Unfortunately, my last few visits have shown a noticeable decline in both service and food quality. Tonight was by far the worst experience I've had here. I brought a group of colleagues and important guests for a company gathering. From the beginning, the service was inattentive. We were asked about appetizers, but our server walked away before giving us a chance to respond. After ordering, we waited well over an hour for our food. When the food finally arrived, it came out in several separate waves rather than together. Some dishes were cold, while others seemed like they had been sitting long enough that they were reheated before being served. I ordered the poutine, which is arguably one of the simplest items on the menu, yet it arrived roughly 20 minutes after the last dish had already been served to the rest of the table. To make matters worse, it arrived without the gravy, leaving me with little more than cheese fries. By the end of our meal I had asked for the poutine to be removed from the check because it was completely scorched from the reheat. The meal was removed from the check, however our check wasn't right and no one would attend us long enough for us to explain that we ordered items that didn't show up but were still charged for. When we were ready to leave, our server was nowhere to be found, and when I attempted to pay at the front desk, I was told that wasn't an option and that I needed to wait for my server - all we needed to do was pay so we could leave and move on with our night. All in all we spent over two hours which ruined our plans that we had following dinner. I've always considered this a 5-star restaurant and have recommended it to many people over the years. However, tonight's experience left both me and my guests feeling completely let down by both the service and the food. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because I'd love to see this restaurant return to the level of quality that made it my favorite for so long. Based on tonight's visit: 1/5 stars.
