I want to preface my review with this: Sushi Damu was a go to spot between 5-7 years ago. Now the quality has significantly declined. The fish doesn't taste fresh. I ordered salmon sashimi and it tasted like it had been out for a week or more. I also had ordered a jen jen roll and tasted better since it had some sauce and crab meat but the salmon was so bad. Even though this is the case, prices have gone up. There was one roll that was so bad none of us could eat it. The outside of the roll tasted sour. I removed the thick sour wrapping and tried to eat the roll itself. It was the worst sushi experience of my life. I couldn't even pretend to finish the other rolls leftover because I still tasted that sour nasty taste in my mouth. For 2 dinner all you can eat meals plus one soda we paid ~$75. For this price, I'd rather go somewhere else. Anywhere else. We will not be coming here any longer.

This was our second time coming here for all-you-can-eat sushi, and once again, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We loved every bite. What really stood out this time was the great customer service. We noticed something in one of the dishes that didn't look quite right and weren't sure what it was. The manager came over right away, was super nice, and explained everything clearly. He made us feel comfortable and reassured us that it was totally safe to eat. We really appreciated how respectful and professional he was. Can't wait to come back again!

Walking in it's a calm environment, families enjoying themselves and the food. Everything was good, very savory and fresh. We had got all you can eat, everything was in good portions, sizes variating. The service was fast, and welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant.

Got the spicy tiger roll (BOGO) on uber eats and I liked it! Fresh tasting and the salmon was yummy. 25 for two rolls and all that.

Our group opted for the all-you-can-eat option. The sushi here is pretty good for the price. Personally, I found the salmon and eel particularly delicious, while the cucumber roll offered a refreshing contrast. However, the scallop dish had a bit too much mayonnaise for my taste. We arrived around 6:00 pm on a Sunday and were promptly seated with fast service throughout our meal. There were additional all-you-can-eat items, like miso soup and ice cream, that weren't listed on the menu but were available upon request so that was a bit of an inconvenience to figure out. The ambiance was pleasant overall, and I would definitely consider returning.

    Dust

This place used to be good, but it has really gone downhill. The rice falls apart, the fish is overly greasy, and the avocado on the rolls is dark and unappetizing. Overall, it's cheap, but definitely not worth the price. Honestly, even the pre-packaged rolls from Target taste better. The tables are dirty, and there was dust on the walls -- the place is just filthy, like no one ever cleans. What's shocking is that the same dust has been there for over six months. We noticed it the last time we visited too. I absolutely do not recommend this place. After an experience like this, you'll probably end up with indigestion.

This place was very good. So much better than sushi Yokohama. That place is a joke. all the nigiri was fresh, and the no rice rolls were massive. This place does not skimp on protein to fluff their AYCE deal. I will 100% be back.

Philadelphia Roll & Ex Girlfriend Roll but their Rainbow Roll is wonderful as well!

Want something between grocery store sushi and the fancy sush? My go to for a quick 2 roll sushi dinner and the quality is always good. They have an AYCE menu which I've never tried but they also have deals on multiple rolls too. My go to is the Philadelphia roll and rainbow roll. Their Philly roll uses fresh salmon and not smoked which is my preference. Always solid and fresh! Service is always wonderfu! I get take out a lot and I've called in my order and walked in and ordered as well as dined in. Every interaction has been great. Ambiance is fun and good for a group meal or a date night!

We stopped into Sushi Damu for a quick lunch. It's an AYCE sushi place with a great selection of rolls (fresh, low-carb, tempura and baked). The low-carb rolls are interesting they use thin slices of cucumber to replace the seaweed and rice (I recommend the Cucumber Skin Roll A). The cucumber makes the roll surprisingly refreshing and the crunch makes the eating experience quite enjoyable. We ordered several different rolls and a few of their premium offerings. But the best surprise would be the Dallas Roll and the Danielle Roll. The Dallas Roll consists of a California roll topped with salmon, tuna and a citrus onion and cilantro salad. The Danielle Roll has shrimp tempura and baked salmon on top and is bursting with flavor. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There's plenty of parking since this location is at the corner of strip mall. I can't wait to come back!

I came here for All You Can Eat sushi with friends and was so impressed!! We got an insane amount of food and if we wanted to, we could've gotten much more in the 2 hours. The bang for your buck is unmatched. Not only can you get a large quantity for your dollar, the quality is really really great! The sushi was delicious and I was so impressed by the variety. We tried about 15 different types of rolls. The only downside I would say is that a lot of the sushi had crab (California roll) but there was so much variety that you can easily try other things if you don't like that. The nigiri is great and you can get $100 worth easily. Overall: great restaurant and amazing bang for your buck! Not only is it cheap sushi, it is delicious and high quality!

I myself don't really like sushi, so I got the chicken yakisoba. I'd place it at average to above average yakisoba, with strong flavor and thin noodles. I think beef or pork would have better suited the dish had they had them--the chicken was good but a little dry. My partner seemed to very much enjoy his omakase. He got the 10 piece course, and there wasn't anything he thought was bad or mediocre. I asked for his favorite and he mentioned both tuna options that he received, including one with truffle. It was also his first time trying caviar. When asked what could be improved, he cited that when he had his omakase in Japan, it was more than just nigiri options. He liked the little appetizers, hand rolls, and more that he had gotten there. He said that while this 10 piece course was great, he wished for a bit more variety. Overall, we both enjoyed our meal here and would return again. Shoutout to the waitstaff for not forcing the whole table to get the omakase (that's happened to me before)!

We showed up with a party of 10 and they got us sat in roughly 20 minutes which I think was a fair amount of time for a Saturday 1:00pm time frame. Staff were all friendly and attentive. I got the pork cutlet omelet with cheese and spice level 7. My goodness, I inhaled that dish. I came across this spot on Yelp where the reviews were glowing, though I will say the menu is a little confusing.... That holds true in person too, but thankfully there are photos to guide you, which helps a lot. Also worth noting, they offer 20 (twenty!!!) levels of spiciness, which feels both exciting and pretty intimidating. I went with the pork katsu curry with rice. The omelet dishes looked amazing too and I was tempted, but crispy curry & rice won the day. I told the waiter I wanted medium spice and said 5, and the server smiled and said he would give me a level 1. I laughed, but he knew exactly what he was doing because even level 1 had a solid kick. My hubby ordered the same dish with chicken and added veggies (and cheese(. He decided to be bold and went with a level 2. Honestly, mine might have even tasted spicier, but at that point it is all relative. We arrived around 4:45pm on a Saturday and it was easy to get seated. By the time we left, the place was completely packed and there was a line forming, which tells you everything you need to know. The pork was perfectly crispy, the rice had that ideal sticky texture, and the curry sauce was rich and generous. Every bite hit the spot.
