This place is delicious and adorable. We were visiting my sister-in-law, and we tried to go here with the family, but it was a two hour wait. I can totally see why. So we went on our way out of town. I love their little coffee mug bar full of a little eclectic collection. The biscuits were absolutely incredible. He got the biscuits and gravy and I got more of a homestyle platter. I had an amazing first experience here. Sadly, frustratingly, today, not so much. We ordered cheese grits, fries with gravy, and pickles. The pickles (maybe only 6 slices of them?) were way too sweet. Did I review DBC in the past? Not sure so here goes. This is a must stop for any tourist, most locals know and love this place. DBC locations are normally located in bars, so you get both in the same spot. Don't be dismayed by this, DBC can do just as good by itself, but this is a fun way for them to have more in one spot, works for me! When it comes to ordering, a lot of people make the big mistake of ordering complex sandwiches with eggs bacon sauces etc... DONT BE THAT PERSON. What you want to get here is simple, a bisket and gravy. That's it. This is the taste you will love and keep coming back for. Save the complex sandwiches for places that need to add all that to make it taste good. You may want to get an extra side of gravy, comes in both a sausage and a veggie version so it will please all. Wow I just love denver biscuit company. My work went here for a team outing and it did not disappoint. Our server was so wonderful and attentive. I asked for water with no ice and lemon and she did that for me. She got everyone's order out quickly and efficiently. The Lola spicy chicken is my absolutely favorite. My bf ordered the 3 run double & it didn't really stand out to him but the biscuit was the star along with the blueberry jam. You could easily share a biscuit because they are very large - we didn't know that so I got an extra. This was my first time trying DBC and its definitely an experience I would recommend (with just a few caveats). First off, this location seems a lot less crowded than others. It's far out in the suburbs and we came on a Thursday night when only 2 other tables were filled. But it seems really spacious and open so I think it's a great choice if you're looking to take a group (plus you can put your name on a list online which is always great for places like this!). We ordered some biscuit pot pie, a biscuit sandwich, a burger, pickles and the wings for our table and first off the price is very fair for the portions! We were a little worried that a biscuit alone was 5 bucks, but it's a monster biscuit and tastes great. All the meat and sauces are rich and flavorful. I loved my burger and the wings were perfect. The plates with biscuits look great in pictures but they're super messy and can be difficult to eat so make sure you're ready for that! My main issue was just a matter of personal taste - we ordered sides of pickles (made in house) and were disappointed that they were just 1. Pickle slices, and 2. Sweet pickles. If that's what you're into they're well made, but not worth it if you want a traditional pickle. There was also some sweetness on the fries and the burger (probably due to the pickles in the burger) which is just not my taste. I feel like the default for fries and pickles is savory, so it would have been great to have that on the menu in a quick description. Still had some great food, I'll just ask about flavors a bit more next time! read more

She gave great recommendations and made us all at the table feel good to be there. I ate my food so fast I didn't realize I was full until it was too late. What a meal! I got the Franklin biscuit sandwich and I would eat it again in a heartbeat. Everything was incredibly well seasoned and the textures were all exactly what I wanted. Soft fluffy biscuits, crunchy fried chicken and bacon, smooth and creamy gravy, yum. The decor reminded me of an upscale firehouse which is not at all a knock on the look. It suited the food very well. The music choices had my whole family singing or dancing along too which made the feel of the place very welcoming. Having tried & failed to eat at one of the downtown locations, I greatly appreciate the plentiful free parking & the hours shorter wait. Though even using their waitlist, I do ding them one star since we waited noticeably longer then the 15 mins promised so I think the wait times could be fine tuned. Our group tried various biscuit sandwiches while my husband branched out & got the french toast. My Dehlila was a large yummy mix of sweet & savory. I really like this place and I had read up on their1/2 pound burger. It had ranked really high on different blogs so I took my son and gave it a try. Unfortunately it seemed to be saturated with truffle oil which you can see in the photo and the waffle fries were covered in salt. I was a little surprised by that. My son also said that he thought there was a lot of garlic that he could taste and smell. I wish I could say my experience was better. To be upfront, I may have high expectations after hearing so much about DBC and how amazing it is. It was okay. I was not the biggest fan, is it better than other brunch places? Yeah, some. Service was good, the vibe was very laid back and I loved the unique decor they had. The food was good but not the best I have had. I was able to try The Franklin and their French Toast. The Franklin looked amazing! I thought the uniqueness of the sandwich was definitely the sale here. It had a delicious buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, cheese and was absolutely smothered in house made sausage gravy. On the other hand, I was super disappointed with the French Toast. The flavor of the french toast was just super plain, the fruit compote (you have a choice of strawberry or blueberry or both!) made it slightly better but I was really hoping for the french toast to be the star of the plate. Portions are massive, and I still do recommend checking DBC if you get a chance but maybe just trying their biscuit sandwiches first! I am so happy there's a location down south. Came here on a weekday morning with the family when the kids had a day off of school. Large party of 7 (don't forget to join the waitlist online) to avoid being put at the bottom of the list. We checked in, waited about 10 minutes for our table while we grabbed some coffee at the self serve coffee bar. It's always great seeing all the different cups get picked up by everyone. (Shopping girl for the big muscle guy. Or the dad with the high school musical mug.) They have a couple corn holes set up outside so it kept the kids occupied. It's set up in the waiting area seating so everyone waiting turned into a cheering section for all the kids playing. Once we were sat, our waiter Ryan came over right away with waters. Very friendly and informative about the menu. Our orders placed and our food was brought out quick. The tastes are exactly on point to the other locations. Our go to dishes are the Franklin, the triple, biscuits & gravy & the kids love the ham & cheddar sandwiches. Two mini biscuit sandwiches with a side of apple sauce. Make sure you get the honey butter & strawberry rhubarb jam. Sooo good. This will definitely be another go to breakfast for us, especially due to the location. read more

I appreciate that they have good vegetarian options and you can make nearly any of their dishes vegetarian friendly. I always get the Lola and my partner loves the grits. This morning, we were served an old, hard $10 cinnamon roll and a $15 Dahlia with a hockey puck sausage patty and overdone egg. The Dahlia biscuit was fluffy and delicious! Wish I had just ordered a biscuit with butter and jelly! We are a fan of your breakfasts, but please start serving freshly cooked food again. As usual, we ordered too much food and have tons of leftovers! We've frequented this location several times since it's opening- 3X we have eaten there, 3X pickup. We have tried the Scully fries twice (amazing) cinnamon roll (1 with bacon and once without only because our waitress didn't hear me), the Franklin is definitely my favorite but today we ordered the Schooner for the first time and it was DELICIOUS! I will order an extra side of the tarter sauce and I think it needs more coleslaw but the fish was so good, perfectly breaded and seasoned. Today we tried the homemade sweet tea and I was a little leery because I was afraid it was going to be too sweet but it wasn't. I didn't take a pic of the cinnamon roll but it's HUGE and delicious, if you like a crispy outer part you'll love it! The service has always been great, today Jewels was our server and she was awesome, even offered to bring us to-go cups for our iced tea and coffees. I'd recommend getting on the waitlist and waiting until near your window to go, although you can play for hole while you wait. We did get there around 9AM on a Sunday and there were lots of people showing up while we were eating.
