WOW!! Dent Dogs should receive an award for their superior services! Wonderful and Honest People working for them. So I bought a car and the dealer(CLEAR LAKE NISSAN) screwed me over with a dent that I didn't see(but promised to fix it). Talked to Chad and he was very honest! Told me to try to get the dealer (Clear Lake Nissan) to fix the dent. He got back to me fairly quickly and said he would be in my hood on a date that I picked and said I'll leave my car at home with my spouse. An unexpected "gift" I received while out shopping was a huge vertical dent in my front fender just over the wheel well, right in a tough spot because of the ridge. Short version: would recommend Dent Dogs to anyone, great service, reasonable price, excellent work. Long version: I bought a '13 Dodge Challenger in April of 2013, and since I live in Houston I had a minor door dent in the passenger door within a month. I didn't figure it was worth doing anything about until I got some more, and sure enough I had two additional dents in the door and a self-inflicted scrape along the right side rear quarter panel before the first year of ownership had passed. It was definitely time to get everything fixed. Stopped by the River Oaks Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership where I got the car, and their body shop gave me an estimate to the sound of $950 ("maybe less if we can do PDR"), and they'd need the car for two days. At the recommendation of a colleague, I looked around on Yelp and Google+, and Dent Dogs had the highest ratings by far. Called them up, explained that I didn't know if the scratches were superficial or if I'd managed to cut through the paint, and asked if I could drop by to have them take a look. They told me they could come to my office instead, free of charge, to give an estimate and we agreed to have someone stop by the next day. Dan called me before the agreed time to let me know he was on the way, and again when he arrived at the agreed upon time. He took a look at the damage, explained what he would need to do, and since it sounded like there was a good chance he could fix the damage right then and there for a price that was far more conservative than the dealership, I had him go to work. 2 hours later, and significantly less expensive than what I was quoted at my dealership, I have a car that looks as good as new. Needs a wax and a little bit of buffing to take care of some other minor scratches for the showroom finish, but all in all Dent Dogs did a great job on my baby. Can't recommend Dent Dogs highly enough, as these guys saved me time, money, and grief on a process that's very rarely pleasant. While I hope I won't need their services any time soon, I know who I'll be calling if I need dent repair again in the future. read more

Heads-up: This review is not based on the quality of work done, instead it is based on the honesty & knowledge of the technician (Mike), who came to my place to inspect my car for free and gave me professional suggestions. So here's the story: my car was scratched lightly on the passenger side door panel, fortunate enough the scratch is very subtle and I was more concerned about dent that came with it. Searched online found dent dogs had pretty good review decided to give it a try. Called Chad(Owner) and was told he would send a technician nearby to take a look at my car. Technician (Mike) arrived at the promised time, inspected my car carefully and told me the damage is probably not worth the repair, the dent is shallow & horizontal, plus it's down on the bottom 1/3 of the panel so unless you stand next to the car or look from a certain angle, you barely see it. We then exchanged our opinions on whether or not should I repair it and how to fix it (Mike showed me the tools he would use as well). Although it is a new car (2016 Civic) and I babied it, the conversation with Mike made me realize that leave the dent as it is for now is the best solution. I really appreciate the honesty of Mike, he could have rushed the inspection and scared me into repairing like some greedy technicians out there, but he didn't. So here you go Mike, and I actually believe he would do a good job if I decide to fix the dent in the future. read more
