Sealant usually last for years if they were placed in the first place. If this is not highway robbery I don't know what is. If I tell you I was taken advantage of that would be an understatement. Also charged me for x-rays for my wife that they have never provided me copy of even though I specifically asked them for copy of all x-rays.

First of all, I asked if my insurance would cover my regular dental checkup and was told it would. I in fact discovered after the fact that this office was out of network, which led me to incur personal expenses out of pocket. As these are almost always avoidable, I found this very disappointing. Second, I was given an XRay without being warned of the possibility that I would have to pay out of pocket for it. Apparently the XRay that was provided was a special type of XRay that is only covered for me once every few years, while a normal XRay would have been covered. I'm disappointed that I was not informed about this, as it would have saved me literally hundreds of dollars. Third, I discovered that the office never filed a claim with my insurance provider, meaning I wasn't going to receive even a partial reimbursement from my insurance. It wasn't until 7 weeks later when I inquired about the status of my case that the admins at Omene filed this claim. The dental practice itself seems to be high quality but given that I've never had so many problems on the administrative side before, I felt that this was a fair score.

From the super sweet girl at the front desk to the woman who cleaned my teeth and let me just say she was super gentle and did a THOROUGH job, I couldn't tell you the last time someone spent that much time cleaning my teeth. Then there was Dr. Preston, he is super awesome and has a great sense of humor.. I unfortunately had multiple cavities so I needed to go back. I went back today and of course my visit went well! I had to get 2 crowns replaced over the summer and Margie took time to look at my insurance and let me know exactly what to expect. The office was very accommodating getting me in for the temps and the replacements and I felt extremely safe with the measures they've taken to protect patients due to Covid. I still commute two hours to visit them for Dr Marcantonis and they didn't tell me that my appointment was at risk of being cancelled so i drove 2 hours this morning and arrived about to pull into their office and they called to say they couldn't get me a hygienist. After asking her to stop and get the actual dentist, he came in and whisked me out the door with a referral to a specialist. Well, I've started treatment with the specialist and it turns out that their readings, while not good, were not nearly as bad as what this hygienist indicated. And yeah, my mouth hurt after her "examination" for maybe 3-4 days. After a deep cleaning at the specialist office, I was sore for maybe 2 days maximum. Dr. Voss did not charge me for the visit, only the xrays she (finally) got with some panoramic type imaging system.

For example, his suggestion as to how to correct a tooth issue was to cut the molar down to the gums and eventually the gum would cover the roots. Another time he said to make the gum bleed when I brushed my teeth and yet another time he took a new toothbrush out of packaging and brushed upright on the gum which I now have an infection from that is to just give a few examples.
