I love Doc Park and her team! They are gentle and kind. I recommend them to any I ne young and old.

I highly recommend going elsewhere.Dr. Park is the dentist my former dentist sold the practice to. My first appointment was odd. She took photos of everything the former dentist had filled, enlarged the photos and showed me saying they ALL needed to be replaced. She showed only one X-ray image and said I also had a new tooth that needed filling. She really played up that she would do things right and the former dentist did things wrong. Really? I agreed to let her "fix" everything...I really wish I had not. The fixing procedure was horrid. Although she never hurt me, It was the highest level of uncomfortable. First she numbed me wrong but never asked or checked, my entire lowerer half was NOT numb. This became apparent when she drilled the lower two teeth. I said nothing because I did not want to prolong the misery. She uses a large device I was not familiar with, that dries your mouth and sucks the spit and shoves your tongue back AND holds your mouth open so she can work, it also left terrible sores behind on my upper gums. She passed things across my face as she worked, and dropped something on my face that left a wound. Now I know I had 5 fillings...but she didn't NEED to do 4 of them, so it was a long procedure. At the end I could feel, remember my lower half was NOT numb, including my tongue, that every tooth she worked on was incredibly rough and tacky. I even said, "Are you done?! Cause this feels incredibly rough?!" No, she said she would be back to polish things. While I waited I also noticed my "new and better" fillings felt bulky, like playdough was just slapped onto the tooth. She returned, did a quick polish and told me to comeback another day when my mouth wasn't so numb and she would make the rough spots better then. Ugh...ok, I returned the next day because every tooth she touched was so sticky, like Velcro, I ate leafy greens and the bits stuck to the repairs like leeches, even on the sides of the teeth! The worst was while flossing the floss got caught up on the rough edges she created and would snag and shred. I told her all this. First she argued that what I considered shedding and catching wasn't happening. She had me floss to prove it and the floss caught, broke some and came out looking like a hair snarl. She took her gloved finger smoothed the rumpled snarled floss RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE and said,"it's not shredded." I said,"Don't tell me that's not shredded." Then I decided not to argue because it was obvious she was going to deny any wrong doing. I continued to ask why the teeth were so rough. She said they couldn't be rough because she only worked on the top surface, not the sides. I tried to explain that every tooth she worked on now felt like something had dripping over the sides and left them all "rough and sticky." She then argued she did NOT know what I meant by sticky. At this point I became really frustrated and said, "I am not a dentist, but I trust that you know what you did to my teeth and you know what you used on them. You did something to the surface of my teeth that has made them rough, so now there is friction and food "sticks" to the surface, that's what I mean by sticky." She dropped her head like I was an exhausting little kid, and said, "I just need to polish and the roughness will go away when you brush." Oh, "ok" I said,"why didn't you just say, it's gonna be really rough, but brushing will eventually make it smooth?" You know why, cause it's bullshit. She then sorta did what she considered "polishing" at one point she dragged like a cotton pad along the sides of my teeth, the damn thing caught and snagged, I thought oh good maybe if SHE discovers the roughness she'll do something about it because my proclamations aren't doing a thing to convince her. But no, the cotton pad snagged, she ignored it, and decided to talk only to the tech. She would ask if the polishing worked, I'd yes or no and then she would ask the tech what I had said, super unprofessional. I just wanted out of there at this point. She was able to polish one and a half teeth the others still rough... I'll just brush em to smoothness ( yeah right) till I can find another dentist. She told me if it still bothers me to come back later...NO WAY! Oh and I brought up the wound on my face three times, this dentist is very good at ignoring you, pretending she can't hear you or saying she doesn't understand you. She said nothing about the wound, ignored me. Weird! Why 5 stars? To ensure this review doesn't get taken down right away, I hope you can avoid this experience. Or at least consider not doing work you suspect might not be necessary, one crappy filling could be dismissed but I have 5 now, I wish I had gotten a second opinion or let her just fil the one X-ray proven cavity. The patients that rave about her must have been to REALLY bad dentists...you can do better than this lady, but I suppose you could do worse too. read more

I came all the way from Colorado to see my favorite dental hygienist of all time. Well worth the drive. Danielle Stanley is a highly skilled hygienist who does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. Her expertise in evaluating my teeth, restorations and gum tissue puts me at ease, My mouth feels so good after her cleanings. Anything she thinks needs to be checked is evaluated by Dr Park who is such a good dentist I know I am completely cared for here. The office is very clean and has all the latest in technology. UNPROFESSIONAL... This was my experience with Dental House i was having pain on my 2 upper right side of my teeth and also experincing bad headaches. so i googled for a dentist and found Dental House read their reviews and it was promising.so i called made an appointment went in got x-ray done. Dr park said i needed fillings on those 2 teeth so when they bought out the instruments they were going to use on my mouth the package the instruments were enclosed in looked like there was dry blood inside the packaging. so i panicked and anxiety kicked in, you know with covid-19 and all. so i asked Dr Park about those stains that looked like blood on the packaging and she just ignored me. i should have gotten up and walked "Ran Out" but my pain was really bothering me. she did the fillings and also got half of my right side of my mouth cleaned and went home. when the anesthesia wore off i still felt pain. and in between the teeth she worked on there was a sharp pointy ridge that i can feel with my tongue. so Douglas happen to call me 2 day's later. i told Douglas about it he said the pain was normal but did not say anything about the sharp ridge in between my teeth. so Douglas calls me back 2 day's later again to tell me they were canceling my cleaning appointment and they were not charging me for the 2 fillings Dr Park had worked on. and Douglas told me to go to another dentist very dismissive. you would think he would tell me to come in so Dr Park can have a look at the problem that I was having with the 2 fillings she had done on me. but no Douglas just told me to go to another dentist. and he also told me someone had come in with covid-19 and they were going to close the office for a couple of day's so they can clean the entire office. Dental House dismissed me with pain sharp edge and all i was so in distress they were so unprofessional. the whole experience was so disappointing and such a let down. i am just saying do not judge a book by it's cover save yourself from a very bad experience as well. PS. i went to another dentist and they had to Extract one of the tooth Dr Park did a filling on. I should not have lost a tooth like that. read more

Visited the Dental House (First Dental visit in 10 years) after I had a terrible experience at a Dental office in Texas. I figured that if my teeth gonna hurt I'll rather not pay somebody and let them hurt in their own accord. Anyways, I went in a week ago to get an exam and I must say, the friendly staff and great customer service is absolutely second to none. The staff assured me that things were going to be fine and that it's normal to have anxiety but we can take baby steps. They explained everything in detail from procedure to insurance to cost for procedures that I needed. I set up an appointment for week later and woke up not as worried and having full trust in the staff. I got there and felt like I had known the staff for years, they talked to ease my comfort and offered additional support. During the procedure they gave me the play by play of what was being done and what I should feel. They also checked in literally every minute to make sure I was ok. Dr Park and her staff are the Best Dental place in ABQ and wouldn't be surprised Country I recommend to any and all. read more

I was schedule an appt. at 8:30. Arrived early but had to wait due to that they were having a meeting. The Dr.'s husband came out to register me called me by a wrong name didn't ask. He said he didn't have my insurance update which I had gave them pervious week which the reps. copied so I didn't understand why they didn't have it. Then I hear the doctor saying if I had insurance in the background to the asst. Before receiving xrays for the back teeth the hygienist was saying that I need a deep cleaning before looking at my xrays or the doctor. The hygienist said that the scale between my teeth where around 4 then the doctor comes in to say I have 5 and 7 on the top back teeth which I have Periodontal Disease and would need a deep cleaning which they would have to numb. Before doing anything (cleaning or reg.) the hygienist say that I would have to come in every 3 months. My insurance pays only two and doesn't provide deep cleaning . The confusion was so unclear on how they or the doctor was explaining which I kept on asking does my insurance pay for the returning cleanings? She never answered but returning to 2017 where I had a deep cleaning saying that she paid for it back than. I needed a deep cleaning which I said what does 2017 have to do with today 2020. I ask what do I have to pay if the insurance didn't pay for the other three cleanings. She never answered. Before any cleaning was done I had to sign a notification of Periodontal disease paper with my initials on each line that I understood what Periodontal disease is and that I would agree to a 3 month cleaning schedule is required . I told them that I wasn't sure if my insurance pays for it that I would have to check first. The hygienist begin to proceed with the reg. cleaning and the deep cleaning only on the top back teeth. After it was done. No doctor came in to check my teeth on the cleaning like she usually does. As I was leaving her Husband said that he would like to talk to me in his office. This was unusual. I went he proceeded to tell and explain what the periodontal disease was show me google pics. and said that if I didn't not agree with the 3 months cleaning schedule which may be out of pocket at $54 dollars (which may be more) that he or the doctor was going to have the responsibility of have me have something worse happen to my teeth which he would have to let me go and seek another Dentist. I felt like this was a threat and uncomfortable about he talking with me. I told him that I was going to make sure my insurance might look at it . I wasn't comfortable with the hygienist at first, she didn't tell me her name but said I needed a deep cleaning which I said I was only here for my routine cleaning. It seemed that they were very unsure if I had my insurance with out checking, and the hygienist didn't have a count asst. to write the numbers down while she checked on the depth. Why would she tell me that they were 4's then having the doctor come in to tell me they are 5 and 7's . The Staff has been new from last years staff. It seems that they the staff doesn't stay long with them. I was very uncomfortable, unclear what they were explaining, and pressuring me to commit to being explained what my insurance pays and doesn't. or what the procedure entitled. I don't feel trust in this dentist establishment. I am seeking a second opinion and dentist. read more
