I really enjoy this dentist office. I have three younger kids who all go here. We have been several times now. My kids beg to go back to the dentist. I'm not sure why everyone else is saying they didn't like their experience except for the fact that it was during Covid and everyone was having not just a bad day but a bad year. I would not recommend this dental office. The front desk staff is very rude and unprofessional. We canceled our appointment with this office before ever even going back to see the dentist because the front staff was THAT BAD. Going to the dentist can be a source of anxiety on its own to begin with, so having rude staff when we arrived was a no go for our family. And it wasn't just our family that was treated this way, we witnessed the poor treatment of just about every other family that was checking in or out, as if those employees hate their jobs. We now go across the street to Smile Surfers and have enjoyed every single one of our visits. If you're hoping to find a good place for your kids to go, I would look elsewhere unless you have no other choice. The first 2 visits I had for my daughter were both rush jobs where the dentist came in, brushed some fluoride on her teeth, told us everything looked good and sent us on our way. The 3rd and most recent visit, they did x-rays which my daughter turned up with 5 cavities. The dentist that came in that day said she was giving us a referral to get the work done under anesthesia because she thought it was best and least traumatizing for her. I was upset and cried at the visit because I felt bad that my daughter had cavities but also was horrified at the thought of putting my daughter under for dental work. There was no option given. I felt like that was the only choice I had and that they didn't want to do the work on her teeth whatsoever. I thought they gave rush jobs the first two appointments and felt the same way at the most recent visit. I never once left with a warm and fuzzy feeling about them. So, obviously I called a different dentist office, Clearwater Dental for a second opinion. I was about to pay out of pocket for them to do work rather than use my state (free) insurance here!!!! My daughter just got her first cavity filled and let me tell you, she wasn't traumatized at ALL. Their staff was ALL AROUND better with kids than Dentistry for Kids who literally specialize in KIDS! I wish I would have read the reviews for this place before I ever went here because it seems they already have a track record of being pretty bad. Considering they're a "kids" dentist office you would think that they'd spend some time making the kids feel comfortable rather than rushing through things, but quite honestly they suck! I will say that their front desk ladies are great aside from the fact that when I put in a form to request my daughter's teeth x-rays to be sent over to Dentistry for Kids, they were contacted multiple times by the dental office as well as myself and they never sent them over which I feel is really unprofessional and petty. That actually pissed me off. But I'm cutting my losses and will never return and will encourage any parent friends of mine to NOT come here. read more

The dentist an aassistants are good, but the people at the front counter don't know how to do their jobs. I confirmed my appointment an they say I didn't, more than once. Then today at my kids appointment I tell the girls they need to learn how to do their jobs. The manager comes out an tells me I'm not allowed to talk to her staff that way then follows me an sits an stares at me the whole appointment. Very unprofessional. I don't usually write reviews, but our experience over the last couple years has been so awful that I decided to post in hopes to bring awareness to other parents. The reception department is wonderful, and this review is not a reflection on them. Janella was cruel to me and my children. Last year she sprayed water down my 3 yrs old throat and she choked--then tried to pretend like she didn't do that when I saw the whole thing. So inevitably, my children were afraid at their last visit. They didn't want me to leave their sides. I told Janella that we would take turns at our visit and go one at a time. She yelled at me and told me that wasn't possible. Then Kara yelled at me, also saying that's not how they did things there. But if my child is scared, I'm going to hold her hand--they do not have any empathy for children. We took turns as my children and I decided, while the staff glared at us. My children are extremely well behaved and there was no reason for the hostility. Then when my 4 yrs old was done with the dentist, Kara handed me the pack of fluoride and told me I could do it myself at home. She wouldn't even finish her job. I hope this review brings awareness to the supervisors to either have more professional staff or better training. Our kids deserve better, and so do I. read more

Nope. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else cuz this place is a joke. The front staff is super rude and it's quite clear they could care less about their clients. I took my kids (all three) here for the last 1.5 years for convenience as they are about a 2 minute drive from us. We had an apt scheduled for 6 months in AUGUST. We were gone camping with no service, came back specifically for this apt. Next thing you know, I have a message on my phone saying that my apt was cancelled because I didn't confirm the apt by a specific time. What?! I have never once had to do this. When I called to reschedule, the girl had zero empathy nor did she care. She then proceeded to tell me that my kiddos couldn't get in until the following month. No thanks. I'd rather go somewhere where my business is appreciated. It's very clear that this isn't the place. read more

Waited over 40 minutes past the time of our routine check-up appt, then rescheduled for the next day. Called the next morning to reschedule that appointment due to a realized conflict, and was told that I could not reschedule for any afternoons because they were in higher demand and I was cancelling within 24 hours, against their policy. I found this off-putting and decided to schedule with a competing clinic. I received a call from the same receptionist at Dentistry 4 Kids about 15 minutes later stating they had spoken with their office manager and could now get me in for the next day; I declined. read more

I have taken all of my children to this office for 7 years. We moved here from South Texas and were extremely pleased to find this place. My oldest daughter had a very traumatizing experience with her dentist in TX and Dr. Collette did an AMAZING job calming her nerves. (even through the fillings, cleanings, spacer removals, etc.) Lisa, the dental assistant was so kind and even took the effort to write my daughter a card and mail it a week later, with her favorite Hello Kitty stickers included inside. I recommend Dr. Collette to every parent that is looking for a new Dentist. We love him and his staff :) read more

I took my daughter here last month for a basic check up and cleaning. The front office staff was kind and seemed efficient. However that was not the case in the back. Our visit seemed rushed and I felt like we were being pushed through the process While many employees were discussing their upcoming lunch hour. The dental assistant asked us almost all the same questions we had already answered in the front. She told us that my daughter wouldn't need x-rays and when the doctor ordered them The assistant was very noticeably irritated. She took us to a dirty x-ray room and then had me and my two children wait in the hallway while she "cleaned" the equipment. However standard sterilization protocol wasn't followed. The check out process in the back office was very disorganized and also rushed. Needless to say, we will not be returning to an office that operates with no consideration for their patients. read more
