Here's the correct one. " She said no. There was no further discussion on the subject as far as she was concerned. Funny thing, about a month later, I got a text message from the billing department at Dream Dental with "good news." They DID bill the correct policy number and got back over $800 in fees I had already paid. They asked if I wanted the check sent to me. I said yes. That was November 2024. I was so happy to have an extra $800 or so for the holidays! No check in November. No check in December. No check in January. I even called twice to follow up, and both times they acted like they had NO IDEA what I was talking about. I just hung up...I don't get into back-and-forth with people who are clearly jacking me around. Then it occurred to me. I had a cleaning scheduled in February 2025, and they are SITTING ON that money till I come in to put it towards other services they tell me I need. I called and cancelled the cleaning appointment without saying anything else. Guess what!?! The check arrived 3 days later.

We were referred by a very close friend whose kids were all treated here, and now we completely understand why they spoke so highly of this office! The consultation was exactly as promised--if not even better. They took the time to go over everything in detail: from the evaluation of our kids and addressing our concerns, to explaining treatment plans, financial obligations, and everything in between. Hannah was wonderful with our teens, making them feel comfortable as she took photos and gathered everything needed for the doctor to create a plan. The person who answered the phone was very rude and told me because I had had orthodontics done on my teeth before, their doctor would not see me and that this was common practice, so I should spend my afternoon calling every orthodontist in the area to see if they would make an exception (but Rawle Orthodontics would not). I explained that I hadn't seen an orthodontist in several years, had moved over 1000 miles away from that office, and therefore needed a new one, but they would not take me as a client for this reason. I was not asking for them to fix a broken retainer someone else had made, I was asking for a completely new one and would have been willing to follow whatever advice/procedure the doctor thought was best, even if it was not the original type of retainer that I had. I am very disappointed and already have an appointment with a new practice that thought this experience with Rawle Orthodontics was ridiculous.

Do your homework before committing to any orthodontist for braces. You'll have to make an appointment at least once every six weeks for two years. It'd be unfortunate to find yourself stuck in a perpetually inconvenient situation. The orthodontist should have hours convenient for you. The doctor here sees patients only a couple days a week, so the time slots fill up VERY quickly, and it can be difficult to get in when you need to. During the whole month of December, for example, there were about 6 days total that the orthodontist was in. During another month, I once called on a Monday to see when we could drop in to ask the doctor a question, or speak to him on the phone, and learned that he actually wouldn't be in the office at all until Friday. Maybe this is standard industry availability, but if i could go back in time, I'd make sure I knew all my options before committing to this particular orthodontist.
