The email also states it will take approximately 2 weeks for "records releases". IT'S BEEN 12 WEEKS AS OF TODAY AND STILL NO CONTACT FROM ANYONE!! What appears to be his personal cell phone number listed in the email is useless, as no one will answer. Lastly, I sent a certified letter to his home address that I found on the voter registration site. THE JERK WON'T EVEN PICK UP HIS CERTIFIED LETTER WHICH I SENT "RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED"! That was two weeks ago. Today I called in to the Tom Martino Troubleshooter show, and it seems they plan to help me locate him. This is absolutely outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I definitely understand understaffed however this was completely unprofessional. If you don't have enough employees, stop taking new patients! I ended up coming to a new dentist, they did a full exam new X-rays and stated not seeing any infection or need for a deep cleaning, concerns of why a antibiotic was prescribed. At Dental Care, I was given a treatment plan that seemed to include crowns on nearly every tooth, which felt very excessive and overwhelming. At another dental office, I was treated much better. I didn't feel judged, and the staff seemed more focused on preserving my natural teeth and finding other practical treatment options. After being evaluated there, I was told that I only needed two crowns and that the remaining teeth could be treated with fillings. The second dentist quoted me a fraction of the price I was given here. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major or expensive dental treatment. The staff at the new clinic also mentioned that many of their patients come to them for second opinions after receiving treatment plans from Dental Care, which made my experience feel even less isolated.
