I was on a business trip far away from my regular dentist when I had a large piece of one of molars break off on a Sunday afternoon. Based on many positive Yelp and Google reviews, I left Badger Mountain Dental a voicemail and they got back to me early Monday morning and were able to get me into the office early in the afternoon. Their desk staff were very efficient and sympathetic to my plight and I was in the chair and seeing Dr. B within minutes of arriving. He told me that I needed a crown, but before they would proceed, they (not me) would contact my insurance company to get approval to proceed. With approval in hand, Dr. B numbed just the one tooth and quickly created the post. Then the tech came in and used a 3D scanner to create a virtual 3D model of all of my teeth on that side. Then she created a 3D model of the crown that she then exported to their 4-axis milling machine to machine the crown out of solid Zirconia. When it was done, it fit perfectly! After a few minutes of sintering in the kiln it was ready for service! All told, less than two hours after walking into an office and a dentist that I had never seen before I was walking out with a new crown. Their staff is friendly, efficient, and capable. Their equipment is modern and new and Dr. B is easy going, knowledgeable, and talented! If I lived in the area, I would definitely return. read more

I was thinking this was going to be an ordinary dental cleaning. Boy was I wrong! First I was greeted by the front desk staff who reviewed my insurance information and coverage before I was called back- something I liked because if there was something I couldn't afford- I did not want it to be a surprise when I get my bill- something no one likes. I was surprised by the massaging dental chairs and the t.v.s they have in each room to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I'm guilty of never flossing enough and instead of hearing the broken soundtrack of " you need to floss more", Anya (the dental assistant) and Dr. B told me of different styles and types of flossing I could do! If there was a dental-version of jeopardy- I'm sure that Anya would win. She explained to me the flouride levels in water in the Tri-cities, different effects of different toothbrushes... all the way to different mouthwashes and their effects on people! She customized the advice to fit my body- and best of all she made me feel at home! The front desk staff was great too-I I mentioned a promotion and they gladly handed me a FREE sonicare toothbrush! WOW!!! The only change I would make would be to offer manicures and pedicures while cleaning- but there is a salon next door for that : ) read more

Yesterday I visited Badger Mountain Dental in Richland, WA for the very first time and my experience was awesome! Dr. Larry Braithwaite, his beautiful wife Shanda, my hygienist and the staff are warm and friendly. Right away I felt very comfortable and at ease in their brand- new, state-of-the-art dental office with the latest 3D technology, Xray machines, adjustable chairs and scenic views of the surrounding Richland desert landscapes and views of Richland. The office is conveniently located next to Yokes of Richland and also a Dutch Brothers drive-thru coffee stand. I highly recommend contacting Shanda Braithwaite and scheduling a cleaning and examination by Dr. Larry Braithwaite and his staff of dental professionals. I had not been to the dentists in awhile, and I'll admit I originally picked Badger Mountain Dental because of their location, not because I had done any particular research. I got lucky, though, because I had a great experience. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They did a very thourogh cleaning due to how long it had been since I went to the dentists. The Hygenist was friendly and very gentle. I unfortunately had to get fillings, but the Dentist offered to do them right then and there, so I didn't have to schedule another visit. He did a really good job, too, absolutely no pain. They even called two days later to check up on me and make sure I wasn't sore. This is a great team of people, if you are looking for a dentist I would highly recommend them. read more

Greetings! If you're reading this review, your probably wondering "Why would ANYONE recommend a dental office???" I REALLY don't like being in the dentists chair. I would describe it as a borderline phobia and the ONLY reason I go for my bi-yearly checkups is because my wifes "encouragement" lol (Love yah honey). Now I'm not a stranger to pain and my pain tolerance is really high, but a dentists office.......crap. Badger Mountain Dental is as good as it gets. The staff is very empathetic, compassionate and hilarious! I had to have two very small cavities filled which pretty much sent my anxiety to the max! When I found Badger Moutain Dental, it had been several years since I had been to a dentist...and I needed a LOT of stuff done: a failed root canal tooth required extraction, a couple of fillings, a crown buildup to fix a chipped tooth, another chipped tooth fix, and a deep cleaning. When I found Badger Mountain Dental, I found an exceptionally caring, non-judgemental, friendly, state-of-the-art, family-owned office that put my comfort first while they worked hard to get me my smile and mouth health to 110% as soon as possible. Dr. B and his staff worked very hard to give me back my smile and I couldn't wait for each appointment...can't wait for my next one! I can't recommend them more highly! 5 stars? Overall experience was very good - no complaints, over several visits. Office environment is top notch and uses what appears to be up to date technology. Front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Kim H. made my first visit to a dentist in years a good and pleasant experience, articulating all she was doing and using extreme care in her trade - I couldn't ask for a better technician and she is who I will request for my boys in the future. Dr Braithwaite and his wife took very good care of my dental needs. They both paid plenty of attention to my needs and were transparent w/ insurance cost, priorities, etc. with no pressure. This is the most amazingly warm, compassionate and professional dental office I've ever been to in my life. Dr. Braithwaite is by far the most compassionate and knowledgeable dentist I've EVER seen!!! His office is impeccable and he has the most current and advanced technology to meet your dental needs; same day crowns- no kidding!!! I am a special case and needs a lot of hand holding because of previous bad experiences with other dentists. His staff is so warm and lovely and I'll be returning from here on out!!! We needed a new dentist when coming to this area. Badger Mountain Dentistry is close by so I decided to go for an overdue cleaning. Very clean, very professional and friendly. My son has special needs and previously I had to take him to the UW Hospital in Seattle for dental care. They were able to do the cleaning and exam for him as well. No hard sales pitch for unnecessary procedures as I had elsewhere. We are fans of Dr. B and the staff! read more

Such a good place to go if you're not particularly fond of the dentist. I'm not one who really like her gums being poked at but doctor B is so nice and gentle. It's such a calm atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Dr. Larry, Shanda, and their staff have taken wonderful care of my family's teeth. On-time, friendly, wonderful with the kids (very patient and soothing with my toddler who is afraid of the dentist and cried nearly the entire visit). By far the best experience I have ever had at a dental office. They were extremely customer savvy , very professional. My hygenist was amazing and sweet and the dentist looks like he's 20 years old, but don't let that fool you he knows his stuff.
