If you're a veteran & in search of a dental office to go to through community care, this by far has been the best one I've attended & listen when I say I have visited quite a few before getting to Dr.Tuason. I was greeted by Lady who was extremely professional and welcoming. Bianca & Byanca both assisted as well once I got to the back & they were both a pleasure as well as professional. Danica Tuason who is Dr.Tuason daughter gave me by the far the best teeth cleaning I've probably ever received from a dental office & I've had my share of teeth cleanings but hers was one you have to experience! Dr. Tuason was also professional & extremely communicative on treatment that would be needed outside of what the VA approved. Their office was quick in getting the request over to the VA as well which I appreciated and allowed me to schedule my next few appointments for the other items approved through the VA. I came back a year ago, and the place is not the same. My cleanings are half done, done by assistants ONLY, they used to have the dentist and assistant do cleanings together. I have had to go back 3-4 times to get my cavities re-done because the dentist that was there last year (some white lady) did TERRIBLE and left my teeth sensitive each time. I recently had an appointment at 11:30 and got there at 11:22 and checked in. I finally had to get up at 11:50ish and tell the receptionist to reschedule my appointment because I was waiting 20+ minutes for a cleaning. She was very kind but said that there were only 2 assistants available. So why are we overbooking if there clearly isnt enough STAFF? It does not make sense to me. Why schedule an appointment if Im going to be seen 30+ minutes later. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. I called to try and reschedule an appointment and the offices are closed when it says their business hours are 8-4. I don't recommend unless you want half done work and getting your time wasted.

Office staff would make my appts without my requests. They would call while I'm at work saying there's an opening right away and expect me to just drop my stuff at work and leave. I left 2 messages back on the first week of June to schedule appts for first week of July during my vacation and since then, I've received no callback. Now, if I was to get a callback regarding appts for the first or 2nd week of July, they'll most likely say there's nothing opened and that'll be because of the office staff of not responding to messages. Of course they'll say they never got my messages in June but that's not the case. I've been interacting with them at the same number for the past couple months. Again, great Dentist. BRACES AFTER AGE 30…read more Guilty. I'm that adult that finally had dental insurance and the first action I took was braces. And I had them for- 3 years! Unlike the dentist, there's nothing unsettling about the orthodontist. Oh, I saw my before and after pictures and I am not sure how the heck my grill was unbecoming for so long. DESCRIBE THE QUALITY OF WORK The work done here on my behalf was a notch above a miracle. My negligent mother didn't give a two flying sticks and my mouth was damaged. Oh, let me not digress. You don't know how contorted your mouth is until you take a 360 x-ray of your mouth. Shuddering. I actually looked forward to my appointments and braces tightening and color band dynamicism. TBH, I think I was one of his success cases but Dr. K is too honorable to say so. WHY ARE YOU WRITING A REVIEW NOW? Nothing lasts forever and I had to stop by to get my retainers refitted and tightened. Now I smile my wide smile with straight teeth. I'm in retainers now (since 2022) and continue to have teeth success. PRICING? I think it's more than the norm. I've been coming too long to shift or explore other options. I also have insurance. I think I paid out of pocket over a year for my braces. And that was long ago.
