I drive a 2015 Nissan Sentra. Some fool backed into me and drove off. My insurrance deductable is $1,000, which is an overpay for this type of damage. Auto body shops wanted $600-800. Dear Journal, A freak accident happened and my poor car sustained an injury! The horror... After eight years of touchless car washes, frequent interior cleanings, and all scheduled maintenance, my car received its first dent because of a piece of wood fell on it (insert image of The Scream by Edvard Munch). I shopped around and sent photos of the damage with a measuring tape next to the damage fearing it would cost me a couple hundred. Dent X responded the fastest and set me up with an appointment with Mike. The range I was given was less than other competitors (that responded later) and Mike was very flexible in working with my schedule. Upon arriving and seeing the damage, he told me it was the lowest of the price range (to my delight). Even after finding out the job was going to take more time than he had expected because of some weird framing, he still honored his price with a smile. The only way you can tell there was ever any damage to my car now is to run your fingers across over the tiny spot where it was hit and you would only know that if you knew it was there in the first place. I Texted Michael with DentXAuto last Saturday (not business hours) about the deep dent on my vehicle's driver rear quarter panel. He promptly replied back with a quote which was lower than the other places I inquired. He was able to set up an appointment on Monday 11am.
