They can be kind of slow at times and since we are vegan, we sometimes get dirty looks for asking for special changes, but we love coming here with our kids. We get the veggie burger and they are usually good at accommodating for our way of eating! It is a great option when we are feeling like being fancy. read more

While passing thru Thatcher, AZ, we thought we would stop by Denny's for a quick, late lunch. We both ordered biscuits and gravy thinking that would be quick. 30 minutes later, I asked the server if biscuits and gravy usually takes 30 minutes. He said they were busy that's why it's taking so long. Didn't appear so to me but okay. 10 minutes later the food arrives. The biscuits and gravy we're good. However, the eggs in the hash brown were ice cold. I'm glad we were just passing through. I've had very good experiences at Denny's before but the store has a lot of work to do. read more

I like Denny's, but it's never my first choice. I usually always ask to go to a different restaurant if anyone recommend Denny's. It's not a bad restaurant or anything, but their food, and customer service, is decent, but nothing special. Their breakfast taste like breakfast, their lunch taste like lunch, and so on. If I'm hungry, and can't find any other breakfast place nearby I would definitely go here. If not, I'll look for a different place to eat. Overall: Denny's is okay. read more

I have to be honest, if it weren't for our sweet waiter - I probably would've only given 2 stars. The food was OK...My poor chicken friend steak skillet was ruined by the dirty-tasting onions on it. But I can say that I have never had my drink refilled so quickly (I actually ended up with like 8 drinks around me before I left). The food was sub par, but I was thoroughly hydrated. PS. The food is always great at Denny's, however, the service can be pretty slow. It totally depends on the time you go. As a waitress myself of 4 years, I have never left a bad review for restaurants usually because I cut our server some slack (I understand the struggle). However this was the worst restaurant service I have ever had. My boyfriend, his friend and I walked into this Denny's at 1:45am on a Saturday night. When we walked in, there was maybe 3-4 tables with about 2-4 people a table. We weren't sat until 15 (2am) minutes later. Our waitress didn't come to take our drink orders until 15 minutes after that and since she took so long we had already decided what we wanted to order so we ordered our food with a round of waters. After waiting 30 minutes for waters and pancakes, we left. I have never waited a half hours for water... WATER. We were so livid we informed our server and we just left. Who doesn't love some breakfast for dinner from time to time, well besides here and Jerry's these are the only two in town that I know of that will allow you to get your fix. So with that being said, this place is a total crap shoot on whether you will get good service or bad service. Very inconsistent in that regard, sometimes it is prompt and the food arrives at an expected and reasonable time, other times we have left because we were seated and it took a waiter more than fifteen minutes to get our drink order in. This could be expected if the house was packed but it was an early Friday afternoon and was pretty much dead so we left instead. Other than that the food is pretty much standard Denny's chow. Been here 45 minutes and counting. Waited 15 minutes for our server to acknowledge us and then another 10 for our drinks. Not sure how long the food will end up taking. Service itself is non existent just got an update and at 46 minutes the food is just now starting to be made. It was busy when we first got here but have been here and it's been busier and still had better service. There are not many options here if there were we would not come back. Only giving it 1 star because I have to. I went on November 2nd, 2019 and the waitress during the graveyard shift was rude. We waited around 45 min - 1 hr for waters and we didn't even get those. We just wanted waters. I understand that my party was fairly large (18 people) but we were in town for a wedding and all went to high school together. Very rude and if I ever come back to Thatcher, I will not be eating at this establishment. We weren't even acknowledged once we sat down and waited around until I said something. Morgan Hill location. Food was not as good as it has been at other Denny's. The service was terrible. My food server was too wrapped up in her personal business. I had to keep asking, more than once sometimes for water, refill of my beverage, My toast which was served when I was almost done with my meal. There aren't quite a lot of quality choices to eat in Thatcher and Safford but you can't go wrong with this Denny's along Highway 70. They're not a grungy Denny's by any means also. And best of all, they have a steak salad that has some really high quality beef rather than just "freezer beef." read more

This used to be a pretty standard Denny's with good service and descent food. In the past few months, the service and quality have really gone downhill. My visits were about a month or more apart. I had hoped it would have improved since I heard there was new management. I was sorely disappointed. Literally everything I got like refills, coffee creamer, Tabasco etc, I had to ask for. They didn't even have coffee cups, they had to wait for them to come out of the washer. Last time they didn't have coffee made. The place was not very busy so that wasn't the reason. My hope is that corporate will hear enough complaints or the owners see their revenues drop enough to come in fix things. read more

Found a piece of hair COOKED into my eggs, told one of the waitresses and the manager comes over dogs her finger into my food pulls out the hair and tells me it's mine just cuz it's curly and my hair was curly at the time. I ordered the salmon skillet the salmon was too small and it smelled terrible, like it was bad, and I PICKED it up and BANGED it against my plate, it was that hard. and I couldn't cut through it. I had one bite and spit it back on my plate I ate the veggies and stuff that was on the plate. also I got a strawberry milkshake and the glass was still dirty like they didn't wash it. and the waiter never came to fill our drinks. and my girls burger wasn't even cooked all the way. so we ended up leaving hungry! and 30 bucks short. so would I ever eat there again? NEVER. update I have an upset stomach and my guts twisting up. I think I got food poisoning. My wife and 2 of my 5 grandchildren were staying in Thatcher Az. I have been eating at Denny's for most of my life. I've had great service as well as armpit service. I was actually surprised after reading a couple of reviews regarding this resturaunt in Thatcher Az. I found the service very good.Waitress name was Aargn and the manager on duty was Noah Voss. We ordered 2 ultimate skillets, 1 sampler, 1 cheese stix, 1 mashed potatoes as well as 2 cold drinks and 2 coffee's. The resturaunt was clean and bathrooms maintained. I love dennys food it's always good! But unfortunately this is the worst dennys I have ever been to it literally took 2 hours of our visit today. We waited about 20-30 min. For a server and I actually had to go and get someone to help us because nobody was helping our table. Plus after waiting for our server our food takes about an hour to serve us.
