I had a 2" crease on my passenger side door of my F-150. I went to Dentless Touch in Lorton, VA and got a quote for just over $900 as they told me this could be a 6-8 hour job. I'm sorry, I understand aluminum can be a bit difficult, but not for one minute did I believe this was a 6-8 hour job. I was resigned to the fact I was going to be living with a 2" crease in my door. I contacted a good friend of mine in the body shop business and he gave me Don from Dent Masters' contact info. I had some random incident, maybe vandalism, who knows but as you can see from the pics, it looked like some serious $ damage to my RAV4. I took it to to several area body shops, all of whom were giving me a really 'good deal'. In all cases they were to keep my car for at least two days to do the work and the best quote was $500. They couldn't guarantee the paint would match. Hmmm, I guess that means I either have to pitch a tent at your body shop, sleep in your waiting room or rent a car for two days. Dave is the man! I originally went to the tysons location for a dent on the hood of my BMW X3 but they weren't able to take me until the next following week. They provided me with Dave's information ( located in manassas) and he was able to take me within the hour of me calling him. The tysons location quoted me $580.00 in total to get the dent out but dave upon further inspection was able to knock off $150 because he was able to repair the dent without removing the hood of my car! I loved how he helped me cut costs rather than add like other auto repair shops. I had some work to do so he told me to bring my laptop and that I could work at his shop. He provided me with the WiFi info and a nice little sitting area where I could put my computer down. He was super accommodating. He said the repair would take roughly a couple of hours and he finished it just under that time. The tysons location is great I'm sure.. but you usually have to wait a long time and leave your car with them for half or even the entire day because it's a high traffic area. Give the Manassas location a shot, and ask specifically for Dave! He is the only guy that comes in on Friday and Saturdays. Time: almost 2 hours Space: super clean, and has plenty of resting areas for you to wait and drink coffee Cost: Dave hooked it up by knocking off $150 from what the tysons location said they would charge Customer service: freaking awesome Super friendly guy, and he even polished the car at the end!! I came to Don for an estimate on a dent that was on back of my car. He explained to me how water was building into my back door because of the dent and it made perfect sense to why water kept dripping from there even on sunny days. The price was extremely reasonable, pretty much the best price i could find. He took me right in, after the estimate and let me borrow his loaner car, which was so convenient. Donald is one of a kind! I had a 6" round dent on the corner of my rear bumper. Donald let me know exactly what to expect, since damage had been done to the paint. He is so honest! He explained that even though he could remove the dent, there would still be a mark left because there was damage to the paint. He did an incredible job and even took the time to buff out what he could on the bumper.
