The server was very nice - the cook was all outta pocket. The first chicken bacon ranch sandwich had a nice sized breast, but was undercooked and pink in the middle. I sent it back and server came back saying it would take a little while longer because cook had re-dropped undercooked pieces and she asked him for a totally new fillet. She brought me the extra fries from the 1st re-cook attempt and I greatly appreciated it at I was really hungry. When she brought out the new sandwich, the fillet was much smaller and appeared to be the original pieces that were double fried. I didn't send it back as I was already pressed for time and needed to get rolling - plus, it appeared the cook was already upset that he had to remake the order, so I didn't want to chance anything else from the kitchen - I had mentioned to the server that I might get the apple crisp dessert, yet, with her bringing the bill and not asking if i still wanted it pretty much told me that the cook didn't want the bother of the 10-min prep of the pie. 3 stars for the great service - thanks... My wife, grandson, and I had drove 8 hrs and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Before hitting the hotel, it was late nite early morning. Wife order crape breakfast w eggs and sausage you see the pics it looked worse in person. Slimmy strawberry's, undercooked, cold, and no powdered sugar. The sausage tasted funny.. now my order .. I asked if she could suggest a plate so I could get 3 eggs bacon and 3 biscuits as I wanted biscuits egg sandwiches. The biscuits were undercooked and soggy. I showed Her how soggy they were, and she got in a huff and took the plate back to the kitchen. 2 minutes later, she re-appeared with the same food. It looked as if the cook placed them on the grill to dry them out.. I did try one, but the biscuits were still wet/soggy and cold in the middle. I explained that this was just not eatable. She told me the oven was broken, so this is why they can not cook biscuits...so i ask why you sold them to me. We were told when we arrived No Lasagna.no Cinnamon packcae rolls, no soup, no t bone steaks. Also, I need to mention I had also asked for American cheese on my eggs, but cheddar was used and very little. I was informed NO AMERICAN CHEESE, but I was told after it was served to me, and I asked why there was no cheese. I had bitten one egg sandwich and said I'll pay for the one but I did not feel I should pay for the food they can't or could not make properly she told me she would give me a senior discount. This restaurant needs new dining room management. I feel it's appropriate for me to make that judgment as I spent years as a server and in dining room management. This location suffers from a severe lack of customer service as so many businesses do now. No one cares. No one taught these kids (adults) that the customer walking through the door is their livelihood and their nr 1 job is to take care of that customer. Repeat business is everything. Thanks for the to go order of burnt apple crisp w/the heavy goo of caramel sauce (which was touted as a light garnish) overmicrowaved into a blob. The melted liquid ice cream in cups sitting on top of the molten lava was perfection when we arrived 10 mins after we called the order in. I appreciate that you took note of my request to store the ice cream separately in foam cups so it would not melt and yet decided your way of serving liquid ice cream was much better. read more

I arrived at this Denny's location late in the evening after having driving all day from Houston, continuing to Lubbock. We came here as we have done for several trips, and per the request of my fiancé and his father. We sat down shortly before ten, by a very soft-spoken server. She served us our drinks, but it took several times before we were able to get cream for coffee. When we finally ordered, she told us that they were out of soup, which was disappointing for my fiancé who didn't want much to eat. His father ordered, and she had to come back twice to have him repeat it because she didn't know how to serve the eggs, or the meat. When the food arrived it looked fine. My father in law received the wrong kind of meat, but didn't want to complain. My fiancé requested sour cream, and when he requested more when she brought a small amount, she told him that was all there was left. My father in law asked to speak to a manager, and when she arrived, she did not introduce herself, only stood in front of the table. He told her that he felt it was ridiculous that a restaurant did not have soup nor sour cream. Her response was in the worst tone I had ever heard from a manager of a restaurant, even after six years of working in food service. She interrupted him, and my father in law told her to wait because he wasn't finished. When she spoke she said in the worst attitude, "We don't serve soup after ten. Its in the menu, so we don't serve it, it was after ten when he ordered, so he can't have it". In response to the sour cream, she said "Our dairy truck comes tomorrow", with an inflection that implied that it is our fault we cannot have it. When my fiancé told her to stop speaking in that attitude, she motioned to his father saying "Well he has an attitude with me". I told her that I worked in food service for six years, and her attitude was unprofessional and unbecoming. I said she needed to apologize, because she was being inappropriate. She apologized to me, but no one else at the table, after showing us in the menu that it said soup is not served after ten PM. This was abhorrent service, the worst I received in any Denny's location. If this is what passes for adequate service at a Denny's location, I would not return. In conclusion, food is fine to eat, but the service is sickening. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat earlier and I must say it was one of my best expletive had eating out in a long time. Our server, bless her heart, despite the number of tables she was responsible for, she gave excellent service. I was very impressed, her service despite her work load was above and beyond. I ordered the veggie omelette light and my husband ordered the ultimate omelette.
