I am glad I did, because it was a good reminder why I chose this practice in the first place. I originally chose to go here by doing my due diligence and reading into the business and real life reviews, I really spent quite a bit of time vetting where I would go to change my smile permanently. This practice checked all of the boxes. They are very professional and kind. No pressure, no telling you that you need more than what you're asking for, they let you make your decisions and provide transparency with pricing. They don't send you automated spam texts for years after visiting and they treat people fairly. I'm very happy with Dr. Tenney's level of expertise and service-minded support. The office staff, dental assistants, neat & clean office and RESULTS are what has made their reputation so great. I actually had fun we laughed the entire time they worked on my teeth. And no I didn't have laughing gas. Dr. Schuerman has to be the coolest hippest most caring dentist I have ever met. This was made evidently clear to me even more when I brought in my four young kids here. Dr Hettini truly values my health and he is not push. For example, I needed to get a root canal for over a year that I needed over the last year until now most recently he said that the time is running out and I need to get it done. Companies that because of personal finances did not do and so I waited. He told me that time is running out and If I want to save the tooth we need to get it taken care of. Every six months I drive over 40 minutes one way to this location and it's well worth it. I am greatful for dentist of North Glendale being part of this community. He explained what he was going to do and why. He showed me my x rays so I could see the cavity located under my crown. What I didn't tell her is that I got a deep cleaning less than 6 months prior. She said my gums bled a little as she was poking around with her metal tool. Well, I have not seen any blood on my gums for at least 15 years no matter how much I brush and floss which is a lot hence the lack of blood. When I told her I wasn't going to do that, she got another woman ( I forget her name. ) to come in and assure me that now is the best time because blah blah blah. When I denied them, they both looked disappointed and defeated. Almost depressed! I did have to get a minor procedure done on a molar so now enter Dr. Karren a few weeks later. He jabbed me with his needle and I let out a yelp from the pain and he didn't say one damned word. He just kept jabbing about 3 more needles because he seemed very much in a hurry. He didn't wait in between needles. Just BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! I can't say if he overbooks because he wants to do as much work as possible to bring in the $$$ but he definitely seemed to be in a hurry as he was running around from patient to patient. The guy lacked bedside manner to say the last and I believe he has become desensitized to people yelping in pain because he's heard it so many times. Also, their equipment looks very outdated. The way they take xrays is decades old. I've gone to another dentist since and his xray machine looks space ago and they use a painless needle called "The Wand". It's a revolutionary tool to painlessly inject novocaine. In my opinion "Dr". Karren is living in the dark ages and his office is more about the $$$ than anything else. Again, how they have so many good reviews is beyond me but I told of my experience so you be the judge.

This review is regarding Dr. Raiffe. Not only did Dr. Raiffe mess up every tooth he worked on in my…read morehusband's mouth, he messed up my implant! In 2016, he used a small implant (see pic) and large crown and my screw came loose- 9 years later! I'm at a new dentist office now, and he's had to break my crown, to get the screw that connects my implant, and the screw still won't come out. Apparently this is a discontinued implant, probably a knockoff cheap implant to max his capital! I may have to have the implant removed and a new implant placed- up to $8,000! Between my husband and I, we will have to spend $11,000 on every single tooth Dr. Raiffe worked on. Look at how small this implant is in my gum and the space of the crown. Food gets stuck and lots of pressure chewing with a large crown and small implant. I would not recommend!!!!!!!!
