The front desk staff is very accommodating when scheduling and supporting your visit goals. They always answer the phone quickly and helpfully. Waited over an hour for a scheduled appointment at 12pm. When my husband and I arrived at 11:46 for our 12pm appoontment. Opon arrival our temperature was never checked nor were we asked any COVID questions. The only thing they had was one big bottle of sanitizer that I didn't see anyone use either. After waiting four an hour I complained to the supervisor Ms. Rey about the wait and she gave me a lame excuse that the doctor might be busy with other patients. Yet they took a patient with a 1pm appointment before me. The cleaning was done very quickly and I didn't even get a flouride treatment which I usually get with a dental cleaning. My husband didn't even get a cleaning at all. He was told he needed medical clearance. I had mentioned when I made the appointments that he had a hip replacement and he would get antibiotics for the cleaning. But he still didn't get a cleaning. Wouldn't that be medical clearance if he had the antibiotic. Gave their corporate office a chance to rectify this and instead had they had their supervisor from that office, Ms. Rey, call me. Pretending she didn't know why I was unhappy and act like she didn't know they weren't checking temperatures or asking COVID questions, when she was at the front desk when we arrived and my husband congratulated her on her pregnancy. Covering her butt is what she was doing by acting stupid. Worst dental office we've ever been too. Definitely don't recommend it. Stay away. I'm going to contest these charges to my insurance. I wish there was a negative button . I originally went because I felt my molar chipped and they said nothing was wrong with any of my teeth etc if I want a cleaning so I said sure . 2 months later both of my molars on both sides of my mouth are chipped BOGUSLY because of their misdiagnosis and to make matters worse they didn't want to refund me anything . This was the worst experience of my life originally called and they told me nothing was available while I was already at the website and I saw that there were appointments available and I made one for 12 noon. I was in a lot of pain. I knew my teeth tooth needed to be extracted and I said that when I made the appointment when I got there I was third in line to see the dentist. Unfortunately there were about 15 people that were let in before me when finally my husband said hey what's going on here they put us in a room, I don't know what the difference was waiting in the room or waiting out in the waiting room. I waited over 45 minutes in the room again my husband wanted to know where the dentist was. we were told somebody would be right there 20 minutes later in walks the dentist, the first words out of her mouth , I am cringing as I'm writing this just thinking about it. She said,"I was at lunch. I am entitled to eat you know" wow that was the wrong thing to say to me. I said the tears were dripping out of my eyes from the pain and then she tells me she looked at the x-rays and I would have to go to a surgeon and have my tooth removed. I have been coming here for over a year. I was sent here by a referral from my friend who's son suffered damage from a baseball injury. The staff had always helped me out and fit my son's in their schedule. As well as myself and family. They performed a couple of minor repairs due to a previous dentist that was a higher end professional missed that caused me to come here. They treated his tooth he had to get a minor root canal but all is good. They work around my schedule and the kids like to play in the game room. I read the previous comments and see that the issues are more neglect with parents rather than a issue from walking. I would recommend this place I have gone to high end. .corporate many dentists they all do the same thing its who you feel confidante and comfortable with. read more

I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I have been delightfully surprised! Dr Ranpariya is caring & compassionate. He and the Office Manager have been concerned not only with my treatment, but with my out of pocket expense. FYI: I just had 4 teeth pulled. Normally I do not give reviews but I really felt the need to give a review for this location. First of all I have been coming to this location since the birth of my child back in 2008. So myself and my child has both been seen at this location. Dental Dreams almost lost me as a patient due to the negligence of one of the dentist chipping one of my front tooth during a schedule procedure. I was contacted by management to come in to fix the problem by another dentist but was scared. Later on some time I decided to come in to be seen and I preferred the Dentist that I've always seen which is Dr. Sharma. Let me just say I am so happy that I decided to come back here because Dr. Sharma really really did a awesome job fixing the problem. Dr. Sharma is the best Dentist in my opinion at this location; she is very attentive and she listens to her patients. Dr. Sharma is very gentle with her work most of all she knows what she is doing! Even with an appointment, I waited for 1 hour to see the dentist. Children were playing and running from play area to front desk area and the staff acted as if the office was a daycare. Staff are not very friendly and I have to always fill out a new chart every time I visit. (even if last visit was 3 weeks ago). If you need (prior authorization) for any services you may need, please give them over 6 months to mail and receive the reply. Every front desk rep has a different answer to your questions or concerns, and each rep will give you a different price for your copays. This place is far from a dream!! They tell you you need all this work done and then only do it half ass so you have to come back and get it done again. I've had cavities filled that they tell me I need filled again less then a year later.. how does that make sense?? They just see you as a dollar sign here not a person. They will try and give you work done to your teeth you do not need. She tried to tell me I have cavities because of all the pop I drink... I do not drink pop at all. They are a complete joke here. Also doesn't matter if you make your appointment for the second the doors open you'll still sit here and wait 90% of your day. It took almost 2 hours before I even saw the dentist. My appointment was for 11am I didn't get an X Ray until 12:30pm. At 12:45 I asked when would they begin my procedure and the dentist said AFTER ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF TO TWO HOURS FROM 12:45! Then I asked how long would the procedure take and she said 1-2 hours. So they expected me to sit there until 3:45 to begin then be there 1-2 hour during the procedure. So basically they thought I would be there from 10:30am until 5:30pm. I walked out. read more

So my niece Danny's been complaining of a tooth ache, she was taken to Dental Dreams in Melrose Park, the 2 bit POS excuse of a dentist did an x-ray and said there was nothing more than a gum infection and "it will go away with time" this was on Friday when that tooth was infected. The dentist did nothing for her, no pain meds, no antibiotics, nothing so her mom gave her some Tylenol and she was ok for 2 days. Yesterday another tooth started to hurt and we took her to a new dentist today who said it's a miracle her face is not swollen like a balloon from the infections and the exposed nerve. She has a tooth that started out as a cavity, then it cracked and now her nerve is exposed and the dentist said this is not a new cavity and infection and for Dental Dreams to not see this, no matter where in her mouth that tooth is, no matter what tooth she came in for on Friday, to not treat that tooth as well is unexcusable. The dentist was speechless when I told him what Dental Dreams said and he was even more speechless when he found out she was not given antibiotics or painkillers. I called Dental dreams and what started out as a calm cnversation turned into me losing it with their bitch ass excuse of an office manager who laughed at me because I told her they should be sued. She told me "do what you want" WHAT A FUCKING BITCH!! Don't take your kids there unless you want them seen by 2 bit dental students who get paid $200 or $300 a day just to show up for the day and get some on the job training. They don't know what they are doing and the staff of bitch ass little snots who work there with barely a high school degree need a good fucking beat down I am so pissed off I am shaking. I came to this place and they assured me that my insurance would cover everything being done. 4 months later, I'm being billed $961.00! I should have known by the way they wanted to start working on me right away. no kidding. they told me that I would have no absolute out of pocket costs. They are scammers! Do not believe anything say. Please make sure how much they charge and how much your insurance covers or you will be in the same boat as me. I hope people read this and think twice about coming here. Ignorant lazy people that don't know how to deal with children my son already had a traumatizing experience at another dental place so his reaction is to push away I had told them that. as soon as he sits down he grabs the mirror and that sharp tool and goes straight for my sons mouth my son got scared and pushed away he says oh no I can't work like this I had to tell them to show him the objects show him it doesn't hurt basically telling them how to work with a child only one cavity and they say the only thing that they can recommend since he's scared is to put him under the gas FOR ONE CAVITY!!! After he says all that he still goes to put numbing gel in my sons mouth literally when he's telling me that he can't work with him I had to stop him why numb my son if you're not gonna work with him they don't care about children at all here!!!!What happened to people that knows how to work with children that don't give up easily he's only FiVE!!! I thought this was ridiculous and I just took off work and wasted all my time!!! Then the girl lied to me and told me I made an appointment with a different doctor then what she told me!!! And then wanted me to see another doctor that has no experience!!! I went in for a deep cleaning. which my insurance only allows every 2 years. They numbed me up and were done only after 20 minutes. I noticed that some teeth were not even touched. I went too work. I got home and noticed my teeth still noticeably dirty. I went back and explained to the office manager, who replied, "when you are numb, sometimes you can't feel which teeth are worked on". I asked for the dentist that said if I was not happy they could do it again. I came in again, they numbed me up. This time it took 35 minutes. Can i give them a half of star or actually no stars??!! This place used to be my favorite experience for dental work. I've referred many. And my whole life I've had bad experiences and anxiety since I wad a kid. This place used to comfort me. This last experience was just awful all around. After I made my appointment they called 2 days before as a reminder great. Then same day to schedule the check up I was already scheduled for but no one put my appointment notes in the system. Then after my appointment they called that evening to schedule a check up and had no notes I was even there that day at all. And the experience itself was horrible! Let me start with the wait. Usually I get right in barely wait 3-5mins. I had to fill out new patient paperwork that they should already have on file. Extremely unorganized and annoying.. And then finally got called in to have my exam and they didn't know what I wad there for I had to tell 2 assistants what I was there for and then finally got xrayed. Then an pakistani/Indian woman who didn't identify herself as a Dr. Or dental cleaner or anything said she was going to clean my teeth and asked if I had pain or cavities I told her how I've been trying to tell them for over a year that for 3yrs I can't chew on my left side because my teeth hurt deep in the nerve and root and need 3 teeth pulled. They know which ones they are every time. Her husband usually listens to me or refers me to a surgeon to pull it like my impacted wisdom. And this lady didn't want to hear that I wanted it pulled just that they were going to give me a root canal which she knew and I reminded her my insurance doesn't cover. She kept trying to sell me things like a partial bridge for my other side. I kept telling her u can't afford that at this time. And told her I want my 3 problem teeth pulled and she kept insisting to wait and see my allergist about my sinuses first. Which had nothing to do with my teeth I want pulled and years of pain over with. She didn't care about my pain only extra picket money. Then she made the assistant take more xrays of the teeth. The assistant again took the wrong angle and had then again be told to come back in the room a 3rd time and retake them. I still don't think she got them right. And the Indian woman started cleaning my teeth and arguing about how no I don't need them pulled and to wait it out and she got mad at me and rough with the cleaning and hurt me very badly on my gums lots of blood. Then the assistant was told to finish my cleaning with the paste and made a huge mess on my face that when I finally was able to leave and I looked in the mirror in my car after lots of people saw my face.. My nose was covered in a thick white layer of the toothpaste they didn't have the decency to clean my face off. It looked like they painted a thick streak of white across my nose it looked so bad I was so embarrassed. Soooo rude!!!! I will be going somewhere else from now on and refer all the people I sent them to a different dentist instead as well. read more

My son had a 10am appointment on a Sat for a school exam required for kindergarten. The lady on the phone suggested that I get there a little early since he was a new patient. We got there at 9:50am, I approached the front desk and 3 of the ladies proceeded with what they were doing and didn't bother to ask any info. I signed my son's name on the waiting list and figured they would ask if it was his first visit - since they didn't, I asked the lady myself if there is paperwork that needed to be filled out and she simply handed me a clipboard and said "pens over there". so I filled out their repetitive and extensive paperwork for about 15 min. By this time, there were 2 other patients in the waiting room and their kids in the Jungle play gym. It was 10:10am and not long after, the roomy office started filling up and we were still waiting.....30 min later. One of the ladies in the front called me and asked if I was aware of my son's benefits. I told her that the insurance company gave me the number and I was explained my benefits over the phone. She proceeded to tell me what the benefits were which is probably required by who ever runs the office (if such thing exist). As she was giving me the insurance info, 2 of the other girls next to her interrupts and asks if she had eaten breakfast yet. She stops to tell them she has, and continues. They interrupted her again and asked what she ate?? Really!? I sat back down thinking I would be called any minute but no! Finally, at 10:55 they bring my son and I in and sat him down in the chair. They gave him an xray and the dental assistant told us that the dentist will be with us shortly- WTF!? I sat down on one of the chairs in the room as my son sat in patiently on the dentist chair, and I was told that the chair I was sitting on was for the dentist and I could not sit there. She brought me a folding chair to sit on. I was so irritated that I didn't even want to sit but it was another 30 min until he was seen by the dentist. She apologized for the wait and she was great with my son. I would say that she was the only thing I found to be positive about this place. As we were waiting, I noticed random dental instruments laying around by the hallway as you entered in the individual rooms. Probably unsafe since they were many little kids and toddlers running around, and definitely unsanitary!! I was excited to see the office as I walked in. There is a jungle play gym that I thought was cool but after waiting for so long, I was so annoyed with the noise level. It it weren't for the paperwork that I needed to have filled out, I would have just left. I also noticed new patients who arrived after us, were called into the office before us. I wonder if there is some Dental Dreams politics they didn't disclose in their paperwork.. Anyway, Dental Dreams was more like a dental nightmare for me. I will drive far, pay more,take a day-off of work, before I EVER come back here =) read more

I have been going to this dentist for about two years for cleanings. So I never ran into any major issues until recently when I needed to get fillings. I waited over two hours in the chair and finally got up and walked out. The office kept calling for me to reschedule and apologize for the wait and promised they would get me in with no problems. So I went ahead and rescheduled. Immediately when the dentist began to work on my mouth he said would try to do most of the work. I couldn't believe it! I almost jumped out of the chair. I said no I was told you would do all the work needed to be done. Especially since I waited two hours before and wasn't seen. We went back and forth and I spoke with the manager and he finally did the work. When I got home I noticed I had silver fillings. I was furious!!!! My insurance covered white so why did he bill me for silver?!? I was never even consulted and asked if I wanted white. I will never go to them again! read more

DO NOT THINK OF GOING TO THIS PLACE!!! Dental Dreams is more like Dental Nightmare, They give an appointment and your waiting along time. The front desk is so unprofessional. The girl in the front desk gave me a referral and I told her that I will be on my way to see the new Dr. that she was going to fax my x-rays. I get to the new Dr. I set everything up and before the end of the day the new place calls saying they still didn't receive the x-rays. I called Dental Dreams (Nightmare) the same girl that said she was going to fax it now needs my signature to release my information, I had to leave my house in pain and highly medicated because Dental Dreams gave me a prescription for pain pills. Again the same girl I will fax it, the new Dr. calls and nothing yet, I call Dental Dreams again the same girl now the manager is going to send it. This is on a Friday, Now here is Monday and my Procedure is tomorrow, now according to Dental Nightmare is going to take 30days how unprofessional, I will never ever will be going here again nor al my family. They play to much games and the staff in front desk always joking, eating and gossiping. And I forgot to mention that if you call before hours Roto Rooter pluming in Lombard answers, when I mention this issue they act like I was the crazy one. I returned for my 6 months check up and cleaning and I keep saying that this place is awesome. I love this place!!! Everyone is friendly and professional. I am affraid of the dentist's because of a bad expierience in the past that I had at another office when I was young but the assistant and doctor where so patience with me and explained with details of all my treatment needed and process which they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I walked out of there very happy and satified and with no pain. I highly recommend this place. My kids also are patients and they love it which I will soon schedule their appointments. read more

I have taken my son here.. I took my older son there for his school dental exam in June, after getting there, signing in 15 minutes early, it took me 20 minutes to fill out paper work,( repetition repetition) took the paperwork up and had to wait at the desk for another 5 minutes to get a person to actually hand it off to. I was told to take a seat, and they would be with me shortly, 45 minutes later, i go up to the desk, and in between them talking about party plan, and lunch ideas, asked if it would be much longer. Finally got the answer that they were backed up today, and it wouldnt be much longer. another 20 minutes before they called my son back.. seated him, and proceeded to leave us in the exam room for another 20 minutes. They finally came in. gave him a half way exam, ( she was only in there for all of 5 minutes) Before I left the office, i had called and made him an appointment with a different Dentist. There is NO WAY i would recommend this office to anyone. Very poor patient service, and care. read more

Horrible!!! I had been there once before and waited forever in the waiting room. I do like the play gym, but the receptionists are very unprofessional. The dentist was okay, but very very slow. This time I had made my appointment a week and a half earlier for a Saturday for my 3 kids. I had to make accomodations for my 4th child, a baby, because I knew he wouldn't be able to be there for as long as it would take. When I got to the dentist I signed my name and sat down. After about 20 min the receptionist called my name. She asked me if my employer was the same, which it was and if my insurance was the same, which it was. They then said that they attempted to call my insurance company but they were closed, so they couldn't see my kids. I asked when they tried and she said the day before, but they were closed, and they need the fax before they can do anything. I asked why they didn't call me to notify me that they couldn't contact my insurance and she said she didn't know. I had to leave. I'm not going back. They are ridiculous! read more
