She created my lifting program for me each week, I completed my workouts at home and sent her videos of my lifts throughout the week for feedback, and every month I visited her awesome gym in Baltimore for an in-person coaching session. Choosing to work with Emily was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my fitness journey. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable about lifting, but she's also fun, patient, and encouraging! My form on all of my lifts (squat, deadlift, overhead press, and bench press) improved dramatically as a result of Emily's coaching. She pointed out corrections that I would have never noticed on my own. Her guidance gave me the knowledge and confidence to add some serious weight to my lifts and now I'm stronger than I have ever been in my life. If you're considering a membership or coaching with Emily or anyone at Fivex3, just go for it! You will be incredibly happy that you did!

Fabulous gym I live…read morein Minnesota, where there is no Starting Strength gym. A year ago I went to a Starting Strength seminar in Wichita Falls, Texas. I've been training consistently but had a very inconsistent deadlift and some chronic form problems on my squat and press. Craig fixed all of that in one private session. Worth the money. Worth the time.

Shoutout to CorePower's buddy pass perk where you get to bring a friend up to twice a month! The HPF class is a slower pace and doesn't have any typical vinyasa flows. It focuses mostly on balance, flexibility, and stability. And it's heated so expect to break a sweat! The locker room is small but not as small as the Rotunda location and thankfully, there were 4(?) showers to choose from whereas Rotunda only has 2. I probably won't be returning to this location simply because Rotunda is a closer drive but it's a nice option to have if I'm in the area.

First things first, the staff is nice and I really do enjoy the instructors. I enjoy the C2 classes the most, but I also enjoy the HPF and corerestore classes at least twice a week. That said, the studio changed schedules and such and I find they don't offer those class types enough. You can tell that it's very oriented toward Yoga Sculpt, as that seems to be the most common class offering. Another problem I have with the studio is that there's huge windows in the actual room and often you can see people looking in at the class, or worse, if it's dark, you will have to deal with annoying headlights gleaming in through the window during practice or shavasana. I don't know why they wouldn't have blinds or like a film covering the windows to prevent this. Overall, I've enjoyed parts of my time here but I am canceling my membership in search of a more holistic practice and offers a wider range of restorative classes and harder flows. I could see myself purchasing a class pack to occasionally drop in for one of my favorite instructors, but other than that I don't find it is personally worth the price I am paying. If you are looking for a studio that mainly focuses on sculpt or more intense flows, this could work for you. The trial period is nice.
