enjoy the HH. This is where it started going downhill. Our server; Laylen advised us that Philly's was out of pizza dough since Tuesday. One of the other reasons we like this place is because of the cheese bread & the pizzas. We wondered how can you have no dough for the 4th of July weekend? We were dumbfounded. So, we had to think of something else to order. My 2nd choice was tacos. I wanted the hard shells for the tacos, but they don't have them. My 3rd choice was the pretzel bites. But Laylen informed us, that they don't have them anymore, only the big Bavarian pretzels (which you can buy in Costco or Sam's - which are nasty), even though the pretzel bites are listed on the HH menu. Could we be even more disappointed We thought about going back to 4Peaks, but we decided to make the best of it. My friend ordered a burger & I had the chicken strips. If it wasn't for our server; Laylen, we would have left and went back to 4Peaks. She understood how we felt & we eventually all had a good laugh. But Management needs to step up its game. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason not have pizza dough for 4 days (& more) and going into a holiday weekend. I hope this is a wake-up call & learning experience for Philly's or they can become one of those businesses that failed due to poor management. Very Disappointed Keith read more

Sportsbar or Disco? Came to watch the Cubs and Hurricane games during happy hour. Couldn't get the games on idle TVs that were showing a Michael Jordan documentary and a historic Duke basketball game. The sports broadcast was shut down and switched to high volume music - that didn't seem to match the demographic of the crowd. Disappointing. The food delivered cold and for two of us, was pretty poor quality. Later - TVs were offline, no broadcast (or horrible music) and off we go. I'll be back for lunch but we won't be coming back for happy hour or dinner. Unbelievably disappointing. read more

My husband and I Love coming here. Darker booth tables and Each booth table has a screen tv that you can control if you like that. TV's all around for viewing funnies/ major sports events/ and you can ask to change to a specific station for those high up TV screens. A bar is set up/ Service is Always Great:) Food is Really Good! It hits the spot! We also love the outdoor availability seating too. The booths provide more of an intimate setting with a partner or even up to 6 people. Comfortably 4 big people too! I have visited this location many times over the past decade as it's in my neighborhood but never again. We ordered through Door Dash for pickup so I walked to the bar for pickup like I have numerous times before. Waited about 5 minutes to be acknowledged and not because the 2 bartenders were busy with customers but talking to each other. They couldn't find my order so I looked it up and a guy came over and we saw it was from a different location. It didn't need to be a big deal I was looking for what location as he said on Elliott. I drive Elliott everyday and have never seen it. He walked away than came back to tell me it's not his job to do my job since I was a "dasher" I told him I was a patron who ordered pickup through door dash. Seeing how he treated the same person differently based on who they thought they were was hugely disappointing. I asked his name Dominick and then for a manager and he said it was him. Given this I believe that Phillys needs to take a hard look at who they place in management roles. If his customer service skills are what the company want to model. If so there are bigger issues. Again all because we ordered from the wrong location our fault but then as I try to find the correct location he gets aggressive, raises his voice all because I was looking up the correct location by not believing it truly was on Elliot like he said. In the end it isn't on Elliott but McClintock just south of Elliott. Long time patron to never return because of the lack of customer service skills by the manager Dominick. Can't support a place that treats people so poorly or recommend it to anyone else. read more

This is a nice Philly's and is on par/on-brand with other ones I've patronized in the Valley. If you go enough to become a regular, you'll become familiarized with their staff- it doesn't really change much. Most of the regulars live in the neighborhood or relatively close to it (...have walked there myself a few times). It's your usual sports bar- no frills here. There's TVs around, some mini TVs in the booths, all which carry all sports. Sometimes they'll show PPV fights on the weekends which usually means there's a cover charge. They offer Jack Trivia on Tuesdays which starts around 7p. Philly's has unfortunately had to increase their prices in the last few years so depending on what you order, it's more costly (wings & sliders in particular for me). The wings though are some of the best in the Valley- their hot honey sauce is bar none. They do offer daily happy hour and a reverse happy hour on the weekends for select menu and drink items. Sometimes service is a little meh, but it depends on time of day and who your server is. read more

Never seen a place that has a personal TV at each booth, until Jimi went to Phillys. I wonder what other things restaurant booths have been missing. A mini fridge would be a nice touch. Came here for the Super Bowl and even though the verdict wasn't what we wanted the atmosphere was great, drinks and food were served quickly and I was surrounded by the best fans in the NFL! Definitely recommend visiting on Sundays if you're an Eagles fan. read more

Nice clean bar bartenders where ok not real chatty food was ok but literally not good enough to take left overs. Ate 2 bites and was done. Bloody Mary was good except it was naked I asked the bartender to put something's in it he put in lemons lime and orange and 2 olives. Wtf! He said they make their own Bloody Mary mix but I saw a Bloody Mary mix in the fridge in front of my seat. SMH but hey the drink itself was good but the toppings yeah No! Not even a celery stick. Wow - what Atrocious service. Ordered a burger and fries with an extra side of cole-slaw. I guess the girl behind the bar must have forgotten to enter the order because when I asked her after 45 minutes where my order was, she went to check, but never got back to me. When the order finally came through after another 20 minutes, she had gotten it wrong and forgotten the fries. I pointed out that the fries were missing to another bar-lady and the fries came about 5mins later, but then there was no silver-ware; so, I asked the first bar-lady if I could have some. She walked off and started chatting with 4 young guys at the end of the bar, but never returned. After approx. 5 mins I went off to look for silverware. I couldn't find any, but I asked another waitress, and she brought some over to me a few minutes later. The lady behind the bar was still talking to the 4 guys at the end of the bar and had forgotten my request. At this point I was truly angry at the atrocious service. I asked to see the manager (Called Dom). I explained what had happened, but he did not offer any reasons for the bad service. I paid the bill and left without eating the food since I was so angry at some of the worst service I have seen and didn't want to lose my cool.... :-( read more

Dropped my friends Son off here as the game was playing. SUNS Nice location, outdoor seating, Tvs all in viewing mode... food appetizing and a great place to converse. I was surprised to not see it crowded but the location is sorda hidden, in my opinion... it's right off of the highway but in a strip mall which, I've noticed that bars located in strip malls that are not separated from the outdoor strip malls, tend to not be as noticeable. I've driven passed here a million times and never noticed this being here until today years old. It's a sports grill and bar so nothing much else to report other then... They automatically add a 2% credit card fee when bringing your tab without asking you before if you're paying with cash or card. Deceptive! If you're paying with cash you have to wait for the server to come back and tell them to remove it or just overpay by 2%. What a shameful money grab! read more

This was our 3rd visit to Philly's. As in the past, warm and friendly staff with great food. I had the cheeseburger basket which came with my choice of fries or cole slaw. I had the later as I expected to steal some of my wife's fries with her Chicken Philly which she loved. My meal was delicious. This is one of my favorite bars in Phoenix! Especially to do trivia. Was in the neighborhood a few days ago and decided to pop in for some wings. Their wings are in the upper echelon of all wings I've EVER had! If you get them tossed and then finished on the grill and then tossed again, they're AMAZING! We ordered the Garlic buffalo and honey hot wings that way and they're sooooo good. Garlic buffalo is my fave. Can't wait to get back for more wings! read more
