They said they would come back within the next couple days to finish. I think that they run a racket on the tesla loaners and charge the insurance with luxury rentals. Their main focus was to secure as much money they could procure for themselves ignoring all the requests of the customers. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. He came to my place but added an extra $25 to the original quote for fuel costs. I agreed, as long as he did a good job. It took him about 20 minutes to remove the dent. However, the interior of the hood had some paint removed. While the ding was gone, a visible line remained at certain angles. He claimed this was due to the hood being aluminum and that he couldn't get it perfect. Another place quoted me more and said its 1-2 hours for the job, and I believe they would have done it right. If you want perfection, he's not your guy. The fix was better than the golf ball-sized dent, and the line is only visible at the right angle. I can live with it, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a perfect result.
