I had a disappointing experience at this dealership. As a young woman shopping for a car, I came in with my mom and brother, and the salesman immediately assumed they were the buyers instead of me. Most of the conversation was directed toward them, which made me feel like I wasn't being taken seriously. Before we even saw the car, he sat us down to talk paperwork and pricing. When I asked basic questions, he seemed annoyed rather than helpful. Once we finally looked at the car, it had much more damage than the listing suggested. Every concern we pointed out was met with comments like, "Well, it's an older car," or, "Well, we cleaned it," instead of addressing the issues. Whenever we asked about the price, the only response was, "It's retail price." After having the VIN checked through someone in the car business, we found the vehicle was valued around $2,000 less than the asking price, making it feel significantly overpriced. Overall, I felt dismissed throughout the process. Buying a car is a big decision, and I expected better communication, honesty, and respect. read more

I bought a car from Kristy. I dealt with her and her son that also works for her, but not for Greenwood. I'm not really sure how that worked out. It was odd how close of their relationship they had considering she told me all about his drug problem and how she's so stressed about him. I thought she was being legit with me, we shared some pretty deep things we were going through. I found that that was not the case. I Got referred to this person, kristy l from my bankruptcy lawyer, he said that she was really good and would totally help me out considering my situation. The first car I got through financing with them was a Ford fusion. On day, two of the car, the motor literally blue I had to call her and have it taken back. I couldn't get let out of my loan. Even though the car literally the engine Died. Kristy said that she had a friend that would sell Greenwood their car because they needed to get caught up on some finances that it's a really good car and that Greenwood wouldn't buy it from her if it wasn't. So I was then given a Hyundai Santa Fe. I only had the car a couple months when the car started to consume its own oil. Long story short the car stopped working. I am stuck with a loan and now I'm being sued for $12,000. If you have a situation where you're already coming from a bankruptcy, I would stare very clear from this place and especially from the sales lady Kristy. When I was referred to this place, it was told to me that this dealership cared about its people and wanted to help people in situations like mine. I sent in a request from said website and was contacted promptly from Jacob. Due to Covid Greenwood is now appointment only to look at cars and take them for a spin. I text asking if I could just stop in and they gave me an option 2 hours later. That didn't work for me and they were accommodating to my schedule and had the vehicle cleaned and sanitized in 30min ready to be looked at. There is absolutely no pressure at this dealership. These guys are shady AF. Don't let them screw you over like I did. Bought a car and less than a week later had to drop 4k on a new transmission. They initially said they would fix it in house and help with parts and labor. That didn't happen. Transmission place they referred me to said there's no way they didn't know there was an issue and they more than likely put transmission additive in to temporarily fix it. Long enough for a test drive so they could sell it to the first person that came along. I should have used Craigslist so I would at least be expecting for the seller to try to pull one over on me. He assured me all of my issues with car I bought from him (that they promised was in perfect condition or would be before taking it home) would be gone if I visited the automotive repair shop that he recommended. However that did not happen, they took it in several times claiming "work was done" meanwhile anindependent mechanic said they hadn't touched anything they said they had after I purchased.... (Maybe some of its my fault for not consulting a private mechanic before purchase)Again I was gas lighted and lied to by staff and owner.... After the owner gave me his personal Assurance that my needs for the car I bought would be met. He sent me to the repair shop and left Me in their hands.... Winding up with thousands in repairs on a vehicle newly purchased from a dealer that they refused to compensate me for even though it was in the paperwork they signed. I found they are deceptive in their practices and sell cars picked up at auction that have been wrecked and slap a few cosmetic repairs on them and resell them for 3 and 4 times what they are worth! Go elsewhere you will get a shit car here. I have all the correspondence and receipts regarding this. Buyer BEWARE. My car is falling apart the grill and front headlight are falling off with no collision or trauma to the vehicle since owning it. I work in Parker and live in Parker. I drive less than 10 miles a day. Come to find out they omitted the fact that it was wrecked twice before I bought it!! This is a Land Rover, a luxury car. Very expensive to purchase and repair. Stay away from this shop. Purchased a 2016 Range Rover on Dec 12, 2019 for $50K and it needed a whole new transfer case 2 weeks later ($10K repair). No help from owner or salesman to resolve this issue. They said vehicle was just at Range Rover Denver for an entire vehicle inspection as warranty was ending. They told me to talk to Range Rover Denver to fix issue. Greenwood Automotive was no help in working with RR Denver to help me get the issue fixed. I'm not a mechanic but I would guess you would find a transfer case that needs repair when doing inspection. If they are going to treat customers that are purchasing $50K vehicles I could only imagine the quality of lesser vehicles they are purchasing at auction. BUYER BE WARE!!!! Do not buy a car from this dealership, if you can't find a car you like somewhere else make sure they let you take it to get checked out. I recently bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I showed up to look at it they told me they had spent tons of money on this car getting it ready & that it was perfect. When I test drove it I noticed that the heat did not come out on the driver side (something they should have noticed if they inspected the car). After the test drive I deiced to purchase the car & put in the agreement that they must fix the issue. I drove it home that night and the car over heated & I had to leave it at a gas station. It needed up needing an entire new radiator which they did replace (the only reason they have 1 star). I expressed to the dealership that I am about to drive across country and I want to make sure the car is ready to go & has no issues. They once again reassured me that it was in perfect condition. I picked the car up after the radiator was fixed & immediately the "check engine light" came on (it was on before too, but I figured it was because of the radiator). I took the car into a different shop and all the spark plugs needed to be replaced (minor routine maintenance). I ended up driving the car from Colorado to Michigan & the service 4WD light came on. I took it into a shop and they told me the transfer case shift motor was broken, but that I could drive it. I called Greenwood & told them & asked if they were willing to do anything since I bought it less then a month ago. They told me to see if I can drive it back to Colorado & they would take a look. I made it back & instead of them looking at the car they had me take it to Antero to be looked at....and this is where it gets fun! Antero looked at the performance of the entire car & found the following issues: - 4WD replace transfer case shift motor - low refrigerant in the AC system - leak coming from high side pressure hose on AC system - license plate lights out - Needs new battery - Anti-freeze system needs to be flushed as well as all other fluids - Power steering fluid smells burnt and needs to be flushed - Rear main seal has a bad leak or the oil pan gasket has a bad leak - In total it would cost over 6k to fix this all. Antero told me themselves that Greenwood would have noticed almost all of this if they had inspected the vehicle. I ended up calling Greenwood and speaking to the owner John who told me to share the reports with him. I did that & his only solution was to buy the car back for a much lower number then I paid (I paid $17,500) & then I could buy another care at the price he bought it for. I told him I didn't want to do that at this time & he said okay just let me know. A few weeks later I did end up contacting John letting him know I was interested in his offer. He told me he had zero room in almost every car I chose (which is a flat out lie as every car he has listed I doubt he is selling for what he bought it for). There was one car that he said he had "some room" & would let me know the following week. He never once got back with me about that car. Now I know when you buy a used car you take a risk, but I have bought many used cars before and never once did it have over 8k (total with the radiator) in damage when its drove off the lot. They flat out lied & disregarded safety of their client just so the could make a few dollars. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

Sure enough the Vehicle made multiple thumps and noises upon starting it and merely coasting down drive. The sales person insisted Toyota has these noises as a design feature. The sales person was already upset at that point because she already knew the vehicle was defective bought at auction and she would MAKE NO SALE. Then this person stood out in parking lot and berated and lectured us about how this Auction acquired vehicle with 10,000 miles on it should make noises like that. Wrong. I have spent a fair amount of time repairing vehicles including engine, trans, clutch replacements, suspension springs shocks brakes altenators ect ect. To have a child berate me in the parking lot that a nearly brand new Toyota pickup should make thumping noises when started and roll slowly down parking lot, is a failure. Be very careful buying auction vehicles. Many times dealers who buy these vehicles did not perform an inspection nor did they even drive it before purchase. I'll start by saying that this is no typical dealership. The employees here aren't sharks that will attack when you drive on the lot (like most dealerships). I'd say Greenwood has a casual and laid back atmosphere, which I personally like. My husband and I came to Greenwood Automotive to look at a Range Rover Evoque we had seen listed online. We came on a Saturday around noon, it wasn't busy & there was no wait time. We were greeted my James Spreng. He was polite and immediately let us go check the RR out and take it on a test drive. On our test drive we noticed a headlight was out and that the breaks may of needed replaced. So upon our return James let us knows his mechanic would take a look at everything & fix any issues as soon as possible. Once that was all settled James worked with my husband, I and a credit union and was able to get us a lower APR, which I didn't even think was possible. I'm still in shock of how low James was able to get it. I feel he gave me fair market value for my trade in (Ford F150 FX4). We are so happy with how everything worked out; great APR, great trade in amount, and a beautiful Range Rover. So once all the nitty gritty stuff was taken care of James gave us a printed document letting us know if we brought the RR back on Monday (since they are closed on Sunday) that he would get the light replaced & the brakes looked at. Soooo Monday rolls around, we dropped the RR back off at Greenwood, they let me use my F150 I had traded in as a loaner while they checked out the RR. A few hours later we got a call from James stating not only did they fix my headlight, they replaced my brake-pads & rotors PLUS they gave me an oil change. I can't even begin to write how pleased I am with the entire experience from beginning to end with Greenwood Automotive & James specifically. This is probably one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had & I'm on vehicle #8!!!! I'd highly suggest Greenwood to anyone wanting to buy a vehicle. Hello potential buyer, I typically don't do reviews but you should be weary of buying a car from these guys. As it stands in 2015 I purchased a 2006 Bmw m5 from these guys, my dream car! When I took it off the lot the car went into safe mode several times and I contacted the sales team and explained the issue. They told me the car was sensitive and that it could be poor gas. I accepted this answer and continued on happily with the car I have always wanted. Over the coming months the car kept going into safe mode so I took it to the Bmw dealership for an oil change and to diagnose this safe mode. I was unable to get the car to show the error code and they told me to take pictures of the dash if it happened again so they could see what was going on. The car resets every time it's turned off. Winter came around and I stored the car inside, at this point I had done maybe 2500 miles. The weather warmed up and I began driving it again, within 1000 miles a major breakdown occurred and it was diagnosed as an oil pump gone bad, the part alone cost $3300! This repair costs $7000!!! Of course I contacted the dealership and explained to them what went wrong and that I was sold a faulty car. The response I got was that it's not a problem they cared for and they ultimately hung up on me once I pointed out I was sold a lemon. After confirming the repair cost at a local shop I called and talked to John. I explained my story to him, again no accountability for what the product they sold to a community member and no doing the right thing for a customer. My story stops here as of 07/12/2016. I will fill everyone in once my car is fixed. My car is being worked on by an awesome mechanic shop I can't wait to review. These guys at Greenwood automotive sold me a lemon, they know it, I know it, and now you know it. All I can say is 3500 miles for the price of the car plus $7000 is not worth the headache because they have a nice looking inventory. they fully blame me for the crappy product they sold by telling me I should have done this and I should have done that when in reality the right thing to do after selling a car I mean lemon would be to step up and be accountable. These guys are not accountable for anything once you are locked in. My recommendation is to test drive the car you want and shop around for a dealership that stands by its product. This place is a total SCAM or their employees are truly incompetent! We were looking to buy a 2011 f350 (king ranch), and thankfully we took it to a local Ford dealership for a pre-inspection. Not only was it leaking oil, they had spray painted the oil pan to hide the leak! Another sketchy paint job that we noticed during our test drive was on the steering wheel. That is simply the beginning of the many problems with the truck. (The shocks we're fried, all the fluids needed to be changed, the exhaust pipe was cracked and burnt, and the list goes on). The truck was listed over $30,000 but worth less than $15,000 according to the Ford dealership. When we returned and explained this to the salesman, he acted as though he knew none of what we discovered. Which means, he is either a great actor or an idiot. Along with the awful truck they attempted to sell us, they tried to value our trade-in $2,000 below market. Avoid this place!! read more

I inquired about a truck I saw online. NADA and Kelly Blue Book both had the truck priced 30% - 15% less depending on condition. I would be driving a very long distance in order to pay cash and trailer the truck home for my daughters. So I asked about the price. The person responding to the texts simply stated "thats my best price". No offer of negotiations. No explanation of the high price. Worked with Steve S. to buy a 2004 F-150 FX4 they had listed. Price, features, and condition were all great. The experience was excellent and I would gladly come back! They let me hold onto the truck for a few hours for a test drive and independent pre-purchase inspection. Also, they took good care of me with regard to a pre-existing issue with one of the truck's rear power window regulators (hey, every used vehicle is unique!). In all, they were very easy to deal with. No pressure, no shenanigans, dealer handling/recon fee was built into the price. I learned one of the hidden reasons why one should deal with Keith Zaring. I had a flat tire and the Jetta had some kind of covering over the lug nuts so that I could not get to them (I thought they were locking nuts). Keith answered my call, addressed me by name, and then looked through VW "how to videos" to determine what I had and how to get to the lug nuts so that I could install the "toy tire" that came with the car. Please have any used car checked by a mechanic. Bought a Mercedes from Greenwood at 80K miles. Less than 30K more miles and I've had a blown turbo, failed suspension system and now a timing chain. So $10K in repairs. read more
