I cannot recommend this Dental Practice as they are incompetent when it was clearly explained to them multiple times that my dental insurance would only cover two cleanings per year. I had no issue with the cleaning itself, and the hygienist did fine, However, regarding the office policies, They are extremely pushy, inconsiderate and disparaging. The dentist herself rolled her eyes and I felt that I was being insulted. They demanded to know why I would not do any additional dental work. I will never return. read more

Brought my two kids to this Dental365 location and they had a basic cleaning. I later learned that they charge $300 per kid and my insurance wouldn't cover it. All other dental practices in the area we've used never charged us this much out of pocket. The office failed to disclose the cost and refused to negotiate on the cost for a simple cleaning that probably took 15 minutes per kid. The number listed on the bill didn't connect to representative and the number that the office gave didn't either. We requested for office manager to call us back and no one returned our call. We won't be returning and can't recommend this practice to others given their lack of transparency on billing and the cost of teeth cleaning is more than a tooth extraction. (Note; I have had horrible experiences with dentists in the past and get so nervous going) But I recently finished clear aligners treatment and have not had a cleaning in probably two years. After someone recommending Dental365 on Merrick Road, I gave them a call. I wanted to see a new doctor for a cleaning as well as inquire about rebonding my two front teeth and possibly teeth whitening. They were able to make me an appointment the following week! When I made my cleaning appointment I was told I was going to see Dr. Ganci and that I'd be in great hands. And let me tell you... I WAS! When I went for my appointment, I was taken right away with no wait time. (Fill out the paperwork online before going FYI!) The hygienist that evening was fantasticcc. She was gentle, welcoming, and made me aware of all the steps. Dr Ganci came in when she was done and was great. After everything was done, we then discussed doing my front two teeth re-bonding. I felt very comfortable with what we discussed so I made an appointment to come back. Two weeks later I went and got my bonding done. He gave me some numbing so I can be comfortable and always asked how I was doing during the process. My teeth look fantastic! I now have another appointment to get new retainers with bleaching. If you need a periodontist, Dr. Schlesinger is an excellent doctor. Very pleasant and definitely knows what he is doing. I could not be happier. I broke my tooth at a party on Saturday night, called at 9 AM Sunday morning and was able to get an appointment immediately. Dr. Melnick was able to remove the old filling, create a 3D model of the tooth and build the new crown in the office relatively painlessly. I was able to walk out of there in a little under 2 hours with a new permanent crown. Awesome doctors, awesome service. I'm so glad my dentist joined this group! So, first I want to start by saying that I went to this place off of the reviews and the fact that I was in pain from an impacted wisdom tooth. I couldn't believe EVERYONE had the same great experience. I called and the wonderful Alexis greeted me ready to offer me an appointment within 2 hours. I came in and Alexis was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. The wait was minimal and I was called back by Lynette. How did I get so lucky? She was amazing from start to finish. We chit chatted like old friends. Lynette was attentive, knowledgeable and concerned. The facility is beautiful. Clean, state of the art and comfortable. I felt and knew I was in the right place. Dr. Bienstock came in and he was just as awesome. He explained everything to me so wonderfully that I was looking forward to having my tooth pulled (lol). My situation was a little challenging but Dr. Bienstock was beyond concerning and considerate with explaining my options. Coming from the healthcare industry, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the patient service and experience I received. Dr. Bienstock and Lynette pulled my tooth in a few minutes literally. Didn't feel a thing. I remembered the doctor saying I will feel pressure and next thing I know he said, "Ok. You're done." I almost didn't want to get up. Dental365 gained a new customer. What a great experience I just had!! First off, the front desk staff was kind, pleasant and easy to deal with. Yes they ran a few minutes behind but no one is perfect. My hygienist Adrianna (I hope I spelled this correctly) gave me an AMAZING cleaning!! I don't normally use that word but my teeth are white and shiny again. Came in for a toothache for my 13 year old daughter. She ended up needing a root canal. This was the most painful procedure one could imagine. My wife texted me from the waiting room because she heard my daughter screaming and crying. Pain could have been part of the nature of my daughter's particular issue, I don't know. However, it did not seem that proper care was taken. During the procedure, another hygienist said to the Dr that his next 2 emergencies were there and it did indeed seem rushed. The Dr asked the dental hygienist more than once for instruments that were not readily available and we had to wait. Frustration between staff members was apparent. He then proceeded to another patient and asked the dental hygienist to let him know when the instrumens were ready. At this point, there was a gaping hole in the tooth, and her mouth was propped WIDE open with what looked like pliers and the suction left in her mouth. 10 minutes and the hygienist explained he was with another patient because of the emergency nature of the office. Upon his return, my frustration was apparent and he concluded the first half of the procedure (what needed to be done that day). At checkout, the office was ready to forward records and the referral to a root canal specialist in their office. Bewildered, I explained that we are insured and I would find someone in network. She then informed me that specialist doesn't even take insurance. Unless you 100% need immediate medical attention, while your dentist is closed, power through it. read more

Went for round two but this time for a cleaning...and with the yearly plan they offer, Lynette left me with no choice but to have clean teeth, she was great up front. So was everyone else, cleaning with great, deep cleaning went better and filled a much needed cavity and didn't break the bank...I highly recommend this place cause I'm usually petrified of regular cleanings due to the sensitivity of my teeth and gums. My teeth I have never felt cleaner and it was completely pain-free. I'm so happy I found this place!! I almost didn't returned to Dental 365 because of Clarissa the dental Hygienist. She basically said she didn't know when I would be able to get my teeth cleaned because of my profession. My temperature was taken and it was 98.1 so she was surprised I have not taken a COVID test. Dental 365 sent and email and COVID testing was not part of getting your teeth cleaned.Carissa refused to treat me after I had to reschedule my appointment because she needed to leave early. Explain the whole procedure to me and had a meeting with the dentist who's going to do my implant. Made a payment plan suit my needs. I have been meaning to make this review. My daughter had a horrific experience here. I have had the opportunity to warn several people about going here, which is good. This place should be avoided. The front desk talks freely among themselves (about patients), violating hippa. Next, the dentist was not particularly nice either and dr bienstock had the bedside manner of a dried fig. They also charge almost double than any other dental office. We paid roughly 2,000 for the work my daughter had done (which was incredibly performed by a different dentist after such a dissatisfying consult) and here quoted well over 3,000. Do not under any circumstances go to Dental 365 on Merrick rd in Bellmore . I've been in excruciating pain since Wednesday with a terrible toothache . I went in there today and they took x-rays and came back into the room and said I had to pay 850 dollars for them to help me even though I have two insurance policies, mine and my wife's. I lost my mind! Even though the pain was almost unbearable I ripped off the bib a got out of there. Not before giving them a piece of my mind. I went to a different dentist for one quarter the cost with an entirely different diagnosis. Not only does Dental 365 jack up the bill they change what the doctor said and put a more expensive procedure on the bill. I, in no uncertain terms told the office manager that I would be reporting them for insurance fraud, at which time she told me to leave the premises. I don't think I've ever been more dissatisfied with a doctor than I was with Dr. Bienstock. I came in for a consultation due to severe jaw pain. Dr. Bienstock gave me one solution: Botox. It would cost $800 ($400 non refundable down payment) and would only last 3 months. In addition to the astronomical price, I was told repeatedly that it would not be covered by insurance because insurance companies never cover Botox even when it's being used for medical purposes. (I later found out that that is completely false). I left the office feeling very frustrated, not to mention, skeptical. Not even a half hour after leaving the office, I called to ask Dr. Bienstock a question about my diagnosis. I was told he had yet to update my chart and would return my call by the end of the day. Good thing I'm not holding my breath because I am still waiting for that phone call more than 3 days later. It is clear to me that once Dr. Bienstock realized I would not be paying for Botox that I could not afford, he had no further interest in helping me as a patient. Thank goodness I was referred to another oral surgeon for a second opinion. As someone who specializes in TMJ, not to mention, common curtesy, she was horrified to learn that Botox was even suggested as a treatment as my problem is in the joints and not the muscle. She thoroughly went over my X-ray with me, something that Dr. Bienstock neglected to do at all. After leaving Dental 365, I felt like I was not a valued patient simply due to the fact that I could not afford Botox. I am so thankful that I got a second opinion with an oral surgeon that actually cares about her patients and not just their wallet. read more

I hate to be the cause of a breakup.. But be prepared to leave your current dental office high and dry! One of the most frustrating parts of going to the dentist for me was actually being able to get an appointment that wasn't scheduled 3 months in advance! I called the Bellmore office on a Thursday afternoon and was able to be seen for a check up and cleaning on Friday morning! I arrived and the facility was very clean and inviting. The receptionist and the dental assistant were extremely pleasant, helpful, and ready to go at 8:58am! Since this was my first time at the office, the dental assistant took the initiative to contact my insurance company to be sure of what would be covered, so that at the end of my visit there would not be any surprises. Which I really appreciated. I wish I remembered her name she truly deserves recognition! (you know who you are =) ) When was the last time that you went to the dentist and they took a moment to exam the lymph nodes in your neck? I did not actually end up visiting this office, but I wanted to write about how incredibly kind and helpful the staff was! My husband was experiencing excruciating tooth pain, and his general dentist said his wisdom tooth needed to come out ASAP by an oral surgeon. While still at his dentist appointment on a Friday, I called to schedule the emergency extraction. Dental365 has great reviews! I called the Levittown office, and was pleasantly referred to the Bellmore office for a Saturday appt. The Bellmore office (Tracy) was SO kind and helpful; she made sure he was fit into the next day even though they were booked. My husband walked out of his dentist having had the tooth extracted after all! I quickly called back to cancel and the gentleman on the phone (I forget his name) was so understanding and nice. The staff all showed genuine concern over my husband's pain, and his pain relief was a priority. If I ever have a dental emergency, I am definitely coming here! read more

Fantastic experience. I went in for a wisdom tooth removal, and chose to remove all four after careful consideration and the options presented to me from Dr. Bienstock. The office was also very clean and emanated health. I was very nervous and anxious, but the doctor and an assistant did an amazing job.
