Visiting family inn the area and this was the choice for breakfast. One of the smallest Dennys I've ever been to. Staff was friendly but slow. Drinks were never refilled and extra napkins never showed up. Food was simple and tasty. One thing i hate is wait staff who don't write down you're order. Of course some meals were incorrect. No Salt & Pepper at the table. Some tables were dirty and the busy lady was to busy trying to clear are plates even tho we weren't finished eating. I ordered food online for curbside pickup. I was on my day off and come to pickup the food during the window of time they said it would be ready. I parked in the curbside parking spot and called the number to notify them that I had arrived. Well, no one answered that number at all. I called repeatedly and this is the same number as the store phone number so, when no one answered the curbside line, there was no recourse to speak with anyone. Mind you, I am literally in my PJs, no bra, house slippers. When I went into the store to get some help, no one was around. I got back in my car and waited a few more minutes, and then went back inside once again. Then I said, I have a curbside order and went back to my car. The entire purpose of curbside is to not have to leave your vehicle. There were people dining in the restaurant and I was humiliated. Waitresses that were working, were very kind and helped me once they knew that I was there, but when I asked to speak with a supervisor, all the they could do was take down my information and have someone call me back. Spoiler alert, no one ever got back with me. On top of all of that, what I ordered had a description on the website that was different than what I got, and I did not like it. I planned on bringing this up when a manager called me back, but that never happened. They made my day off breakfast into a very frustrating and humiliating experience for me. Not because I asked for something that wasn't offered to me, just because of poor management. Honestly, this was such an unnecessarily, frustrating experience. Management needs to do better. If they weren't the only Denny's they would soon be out of business. I prefer Denny's over IHOP but the service at IHOP is so much better. At least they can manage to do a curbside pick up. read more

Few years ago my wife and I ate here and I really gashed it. Place smelled, had bad service and food was so so at best. Today we tried it again because spouse was really hungry and hasn't eaten all day. We'd heard this place has improved a little so we thought we'd try it. Well that was a lie. This place has improved LOTS!! Fast friendly service. I had chorizo plate and spouse had Grand Slam. Kaylee was out server and she was outstanding. Veterans discount. I drove an hour to get to this location to claim my birthday slam. They told me to make sure I have the QR code but when I went there to get it they refused to let me claim it because I didn't want to dine in because I have severe anxiety and ptsd. We love Denny's! I use to go out late all the time and this would be the go to place after a night out. I love their meat lover's scramble. I get that every time and their pancakes are delicious too! I'm also in love with their late night specials! Definitely a great place to go if you're craving breakfast food or just want to meet up for a quick chat. They recently renovated the place a year or so ago so the place doesn't look as beat up anymore. I will recommend you go before 1-5am Friday-Sunday because that's then they drunken party crews stop in to munch... The service is always great too! And it's right by the house, and that is a plus when you just don't want to cook! read more

Came in around 11pm on a Monday night in October. Not a soul here but me and my band. Food came out hot, drinks stayed full, and it tasted like Denny's food is supposed to taste. So yeah, not bad. In my opinion, I'd just stop by a Wal-Mart and get some groceries. read more

Arrived @ 3:20 on Sunday afternoon. Only one other table of customers in the restaurant. They sat us next to the kitchen. We had 7 adults and two children. Waitress completely skipped my husband's order, called her back from kitchen and he ordered. Two orders came out wrong, one order did not come out at all. After getting all of our food and getting an earful of the cussing in the kitchen, we never saw our waitress again. The food was great and so was the service. The kids menus/activity book and crayons were great for the kids. It kept the kids busy while we waited for our food. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind the next time we are passing through Tyler and need a place to eat. read more

This was a very unclean restaurant, we saw multiple roaches. My daughter ordered bacon and it had a hair on it. When we told our waitress she took the bacon walked around the seat barrier (about 30 feet away), removed the hair and brought the same bacon back. When i told her that that was the same bacon she yelled at me and said "NO IT'S NOT!" So we Told another waitress and she brought us new bacon. We'll never eat there again. read more

Really upset with this Denny's as we will never be going back! This service was not great & in paying I used my AARP card for our Senior Citizen discounts! When paying the machine now tells you what you need to pay as a tip! This is outrageous! If I wanted to leave a tip it certainly would not have been for the amounts that the machine calculates! People on SS don't have the amounts they ask for! Also are these amounts calculated before tax or on the total bill? I don't tip on tax, as you know is already ridiculous! HAIR IN MY FOOD I took my family out to eat last night at this denny's for the hamburgers we came in around 9:00pm on january24 '14 We come in ask what time they close she says we are open 24hrs. They sit us at a table every thing is going good we order three of there burgers, people start coming in. It didn't take them long on the food, she serves us our food and my husbands burger is missing the mushrooms so we tell the waitress about the missing mushrooms she says that bbq burger didn't come with any, but we saw the picture had the mushrooms. So we order a side of mushrooms takes them 5 to 10 min. She brings them we add them to his and my burger and as I'm biting the burger THERES A LONG HAIR ATTACHED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BURGER so I SPIT OUT the rest and call the waitress and show her the HARRY BURGER AND SHE SAID, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? OK, besides me having HORRIBLE EXPIRIENCE theres was AWEFULL SERVICE, to these type of incident's I'm sitting here confused, MAD making me think how the food was prepared are they wearing hairnets obviously NOT are they following the health codes if they cant ware a hairnet what makes me think there following the health guidelines. Then she offers to make another I'm thinking if its going to be made with those same ingridients no. I give her the harry one she brings back another I have an upset stomach I DONT EAT IT, we get up to pay and the lady RUBY BERRY that's the name she gave me was not wearing a name tag had clothes on that look like she has not washed in for ever not wearing a uniform. I could not sleep so I decided to go to Dennis and eat something, there was only two tables seated next to each other, I requested the waitress If I could sit on a booth away from the rest of the people, I just wanted to be alone, she denied my request and wanted to sit me next to the other costumers. My family and I where in town (6/30/13) for the night and went in to this Denny s. My wife and I and my daughter who is 13. As we walked in I notice that all of the male employees where young black men which is not a problem I am not a prejudice man, I'm not one to care about the color of a person skin or where they are from, it's what's inside that matters. But one of the cooks saw my daughter and I heard him make a comment about her, something to the effect of, 'look what just walked' in and all the other male young men started to look at her and started to whisper among themselves about her and checking out her well, lets just say her backside, and staring at her (backside). I very quickly grabbed my daughter and wife and left. I tried to contact Denny s HQ via Internet but could not. My daughter was not aware of what happened I did not tell her, I just told her that I changed my mind and went elsewhere. Do Not Take your daughter to this Denny s !!! Do not prefer this location. Booths are too small. Always seems dirty...tables, seats, & sometimes even the dishes. Waitress always seem nice, at least the ones that remember to come around. They need some management & maybe even a visit from the health dept. read more
