Despite this, she refused to read the information on the back of the card, which clearly stated that Dental is provided through United Concordia. I inquired if they accept United Concordia, and she confirmed this. However, she refused to call United Concordia to verify the coverage. Faced with this situation, I asked for the cash price, which I could afford. Given her rude behavior, I felt uncomfortable proceeding with a root canal at this establishment. I was in a lot of pain. I called my insurance and they verified they are in network. Then they reached out directly. They left them two messages.

The office staff are very friendly, modern and very clean inside. I was immediately taken back for X-rays, the dental assistant was a sweetheart, she was actually training a new assistant and let me just say this, she was really awesome giving the new guy great pointers and had a lot of patience. Dr Pace came in and I explained what had been going on the last few weeks. I explained to him I'm pretty scared about this whole ordeal and he promised to make me feel comfortable and to take care of me which he did! I never felt a thing and he constantly asked if I was ok. This is a very professional office who seem to genuinely care for their patients. This procedure was done yesterday afternoon about 330... and it's currently about 845am and I have already received a call asking if I'm doing ok, if I had any questions about my follow up, which I really appreciated. If I ever had to see an Endodontics again without hesitation I would be back and I would highly recommend!

A previous endodontist took expensive x-rays and spent 5 minutes with me to tell me the roots were calcified and the tooth would have to come out. I asked if there were any other options and he said no. I left the office in tears. When my dentist got the report, she said go to Dr. Simpson for a second opinion since he is really good and he might be able to help. I was skeptical, but hey, my tooth and I agreed it was worth a try especially since I was impressed with the doctor's credentials and how he keeps his training current and is in step with the latest technology. For example, calcified roots do not always mean the tooth has to be extracted as it depends on the situation and having an endodontist willing and able to take on the challenge with precision tools, sharp mind, steady hands, and patience. Dr. Simpson is obviously up to the task! From the first call to the office, to the consultation, to the procedure itself, and all the insurance filing, everything was done with the highest degree of professionalism and care. The office staff is superior, following up phone calls, answering questions, and assuring you that you will be in good hands. I get the impression that they and the dental assistants enjoy working with each other and aren't replaced regularly like in so many offices these days. This adds to a sense of stability and security that you are indeed dealing with professionals. The office itself helps calm you with subdued lighting, soothing music, and a big screen television playing peaceful nature scenes. Want to wash your hands and tidy up without going into the bathroom? There is a sink and mirror in a little vestibule for your convenience, but don't hesitate to use the bathroom if you want: it's spotless. Dr. Simpson answered every question I had and even prepared me for the possibility that I might need a second visit to complete the procedure because of the complexity, but it turned out I didn't. The day of the root canal, I was naturally nervous, but everyone was so calming and I was introduced to Tiffany the Tooth which cracked me up: she's a little foam tooth with a smiling face and you can hold her and squeeze her if you like to keep your hands busy while your perfectly numbed mouth is being worked on. I find it helps and it was thoughtful that they have her available. Dr. Simpson was so gentle and I appreciated the use of a bite block--little soft wedge to keep your mouth open so you don't have to do it on your own power. It was the right size too as I didn't have the usual achiness that comes with holding your mouth open for extended periods. Five star service with no hesitation. Thanks again Dr. Simpson!

Unfortunately my visits as an adult were always by emergency care and never by personal desire. The outside of the building is older - but the inside is delightfully decorated. This office has ample seating and a small refrigerator filled with water bottles for convenience. Per my recent visit with Dr Michael Thompson, his demeanor was calm and his bedside manner was stellar!! I was told by another dentist at another location that I would need a root canal - Instead I opted to get a second opinion on my own at Litchfield Endodontics with Dr Michael and he stated I did not need one and opted to fix my cracked tooth instead. The technology of their 3-D scanner made my visit efficient and smooth. I felt like I was in and out quickly. The staff at this office are kind and really made me feel comfortable. There are some negative reviews of Dr. Steinbrunner here, and I can't imagine why. I've seen him…read morefor over a year now. My dentist referred me for observation of a tooth with resorption. At the first visit, he explained what resorption was and why it might be happening. At that point, no action was needed, so he asked me to return months later to make sure it was not getting worse. Unfortunately, it was, and I was having pain. He again explained carefully what was happening and that the pain was due to the proximity of the nerve. He told me that a root canal would be the way to proceed, and that we should be able to save the tooth and eliminate the pain I'd been having. I was not thrilled to hear that I needed a root canal, but felt comfortable with him and scheduled it. Root canals are no one's idea of fun, but Dr. Steinbrunner and his staff did everything possible to explain every step and keep me as comfortable as possible. When I indicated that I could still feel pain, he gave me more local anesthetic and waited for it to take effect before continuing. As promised, the pain was gone after the procedure, and I'm able to chew using that tooth once again. I had a concern about that same tooth weeks after the procedure. I called the office and they got me in that same day. It turns out it had nothing to do with the root canal, but rather a TMJ splint I wear at night. Dr. Steinbrunner helped me sort out what was happening, and I was able to get in touch with my TMJ doctor and all is well. I'm so impressed with his compassion, experience, and professionalism...I can't imagine where those other reviews came from!

When I called Noll Family Dentistry yesterday to cancel my next appointment and request my films…read moresent to a different provider, I commented "if Dr. Noll is interested to learn why I won't return after one visit, he's welcome to reach out". He chose not to call, prompting me to write this review. As part of my visit on 9/24, before the cleaning I specifically went there for, the dental assistant performed a gum charting exercise (if not familiar, it's an easy Google lookup to describe what the charting numbers mean). For each tooth, she read out to her assistant 4s and 5s. A 12 year old failing implant had a much higher reading I'm sure was accurate. Dr. Noll told me I need a deep-cleaning to the tune of approximately $600...I subsequently saw my periodontist a few days later to evaluate the old implant. He performed another charting that revealed 2s and 3s. I then asked if I'd benefit from a deep cleaning, and I guess because of professional courtesies between doctors, he reluctantly told me I won't benefit from the procedure. It was the difference between what I was told at this appointment and what my periodontist said that led me to move on.

I researched several dentist in her area and based on the reviews, I convinced her to try Arrowhead Creekside Dental. They did not disappoint. Dr. Shin and staff were so kind and considerate - they made sure she was comfortable while taking X rays, the hygienist was super gentle cleaning/polishing her teeth and Dr. Shin was so friendly during his examination that she forgot to be nervous!
