And you would think for a dealership with a service dept on site they would diagnose and correct all of the problems before they sell the vehicles, but they don't. They either patch them up and hope you don't notice for two months or I have the worst luck in the world. The vehicle I bought myself ended up being in the shop for at least a month after I discovered it's issue. Thank God I found it a week before my warranty was up or I would have been on the hook for the $5,000 it cost to fix the problem. But it didn't come without a fight. It took the dealership two attempts to fix the vehicle. The first time they fixed the wrong thing, and when I told them I was still having the same issue they told me they weren't going to fix it. We eventually got on the same page and they took my vehicle for another two weeks and finally repaired it. For that I'm grateful. But now the vehicle I bought my grandmother had the check engine light come on. Mechanic comes out to give it a tune up and finds the spark plugs are covered in oil. Boom! It needs a new valve seals. My mechanic says "it looks like it's been this way for quite some time". I bought the car less than a year ago. Unfortunately the warranty has expired on this vehicle. So I'm on the hook for this one. I'm not saying don't buy a vehicle from this dealership. But I am telling you to take your car to a mechanic as soon as you drive it off of the lot to find any issues before your warranty expires. Because from my experience it doesn't seem to me like their service department has their customers best interests at heart.

I called and was told they would take care of me... after a month of waiting and following up to see if the stuff was in the mail I went and bought it myself. It's not a big deal- but I like it when people follow through on their word and it was a bummer to spend $25,000 on a truck and then have to go get the things so I would not get stranded on the side of the road. The tire lugs also requried a special key to take them off that did not come in the truck- maybe they were unaware of this but that also cost $260 to get them removed and replaced. I like the truck but would not go back to Sterling in the future.

TSG auto does a great job with customer service and making the job easy. Justin, my sales representative, was friendly and professional-- very low pressure. The vehicle itself is not a quality vehicle. I had not realized the car was not a smoke free vehicle. The day I purchased it was very cold out so I hardly noticed the smell. The smell is very bad. I was a bit surprised there had been no treatment done. This is on me for not reading the advertisement properly-- but just want to be clear to everyone to keep an eye out for these things. It also wasn't cleaned thoroughly before purchase which was surprising. I was also promised a full tank and once I left the lot-- I noticed I was on empty. I didn't feel like bothering to turn around-- TSG auto offered to fill me up if I drove back. Only a couple of days after owning the vehicle the battery completely died. AAA replaced my battery and indicated the battery was just old. To be fair, when I called TSG Auto about the issue the offered to resolve. Only a couple days after the incident with the battery I noticed there was a leak in the front right tire. After more inspection I realized that the tire was very old and unsafe-- I've had to replace all 4 tires only 3 months into owning the vehicle so keep an eye out for this as well. Takeaway: Buying process is simple and easy with low pressure sales techniques. If you are buying from TSG Auto do a thorough inspection of the vehicle-- know what you are doing. Just like any other used dealer. I would still purchase from TSG Auto but I would have done a better inspection of the car and purchased for a more fair price.

The sunroof fabric just fell off. The car was dirty in the back I had to clean it myself. I brought it up and he said to bring it back next week. They did nothing but glue the sunroof fabric on which was coming off the same day they fixed it , it took them all day I asked if anything else was fixed, now he's saying I have to fix the brakes and do the oil change myself as well as the radio all they did was glue the fabric to the sunroof.
