I was looking for a pediatric dental office that's open on Fridays and found Eagle Crest. As a first time mom I wasn't sure what to expect with a first dental visit, but apparently it's pretty simple! Dr. Rose was so friendly and the staff were great at warming up my little one up to the new environment. They even put our name on a sign along with other kids who were coming that day so we felt welcome! Apparently the kids don't actually sit in the chair until 3+ so we'll come back every 6 months and have our child lay on the dentist and I knee-to-knee for quick checks. We came to Dr. Rose and Eagle Crest Pediatric Dentistry after recommendations from a local parent community site. We were looking to move from an out of network provider to one that took our plan. Other parents raved about Dr. Rose. They were right. She's terrific. The practice is located in an older shopping center on the corner of West Chester Pike and Eagle Road. Inside it's clean and bright and kid friendly without being overwhelmingly so. They have one TV that was showing "Aladdin" in the waiting room, quietly, for example, but none of the germy crates of toys or 'activity stations' you see at a lot of other pediatric practices. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The treatment area is likewise bright and clean, not cluttered. A couple of TVs showing the same movie as in the lobby. There is one general treatment area with three chairs/stations set up. Dr. Rose scoots from station to station on a wheeled stool, while one dental hygienist works at each station. It sounds chaotic but it's really not, it's quite efficient. The kids when they're done get a token to put in a multi-compartment dispenser. My young 'un - *almost* too cool to get a "prize" - got a felt stick-on mustache. Dr. Rose is very pleasant and nows how to speak with children and parents without coming across as fake, overly friendly or condescending. You get the impression that she completely loves what she does. We were very pleased with the experience at Eagle Crest and are looking forward to our next visit. read more

My husband took my daugther here for her first dentist appt. Staff members are very patience and understanding. Very caring and are very accommodating. Both my kids go here. They're 2 and 1. I would highly recommend it. Office is nice and clean and they're very professional. My daughter has to have dental surgery and stacey took time to sit and explain all the details to me. We went here on the recommendation of other local parents. It's hidden behind Starbucks, but easy to get to and parking is plentiful. From the video game screen in the waiting room to the gumball prize machine at check-out, they take great care to accommodate kids. My only gripe is that there has been no consistency in which dentist our kids see. In the 5 or so times we've been in, we've met with 4 different dentists. I wish they would tell you who you are booking an appointment with. read more

My husband and I love this place!! What's more important is that our children love this place. My daughter is at ease and relaxed. All the dentists here are great, but so is the Admin backup. We had a coverage issue with Blue Cross. Without Velisia's help it would never have been resolved. Thank you Velisia! There are many pediatric dentists near us, but it is well worth our effort to Drive 30 minutes to Eagle Crest. read more

My son is 7 and we had to find a new dentist after 4 years with our previous dentist who recently stopped accepting dental insurance & is cash only. Our experience yesterday was exceptional! The office is clean, warm, & welcoming. The entire team is professional, friendly, and efficient. I was so impressed with how they utilized the previous records from our other dentist to make decisions. My son has Cystic Fibrosis and the team wanted to be sure they connect with his Physcian to see if there are any specifics important to his dental care as it relates to his condition. Dr. Stollman also referred us to an Orthodonist stating that she may be able to do something now to prevent the need for braces in the future. Our last dentist told us to begin saving our money, that our son would need 2 sets of braces to fix his teeth! SO HAPPY we made the switch. This practice is FANTASTIC! read more

This place is amazing! I took my three children here for the first time yesterday. When we walked in we were greeted by the very friendly receptionist and I also noticed there was a small dry erase board which welcomed new guests. It was great to see my children's name on the board! They loved it too! The wait to be seen was not long either. They saw all three children at the same time. My children (3,5,&13) were so at ease thanks to the wonderful staff members. They walked me through everything they were doing and also gave me some great tips. At the end of the appointment my children were given a silver coin to take to a bubble gum machine filled with small prizes. That really made their day! I would definitely recommend this business! While I was an emotional mess Dr. Rose. and her entire team was AMAZZZZIIINNNNGGGG, they made me feel comfortable and at ease with the entire process. Instead of babying the baby they needed to take care of me and that meant a lot. Dr. Rose and her all-female multicultural team of dental professionals are truly a breath of fresh air (not to mention role models to my two girls). Two important notes: 1) they accept Delta Dental Insurance and 2) Se Habla Espanol :) I called for an appointment on a thursday and got in for a monday - so fast easy and convenient. I was able to download all necessary forms online and it just made my experience with them smooth and easy. This practice is clean, modern and roomy and each staff member truly seems to love working with children. My kids (ages 4 & 2) were given dental exams, cleanings plus a fluoride topical application and the service was both friendly and impeccable. Buyer beware. Came here last year and the experience with Dr. Stollman was great (5 stars, thank you). Came back this year and saw a different dentist & dental assistant. Experience was terrible and the worst part is they insisted my daughter has 7 cavities. Followed up with a different dentist and she has NO CAVITIES. Saw the x-rays with my own eyes. Dr. Kwon was wonderful during my little princess procedure. He was friendly, personable and gentle with her. My daughter and I both felt comfortable during the procedure. Following the surgery it appeared she didn't feel any discomfortable. She began eating solid foods after a few hours. Dr. Kwon and his team was great. And I can't forget to mention Dr. Rose, who has been equally considerate in caring for my daughter's oral health. The more I spend time with this practice, the more I come to adore them. I absolutely have to gush about Eagle Crest pediatric dentistry in Havertown, especially Dr Rose and the hygienists. I am an extremely grateful mom today. My son has high anxiety at the dentist, Autism, ADHD and sensory issues that cause a lot of sensitivity with tooth brushing/dental work. The hygienist took a TON of time to explain each and every tool on the tray, let him check out all the tools for himself so he knew how they felt and wouldn't be afraid, did not pressure him to do anything he wasn't totally comfortable with, and when he didn't want to lay down in the chair and preferred to sit upright, she did whatever she could to clean his teeth, going out of her way to make sure he was comfortable and felt secure, even if it meant her having to get out of her chair and "follow" him. Dr Rose was also the most gentle, encouraging and SWEET dentist he has ever had. He liked her so much, he reached out to hold her hand after she was done with the exam. I was so blessed and amazed by how well they cared for him, I had to post about it here and suggest them for anyone who has a child with dentist anxiety or special needs. read more

We've been so happy with Dr. Rose! I chose this practice originally because it accepted my insurance and is close to my home. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see the Best of the Main Line award. I was even happier when I saw the doctor's warm smile and heard her start talking to my kids and making connections to their world. She put them right at ease. My child has autism and that can make going to the dentist a difficult experience. Dr. Rose and her staff are wonderful. I consider it an absolute blessing to have been referred to Eagle Crest Pediatric Dentistry. We were given an appointment for a time when the practice was not too busy. We entered into a very clean and bright waiting room. The area was not cluttered with all of the germy toys that one usually sees in offices. We were taken to another waiting room with a door that closed (at my request). This second waiting room was also bright and clean. It had some books and Alladin was playing in the background. We did not have to wait long before seeing Dr. Rose. Dr. Rose is lovely! She took her time with little one. She was extremely professional and very cool. She was kind, patient, and presented me with all of the information that I needed. Her staff was also very professional. They allowed my little one to walk around the practice. She didn't want to leave. I am so glad that I found a dentist that I can trust to work with my special needs child. read more
