I've kept my mouth shut for 16 months all in the name of kindness and patience but I. AM. DONE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DENTON GLASS!! The owner is the worst manager I've ever done business with! Super kind person when we've spoken with him, but terrible manager. We had to remodel our bathroom 16 months ago due to termites. We called every glass company and Denton Glass was the only company that would come out this far. We had used them 8 years ago and everything went fine so we set a date to have new shower glass installed. For 16 months it has been a run around. They come out and measure. They come back with the wrong size glass. That happened several times. Or workers show up at our house and don't even know why they're here and can't do the work because they didn't bring what was required. They scratched the trim installing so we waited for new trim. Here's a kicker. When they finally installed it, it was upside down. ‍ We finally got that fixed but it's so crooked it's unbelievable. The trim doesn't fit right because it's cut at a 90° angle but they didn't line the glass up at a 90° angle. They've been out several times to "fix" it but all they do is measure again and say they'll call us. They make us send pictures of it yet again. And to top it all off, they somehow managed to get silicone caulking alllllll over our bathroom floor, bathroom counter, and all over the shower tile. We have used every cleaner we can find that's supposed to remove caulk and it doesn't budge. It looks terrible. Oh and they didn't tell us they got caulk everywhere. They just tried to clean it up with our bathroom towels and tracked it all down our hallway. We literally couldn't walk down our hallway with socks on for 3 months because it was so slippery we would fall. And yes we asked them to clean it up but even they can't figure out how to get it off. Oh and yes they've broken two tiles, fortunately we can fix that ourselves. The manager doesn't answer his phone. The workers have even told us that the manager himself doesn't show up to work or answer his phone for them. They said they come to work and no one can tell them what they're supposed to do that day. Today we got a call that everyone called in sick including the manager. That's happened several times. Sickest people I've ever seen in my life. Don't use them! read more

I just completed and great experience with DGC, Denton Glass Company. No hard sell in the beginning. I called a few other company's who sent mail. They were too custom and too hard to get an estimate from. Denton Glass sent a rep over in a matter of days and they replaced what was needed. He asked if I had questions and we chatted about a better glass in the future to save on energy bills. But, I didn't have to have my wife there with me and I wasn't told to reserve 90 minutes of my evening. I had Denton Glass replace two of three bathroom mirrors that had been cracked during earlier renovations. Both mirrors replaced by Denton Glass have failed within a couple of years. I called Adam, the original Denton Glass installer, come over to quote on other repairs needed as well as look at the two failed mirrors. It took weeks for him to show. He said it was because he never responds to calls to his cell phone. After inspection of the two mirrows he had originally installed, he said that they failed due to moisture. I pointed out that they were installed in a bathroom and the third, still original, mirror had not failed and it's been in place since1962. The mirrors they installed were subpar and did not match the fit, form or function required and needed to be replace. Bathrooms will have moisture. I also requested quotes on two other jobs. The quote returned did not mention any warranty repairs and no descriptions, other than length and width, of the product he would be using for the new work. Very unprofessional. Absolutely terrible service. Took months of calling to try and get a quote for a large number of windows, and tried again -- then I had to keep calling AGAIN for an amount. The owner of the business came out and measured my shower glass install. Three times the glass was cut incorrectly. On the third visit, a worker whom I never met gave me the hard sell on the glass not fitting correctly. I told them it was not the right fit. I was told they would re-order the correct fitting glass and then would contact me when it was ready. Today, the owner and two others came out with the same piece of glass and insisted it was a new piece to correct size. I asked to see proof that this was not the same glass as before and the owner started talking in circles. He said it was as good as it was going to get. I told him I was not pleased and had lost faith in him and as company as I knew I was being lied to. I reluctantly agreed to take a discount and have them install the glass anyway, after all it had been over 2 months since it was due to be finished. The owner then silicone in the glass and did a very poor job, uneven, smeared, rough, not at all finished looking. He said as he left, the more he tried to fix it the worse it looked. And he was absolutely right. I would not work with them again, they are nice enough, but not at all customer oriented. They messed up my job 4 times in a row, three wrong cuts, and a rough job of silicone, finished look is not great. I especially did not like the hard line sales pitch to get me to accept less than craftsman like work. I am a contractor myself and no push over but in the end, I settled to get them off the job. read more
