I had to do a repair out-of-pocket, and did my research - they were one of the best rated places in the area. Turns out, there's a reason for that. They were very helpful and understanding. I also feel as though they were particularly honest and forthcoming with me regarding all the particulars, a feeling I didn't get about other businesses like Auto Body World and D&V. He guaranteed me that they'd do it for less than a certain price even though they couldn't be completely sure of the extent of the damage. It ended up being exactly that price, but it was still less than others had quoted, and the repair is flawless as far as I'm concerned. Technically, there's a tiny (2mm) dent in the corner of my door, and he offered to fix it, but I didn't have the time at the moment. He says the repairs are guaranteed, so I'm confident that if there are any issues with it, it won't be a problem. In the event that anything negative crops up, I'll update this review. I particularly appreciate him getting done earlier than expected (saved me a day of car rental fees) and on-budget. I'll be recommending Z to all my friends. Edit: A few weeks after I got it back, I noticed a whistle coming from what I thought was the corner of the car they'd repaired. After talking to the owner and them doing testing for quite a while, they pinpointed the whistle to the outside in a different corner. This wasn't them trying to throw blame at someone else - from every seat but the driver's, it was clearly coming from the other corner, but not the driver seat. Nonetheless, they gave me lots of advice for looking into it and didn't charge me despite spending hours of their time and expertise looking into it and trying to replicate it (it only shows up under certain circumstances). They were extremely helpful as far as making said process easy for me, too - the owner even picked up my car from my work so I didn't have to figure out a rental while they were looking at it. read more

Had a terrific experience with these guys! I needed some work done on my fender and spoiler, and Z Auto Body did a fantastic job. I was paying out of pocket, and after getting quotes from several places, I decided to go with Z Auto Body due to their competitive pricing, convenient location, and the other positive reviews on here. I dropped my car off on a Sunday through their key drop off and my car was ready by Wednesday, as promised. They ran into some new issues with my aftermarket spoiler, and instead of asking me to get a new one (which I was prepared to do since I'd been having issues with that one), they saved me the hassel (and extra money) of having to wait for a new one to be shipped, and worked extra hard to get the existing one working and looking like new. I had a really great experience with this shop. My father-in-law accidentally hit my parked car & badly damaged my door. It needed a complete replacement & most of the side of my car needed repainting. After getting my first estimate at Z-Auto Body, Amir told me to please call him after I got another estimate & that he would work with me on a price of he could. No need! The next place wanted almost $1,000 more!! And, the other place couldn't even start the job for 2 weeks & said they'd keep my car for 2 MORE weeks. My father-in-law left me his car for 1 week while out of town so that I could get the repairs done. Amir told me it would be no problem to have it ready by then. He tried to save us money by looking for a used door, but wasn't able to find one. Even though he ended up replacing mine with a brand new one from the dealership, he did NOT increase the price from my original estimate. I couldn't believe it. Then, a major snow storm was coming & he knew I'd want my 4WD Pilot for the snow, so he finished the job almost 3 days ahead of schedule. Looks great, car all clean inside, way better than when I left it. Amir even moved a car & let me pull into their garage to change out my 2 car seats inside instead of in the freezing cold. I've taken 2 cars to Amir in the past year. One for repair of a minor dent from road debris that had gone unnoticed and rusted, the other because someone rear ended my car. The first was covered by my insurance, but I had to pay the deductible. The later was covered by my insurance and they sought compensation from the other party. In both cases Amir was able to facilitate the process, clearly shared his knowledge, and was a pleasure to interact with. Amir handled coordination with my insurance company adjusters & in obtaining appropriate genuine manufacturer parts (it was a 2016, so the part numbers were listed in the usual systems yet), having them visit a 2nd time when additional damage was discovered during disassembly. The repair workers are diligent -- having discovered a hidden crushed part -- and the final product in both cases was like new (only 1st repair required painting). When I thought something looked wrong, Amir was patient to examine it with me. To put the issue to bed, I compared the appearance to new cars on the dealer lot and am now 100% convinced it was repaired correctly. I cannot say enough good things about Z Auto Body! My daughter recently was in a fender bender that caused the car some structural damage. We filed a claim with insurance and drove the car from the accident to the big named collision repair shop that they work with. And then I waited. And waited. I won't go on with all the details telling you how disappointing the big shop was, but it was bad. When I finally got word two weeks later that the car had to be totaled because the value of the older car with lots of miles wasn't worth fixing for cosmetic damage, I was NOT happy. I then walked across the street to Z Auto Body and spoke with Zia. What a nice guy! He explained how the big stores make all their money and why he could do it for less. With that, he promised to have the car fixed within a week and even promised a general price range. He and Amir called or emailed every step of the way to keep me informed that it was going to be done on time and confirm that his estimated cost was right on par. I even explained when I first went in that not only did I need the car a week later, but that my teenager was driving it to school in Florida as soon as we got it back! Knowing that, they took extra time to run it in the shop just to confirm that there was no engine damage. Needless to say, I picked the car up on Friday as promised, paid the amount they said originally that it would cost, and my daughter is now safely in Florida and back at college in time for the new semester.
