When it was replaced, I had to pay again because they said fillings are temporary, even though I've had fillings elsewhere that lasted 10+ years. The new filling has been sensitive for months, and I cannot chew on that side without sharp pain. Large pieces of food get stuck between my teeth, which is painful and uncomfortable. The way my teeth were filed makes chewing difficult and they look skinny and fang-like. The hygienist there even commented on how sharp they were. I gave them two chances to fix the problem, but now I have to go somewhere else and pay more to get it corrected. I do not trust this office anymore and would strongly caution anyone considering them for fillings.

they send a text message about a week before your appointment to confirm. if you don't respond,…read morethey automatically cancel the appointment and won't let you reschedule. they also charge you for the automatic cancellation. i work in a place that does not allow cell phones, so i didn't respond to the text. i missed the fact that my appointment was cancelled and drove to the office anyway, only to discover the automatic cancellation and charge. so i was charged even though i showed up on time for the appointment. make it make sense. this is such a bonkers policy, i have never seen it before. not only that but when i had a filling, they did not use enough Novocain because i was breastfeeding. according to my pediatrician, novocain is fine, and if i was nervous i could have "pumped and dumped" that milk. instead i was in pain the entire time. they also dropped a LIVE drill into my throat during the procedure. terrifying, the last time i went in for a cleaning, the hygienist scraped so hard i spat blood for the rest of the day. this was despite her saying "it's actually really clean in here! you are doing a great job!" i brush and floss daily. i woke up with a bad cold/cough/fever the morning i was scheduled to have three teeth filled (redos from their shitty work) and my entire mouth numbed. i called to try to cancel and was told i would be charged for cancelling late. this is wild, since i would be exposing everyone in their office to illness. at any rate, looking for a new dentist....

Had a bunch of homeless people on the steps outside you get to step over too. Then they charge you 15 dollars for osha fees I've never paid at any clinic ever - it leads one to think the office isn't doing good as they say they are - they also said that they'd be getting me in by around 3 - it was 320 after I came by fifteen minutes early to do paperwork for my first time with them.

She put a bib on me and poked around for a minute & looked at my X-rays & said I would need 2 crowns on "3 & 15" but that wouldn't happen today, this would just be a cleaning today. So I waited another 10 minutes. (by now it's 2:50) and another tech comes in to announce (over my right shoulder) that we're out of time so the cleaning will have to wait for the next appt. I said "I think we're done here - raise the chair please." And as I was getting up I was instructed to return to the reception area for check out. I knew this would rob me of another 15minutes so I quietly walked out. My appointment was with Dr. Juan Loyola and I never saw him. My initial interactions with Dr. Sirius were positive, and I developed a professional relationship with him due to his reputation as a prominent and respected dentist in the field, as well as my status as a police officer. However, I was disappointed to discover that Dr. Sirius informed me that the amount of work I required might exceed my dental coverage, which could result in additional expenses. Despite expressing my concern about surpassing my dental coverage, his team continued to schedule appointments for me to receive treatment, even though it was clear that I had surpassed my limit. This ultimately resulted in my incurring a debt of over $700, which left me feeling disheartened. I believe that Dr. Sirius and his team had the responsibility to inform me clearly and transparently that my upcoming procedure would not be covered by my insurance. As a result, I was left feeling as if I did not matter to the practice, and I now have a new dentist who prioritizes open communication and always informs me if a procedure will be covered by my insurance before treatment.
