They're one of the best sushi restaurants in plano. It doesn't matter you order inside the restaurant or you get take out order quality is perfect

My mother had frequently been here for lunch since she works nearby and has good things to say. I happened to be in the area, so the family decided to get lunch here on a weekend day. The place got fairly full inside around 12:30. There is outdoor seating too but not always available depending on the temperature. We were greeted by all the staff upon walking in, and service throughout was great! We really felt taken care of. The food was also commendable. I just wish they would have more plant protein options like tofu in their entrees as there are limited vegetarian let alone vegan options here. Options aside, what they do offer was delicious. We tried the tonkatsu bento box ($14) and the tempura udon ($16) which normally comes with shrimp and veggie tempura. They were able to substitute the shrimp tempura with more veggie tempura, which was nice. Portions were quite good for the price. The bento box components tasted good, although the accompanying sauces were a bit strong/salty. The udon and tempura tasted amazing, crispy, and fresh, and I would definitely get them again.

Good food and drinks. Shrimp tempura and crawfish popcorn is must try. Rolls were fresh and tasty

The seating is limited here, but the food and service never disappoints. The highlight was the Agadeshi Tofu and Caviar Mix over rice. So beautiful and delicious!

With a calming atmosphere where you can watch your sushi be rolled or watch any of their TVs, Densetsu is by far my favorite sushi place to eat at. We love their baked sushi (specifically the dynamite roll) and really all of their food is delicious. The service is very friendly and always helpful when you have questions!

Great quality, great service, great music. Food exceeded our expectations! Tried the Densetsu roll (loved the crunchy onion bits), red dragon (10/10!!), and spicy sirloin entree. They also gave us fresh oranges for dessert. Recommend for a casual, delicious meal!

Getting very expensive. Quality is starting to go sideways. Soups are too salty; really unhealthy (miso to udon).

Overpriced, overcrowded, loud, sticky, stinky and nasty. You know. The typical level of quality in a Plano restuarant.

Worst sushi I've ever had. The rolls are just sooo un-authentic and stuffed it doesn't taste like sushi at all.

The hamachi carpaccio and soy garlic edamame had really nice sauces, although my friend thought the actual edamame wasn't cooked as perfectly as some other places cook theirs. The presentation is beautiful! But the food itself was pretty lackluster for the cost. I got a variety set and my bf got the seared salmon set. Admittedly I've been to Aji-Kiji in San Francisco so my standards for boxed sushi omakase level was very high. Aji-Kiji was more elevated from the tiny building room to the food presentation, however the price was great too. Here it felt cheap in a few areas yet the price is the same level as them. The rice isn't the best and by extension, the rolls aren't perfect. I can get over that though, just picky due to the cost. Next, the fish was fishy. It was enough to make me worried if I could get sick. I ended up being fine, but honestly this place is just average sushi made to look better than it is

The three of us ordered a variety of sushi rolls and shared them. We went with a wide variety of options and found it was hard to land on just one favorite as a result. They offer options with some unique variations (e.g. like the North Texas roll that is topped with guacamole and baked with spices). The prices were reasonable, and I will say the width of each piece was on the smaller end, and we still walked away very satisfied with the amount of our meal. The service was on the slower side. They got slammed shortly after we got there and said they don't typically have that much of a crowd on a Sunday night so it caught them off guard. The restaurants seating area is cozy with a warm ambiance.

God bless her there was only one waitress for all the guests and I could tell she was very overwhelmed. It took one girl I was with over an hour to get any of her rolls and we had to remind our waitress. The salmon I got was really good and it said it came with the Japanese vegetables and I literaly only got 2 small carrots and 2 small potatoe slices, I love vegetables so this was extremely dissapointing.

The ebi robata was not my favorite, the shrimp has quite a kick in the throat. The chicken thigh robata was really good. Excellent flavor. Salmon belly was nice and fresh too. I'd like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I've ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. The sauce was delightful, the outside was perfect with a crunchy bottom and soft top, and the filling was delicious. Well worth $7. My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate. I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura. Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I'm used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn't what I expected and wasn't to my tastes Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price. I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.
