Hands down, the best dental office ever! As my 4-year-old put it: "This is the awesomest office ever!" I let the team know ahead of time that my daughter can be a bit of a challenge at the dentist--but they completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, Brook, Danielle, and Chloe welcomed us with genuine warmth and friendliness. Then Lajaylah, my daughter's favorite assistant, made her feel like she was on a fun adventure. When Dr. Richardson came in, it was over--my daughter is officially in love! She hasn't stopped talking about her dental visit and "Dr. R" ever since. Even without dental insurance, the level of care and kindness was 100% worth it. Dr richardson was caring to our kid. Very welcoming and kind. Unfortunately their billing policies are focused on revenue not individual care. Their billing department set an expectation of a nominal cost for our Childs cleaning. They encouraged us to get an X-ray done snd fluoride treatment. We advised them we were paying cash, not insurance. For a toddler one trip cost about $350. If your looking for a pediatric dentist who looks out for individuals rather than maximizing billings, id highly recommend you look elsewhere read more

My grown kids were patients of Dr. Richardson and are now using the adult side of the practice. I have switched as well because everyone is so friendly and they provide excellent care. The reason I didn't give the practice five stars is because the out-of-pocket cost is always a little higher than insurance pays. Their new location in Friendswood is really nice and convenient and I can't comment enough about how wonderful the staff is, so it's worth the extra cost to me.. read more

We drive over an hour because I have 10 yr old that LOVES Dr. Richardson and refuses to go anywhere else since he was 2 yrs old. We tried two other places before being referred to Dr. Richardson and both were horrible. Here he has had treatments done a few times and has had wonderful experiences every single time. We have been using Denistry for children and Bay Area Dental Specialist since my kids where small. The staff is friendly and helpful. Now at 18 Dr. Craig has removed both my kids wisdom teeth and the experience has been wonderful both times! They are amazing! read more

My kids have gone to Dr. Richardson for years. My son that is 19 now will not go anywhere else. He has gone to her since he was 5. We had a bad experience when he was young with another dentist and Dr. Richardson was recommended. We drive quite a distance to be able to see here but it is certainly worth it. She is a delight to meet and always explains clearly options and next steps. And now that she sees ADULTS my kids will probably go to her for years to come :) Always a great experience with her. read more

Our son had a bad experience with two other dentists and was petrified of going to the dentist...until we found Dr. Richardson. Our first experience here involved a sedation procedure and four crowns. No issues and we were kept engaged throughout the process. Our son now looks forward to going for his appointments. Just went to this dentist to have my boys' teeth cleaned. They are out of network for us, but our plan still pays 100% of "reasonable" fees for cleaning. It still costs me $144 PER CHILD to have the children's teeth cleaned. We will not be returning. read more

We love Dentistry 4 Children and recommend them to everyone! I have four boys ages 2, 4, 8, 9. Their mouths are not perfect and between them all we have had to have fillings, teeth pulled, caps, and the works done largely for reasons out of our control. Other dentist offices never really explained what was going on or causing the problems and my boys and I always left feeling upset like it was our fault. We always dreaded going to the dentist. But not anymore! I was determined to find an office where my boys and I felt comfortable going that would also perform great work, and we found exactly that with Dr. Richardson. She took the time and explained why their teeth were the way they were and what steps we needed to take moving forward. She reassured me that as far as the things I could control (diet, brushing habits) we were doing a great job which left me being able to walk out of the office confidently without any guilt or shame. I've never waited more than a few minutes for any of our appointments. We trust them 100%! They've never once forced either of our children for any type of treatment and I'm certain my kids art t always 100% cooperative. I took my 5 year old grandson here to meet Dr Richardson after I had extensively researched her. She was nice during the initial meeting, and told me that he needed a stainless steel crown I was hesitant to schedule as I really felt that perhaps a large filling would have been enough. Regardless, after listening to her, I agreed to the crown. In the pre-procedure room after my grandson had been given his valium, Dr Richardson explained that she would keep us updated with what SHE was doing and how the child was doing. She said to my grandon, "so, you'll have two dentists working on you today." I assumed they would be working together since she is the one I booked months ahead of time. She came out once during the procedure and patted my leg to tell me he was doing great. (She is always extremely hyper). Then a dentist that I had never met in my life called us to the consultation room to tell me what all that SHE had done to my grandson...she told me she washed around the nerve and had done a pulpotomy. OMG---I would never have allowed someone I had never met to do anything invasive. It was a true bait and switch. I was also told that he needed a second crown. Surprise...got a second opinion and was told that a filling was sufficient. I will not be returning to this office read more

I can't say enough about the excellent care my son has received over the years at Denistry 4 Children from both Dr. Richardson & Stagg. My very sensory-sensitive son has been a patient since he was 1 1/2 and Dr. Richardson and her entire staff have gone to great lengths to accommodate his (and my) anxiety. For the first 3 years, at Dr. Richardson's suggestion, we scheduled his appts during Dr. Richardson's lunch hour so no other appts were scheduled at the time. This allowed my son to not only be influenced by the anxiety of others, but it also helped him not to illicit anxiety in others with his own resistance. She also suggested appts at her Shadow Creek office, though we were Broadway patients, as the examining chairs are equipped with DVD players....great idea, Dr. Richardson!! Yes, it took multiple assistants to help us get through the visit, but because of the proactive thinking of Dr. Richardson coupled with her nurturing spirit, my son now has absolutely no issues with going for his checkups and he LOVES Dr. Richardson! For us, the key was to start early and to put our trust in Dr. Richardson from the very beginning. She hung in there for our first year of appointments though the anxiety my son felt and displayed was probably one of the more severe she and her staff had ever seen. We will always be grateful for Dr. Richardson and the environment she and Dr. Stagg have created in their practice, one of genuine care for their patients well-being and valuing the relationships with the families they serve. read more
