i am a 19 year old who has always hated going to the dentist, and i've had some pretty bad experiences. i've been going here for a little over a year and i have never felt more comfortable in a dentist office. though they were running a little behind today, they were extremely apologetic and i did not feel like they were in a rush at all. the staff are very knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your experience. i was asked several times if i was okay, if the water was too cold, etc, and it made me feel very comfortable. i have pretty bad luck with cavities as well, and they explained to my mom and i with great detail how we could move forward with further treatment and appointments. the hygienist even asked how my last round of fillings went! though they work hard with you to prevent further problems, they do not nit pick at things that don't necessarily need a whole lot of treatment. my only complaint is that this place is a little more pricey than other places, but to my mom, sister and i, it is worth it to pay a little more to be welcome with such amazing and caring people. read more

Great service, great staff, as usual. I've been a patient for over 15 years, & as good as the service has always been, somehow it keeps getting better. It always includes very professional dental actions - fully explained, executed, follow up consistently. The new facility is fine, it offers fine spaces & yet connected to staff & services as needed. As the staff has increased services have expanded & yet remain very personal & complete. The ethic driving such a business must come from Dr. Whiteneck, be reinforced by all staff, & carry through to desk-based actions, because I've never found a difficulty in working with any staff members that isn't based in respect & warmth. And a truly fine sense of humor! I truly appreciate all the great experiences I've shared over the years, from the review & planning through the (sometimes) deeply-medicated practices & then follow up. I've been going to Dental Design Studio for years. I had chipped my front tooth while in Mexico (Don't ask.), and I went to another dentist in Norman who tried to fix it. After a week, my "fixed" tooth fell off. A friend then recommended Dr. Whiteneck. She was able to permanently fix my broken tooth and made it look awesome, better than before. I've been going there ever since. I've seen both Dr. Whiteneck and Dr. Spurlock. They are both wonderful. Unlike many doctor offices, the atmosphere is fun and the wait is very minimal. You immediately sense that every member of the staff truly cares about you as a patient. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a great dental experience. read more

I love my dentists! The great experience begins with seeing Kim and Suzanne at the front - always happy! This office is always doing continuing education and is on the cutting edge of the latest Dental info and technology and do a great job educating their patients. Nola, hygienist, is great to visit with and is conscientious to tell me what comes next in my cleaning exam, she educates and has a wonderful attitude. It was a pleasant experience. I always say- I am going to the CHAIR but the chair here is handled with care and empathy to nervous patients like me. I still have half of my face tilted due to my deep cleaning but I was more nervous and on the edge - not bad!! I am saying to myself now. The office staff is very friendly and my hygienist, Dana made me feel very comfortable. She puts me at ease while cleaning my teeth and lets me know what and why she is doing certain things to my teeth and what they will be looking for. Today I saw Dr. Jenkins and she was just as friendly as everyone else. This has been a pleasant transition for me because I had been a patient of Dr. Hoelscher's for over 25 years and upon his retirement, I had to seek my dental care somewhere else. I'll be the first to admit that I have some serious anxiety about going to the dentist - but I have been going to this office for 15+ years and I have NEVER had a problem! My experience today was perfect! I really appreciate how rapidly I was able to get an appointment to deal with the loss of an extremely elderly crown (40 plus years!)
