My teeth are basically the eighth wonder of the world now, and I owe it all to the rockstar team at this dental paradise. The vibe? He walked me through my X-rays and crafted a plan for my pearly whites' future like he was plotting a blockbuster movie. And the tech? Oh, they've got gadgets so slick, NASA's probably jealous. Two crowns on my left side and neither one matches the teeth on the right side! They also angle out instead of straight down. They continue to promise my x-ray copies, saying they emailed them, but they haven't. I have a right to my x-rays so now I have to go to the State to find out my next move. Dishonest and incompetent. 12 hours after getting a root canal and the whole procedure is just a pleasant, mildly humorous memory. 10/10 would do it again. My family doctor says Dr. Anderson is "the dentist the other dentists go to", he's that good. His staff are personable, easy to love, knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Zentz helped me with a mouth appliance treating sleep apnea and is very patient with me through the entire process. read more

As good as it gets for the dentist. Dr. Anderson has been very helpful to me and my family. My kids love going to his office to get their teeth checked. They even call him uncle! Anderson Dental has the latest and greatest equipment, but, more importantly, Dr. Anderson is an expert in dentistry. I have never had a dentist that is as passionate about his work and has done as much continuing education as he has. Another reviewer complained about the price. It's probably true that Anderson Dental costs more than some of the other dental offices around town that specialize in state aid and higher volume, but the comparison isn't apt. It's kind of like comparing a Ford Focus to a BMW Z3... In a very competitive market, the old adage stays true: you get what you pay for. read more

Beware! Watch out for overpriced office visit. In order to get an estimate of dental work, they tell you, you need a $375.00 x-ray first. Then they hand you an estimated bill that is outrageous. Having no insurance to cover the cost, I am stuck with a worthless x-ray.. Look else where please. They do not care about a patients care just their money. read more

So an interesting thing about this business related to Yelp. This dentist office has had 34 reviews that yelp removed and does not recommend to be considered or factor into his score. Could make one think he is having friends/family of his or his staff do false reviews or is paying for people to post positive reviews to pad his rating to offset all the bad reviews. Think about that. If that's the case would you trust this man? Let me share my experience and why I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. I went to Dr Anderson when I changed jobs and my old dentist was not a preferred provider with my new insurance. What I found when I got there was a nice office that is almost half empty. I also found out the hard way that Dr Anderson is WAY too expensive! Go here if you like paying more then double over other dentists in town. Work was not all that great! Had a retainer made and it was poor quality, virtually paper thin and ripped the first time I removed it. As I am in the chair he started pitching me on all this other work he said I should have done like wisdom teeth extraction, whitening, implants etc. When I said that sounds like it is adding up to be a lot of out of pocket expense he started selling his in house financing partner which charged interest rates higher then my credit cards. It soon became clear to me that Dr Anderson was much more interested in up selling me then consulting. So I asked for a written estimate on the work he recommended. I shopped around including my old dentist office and found I could get the same work done in multiple places for less then half what Dr Anderson was charging. In addition his office threw away the impression and mold I bought and paid for only about 5 weeks earlier, without telling me or even giving me the option of taking it home. I found this out when my dog got ahold of my retainer and I called to have another one made. They told me I would have to come in and pay for new impressions and molds all over again. Needless to say I went to another dentist had a mold made and TWO retainers for just about half what Dr Anderson charged me for the one retainer previously. The added benefit was that the new cheaper retainers from a well established office in Kennewick were much higher quality and fit better as well. In summary I learned a valuable lesson by going to Dr Anderson. Buyer beware, do your homework and shop around even with a dentist. Since some apparently operate the way a car dealership does. Up sell, Up sell, Up sell and try to get you to use their captive financing also. What a deal! I stand by the accuracy of this review, my opinions and experience with this business 100% in spite of Dr Anderson's response to this review. read more

came in last year about getting snap on veneers and the dentist kept sidetracking what i wanted and told me if i wanted a smile id have to pay about 20,000 dollars for smile reconstruction. but thats not what i wanted and he kept pushing me and pushing me towards having tooth implants in order to get veneers. ive gone a whole year thinking all was lost because of that dentist. turns out he was wrong. i couldve been smiling with confidence the whole time. i find anderson dental to be greedy and money hungry. no family values at all! i am only giving them 1 star because there is no option for 0 stars. do not go here! read more

I've been coming to Dr. Anderson for 15yrs and now my whole family comes. Always greeted with a friendly hello and I highly recommend their office. They feel like "friends" and not a dentist office. I have never worked with a dentist that I felt had my pocketbook in mind....unless it was what they could get OUT of my pocket. Dr. Anderson and his staff are just the opposite! They have worked with me to ensure that I get the care I need but with the least out of pocket expense possible. The office staff, assistants, hygienists and doctors are friendly and professional. Dr. Anderson is not a very patient/malleable dentist with children who are nervous about dental procedures. He told my 10-year-old child, who was willing to cooperate but quite apprehensive and a little weepy about having oral surgery, "You're too old to act this way." No, thank you. I've been a patient of Dr. Anderson since I was a kid. I can't exactly remember when I started seeing Anderson, but I know it's been a long time, before the office move. Growing up with Anderson as a dentist most likely prevented me from any ill thoughts about going to the dentist and I've always been satisfied with everything he's done. Another reviewer on here claimed that Anderson is dishonest and tries to upsell you and recommend procedures that you may or may not need and I can attest to none of that being true whatsoever. Not once has Dr. Anderson unnecessarily suggested something that would be considered upselling (such as recommending a tooth whitening or going through their financing). He always recommends what's best for a patient; I say this as I had orthodontic work to fix my bite, straighten my teeth and create space for congenitally missing lateral incisors starting about two years ago. Dental implant surgery was suggested to replace the teeth and implant surgery in the United States is notoriously expensive, as is all dental care. I took time shopping around to see about getting the best bang for my buck, even reaching so far as to get it done at the UW dental school. Long story cut short, Andersons quote was competitively price if not even more reasonable considering the drive. It is important to remember that you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to your health. The quality of work done by this clinic is always above and beyond. I had the implants placed by Anderson and the procedure was as painless as possible; there was a point where I could slightly feel pain and Anderson was more than willing to inject more anesthetic to ensure that I was completely comfortable. The knowledge of him and his staff is always comforting and they are always willing to tell in complete detail what was done. I've never left the office unsatisfied with my visit and will be saddened when I leave Tri-Cities as I'll also be leaving a great clinic. read more

Let me start by saying that Anderson Dental is wonderful! Leaving my hometown along with my dentist was a big change and I did not know who I would go to for my dental needs. At the time I was living in Canyon lakes and heard about Dr. Anderson from some of my neighbors. I decided to drive past his office one day and was pleased to see such a beautiful office. I decided to make an appointment for my annual check up. From the moment I called to make the appointment the staff at Anderson dental have been nothing but wonderful, helpful, friendly and accommodating. I was able to get the time and day I wanted and they even rearranged their schedule to fit me in when it was convenient for me. When i arrived at the office I was greeted by the very friendly and welcoming reception. The interior of the office was beautiful, very clean, professional and welcoming. I especially love the wall of photos of his family. It is so nice to see the man behind the dentist and it made him feel relate-able and allowed me to feel very "at home". My appointment went very smoothly and Dr. Anderson and his assistants were so wonderful, friendly, precise and thorough. At the end of my appointment he showed me my cavities and not only explained how I can prevent them, but gave me the option to wait or to fill them. I did not feel pressured at all to do my fillings and felt like I was well informed. After my smooth visit i made appointments for my cleaning and one of my fillings. My filling and cleaning appointment was very pleasant and pain-free! I am so glad I found Anderson dental and recommend his office to everyone! I have another story from Anderson dental that I wanted to share because I was so impressed by them. My mother was visiting me from Seattle and was complaining of some pain in her mouth and wanted to see a dentist. Since I had such a great experience with Dr. Anderson at Anderson Dental I immediately called them to inquire if they could see my mother for an emergency appointment. I was again greeted by their friendly reception and they were able to schedule us in that day. They even rearranged their schedule to make sure we could be seen. My mother was seen by Dr. Zentz, who is another dentist at Anderson Dental. He was wonderful and my mother loved him! He was very friendly, professional and really listened to my mothers concerns. He did a very thorough look at my mothers mouth and found a large cavity that must have been there for years! My mother has been going to the dentist regularly and her dentist never mentioned and/or found this cavity! Dr. Zentz did a wonderful job explaining everything to us in detail when he gave us the treatment options. He said it would be very difficult to fix, but he would try his best. He was able to complete her treatment of a large filling and crown that day and my mother (who is very picky) said it was the best experience she has had at a dentist. It has been about a month after her treatment and she is completely out of pain and loves her new crown. Dr. Zentz and Dr. Anderson are both so wonderful and I recommend them to everyone! I really felt that they both cared about our needs, our health and what was the best treatment for us. I've never felt pressured to do any extra or unnecessary treatment. I've been to a lot of dentists and this office is by far my favorite! They really treat their patients kindly, fairly and with compassion. If i could, I would rate Anderson dental more than 5 stars!
