I received a flyer in the mail from Denver Ducts & Carpets. Since it had been a number of years since we last had our ductwork cleaned I decided to give them a call and could not be happier that I did. I called and was given an appointment for the following day. The tech showed up exactly on time and was followed about 15 minutes later by a second tech to help him out. They were here for close to 3 hours and did a terrific job. The equipment they used must have been pretty powerful 'cause I could hear all the junk rattling through the hose as they performed the cleaning. As the homeowner I did have some preparations to make prior to their arrival. Nothing to severe, just removing the wall mounted vents for them and replacing them after they left. The flyer was for a "Whole House Air Duct Cleaning" for $249.00 and included a free dryer vent cleaning as well. I added on a sanitation service and a furnace cleaning for a total out the door cost of $419.00 - my choice, no pressure from them, I requested the add ons. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

It's been 51 days since Denver Ducts came to my home. After the finished their job. I went to put back my dryer to find the top with dents all over it. Their tech decided to sit on it to put the vent cord back and did not tell me that he damaged my dryer just left my home without a word. No apology nothing. I reached out to the company multiple times and yet they have done nothing to fix or replace my badly damaged dryer. They complained to me that I needed to stop calling and asking them to make it right as they said they would do. Over 2 months and still zero resolve and I am still left with personal property that they damaged and apparently have no intention of repairing/replacing. Do not hire this company as they do not follow through and do not care about their clients or the damage they caused. I have been patient waiting this long for any communication. I have only spoken to the manager twice to whom told me to stop calling them and I should be patient. What a joke! Bad customer service, lack of communication and again zero follow through. Our AC was only working intermittently. I had two HVAC companies out to look at it for a total of 8 service calls. Finally one of them suggested cutting the A-frame coils out of the system, cleaning them and soldering them back. I then called Denver Ducts. They told me in advance exactly what the cost would be and what to expect. When he arrived, their technician, Logan, said the coils should not be removed. Instead, he cleaned the ducts, the coils and the blower motor without cutting into the system. All of the components now sparkle and the unit is running perfectly. I will use this company again and recommend them without reservation. read more

I initially had this company come out to clean out 5 air ducts and 4 returns. The first time they came out they were in my house no more than 25 mins. After they left, something just did not seem right. So I pulled out the vacuum to test the theory. Sure enough they did a terrible job, the pictures I provided were unbelievable. After an email and complaint they apologized and sent a guy out right away. Again, terrible job. The amount is dust that is still in my home is unbelievable. It's been about 2-3 months and where some of my ducts are they are covered by furniture not allowing me to actually seek them....they are great at putting back your belongings. So today I'm doing a bit of cleaning, moving furniture around and sure enough almost every vent has NOT been fastened. Some of the vents are even bent. I know it's been a few months but this is unacceptable. From the first time they came and now to see all of these vents that are not even screwed in and bent. What terrible service. I'm giving 2 stars because they attempted to fix their first mistake but now, I'm floored by what I'm seeing. I definitely do not recommend. The first technician had a month experience. The main line and return line were not cleaned. I requested to speak with someone from the office. I spoke with the office manager and told him that the main and return line had not been cleaned. Office manager demanded payment and threaten to file a lien, stated I would pay when I was satisfied with cleaning. Emailed pictured of a large pile of debris in the return duct and another technician was scheduled. Second tech had a few months experience and attempted to clean the main and the return. If your do not have open access to the main and return, the technicians cannot clean them. Also let me define clean-blowing your ducts with air and vacuuming with a shop vac or small truck mounted vacuum[larger shop vac]. I babysit the 2 technician for 7 hours, not satisfied but not dealing with this anymore and paid the $249. If you are having your ducts cleaned, verify what can be done before they start. Excuses, excuses, excuses!!!!!!!!!!!! Technicians are untrained and office[especially the office manager] has zero customer service skills!!!! read more

Very professional, showed up on time and completed work within the estimated time they quoted. Price was what they quoted. Only comment would be that they should vacuum up their work area around each vent as there was a small amount of dust and debris left behind that I had to vacuum up. All in all, very satisfied and would use them again. read more

My first experience with a tech from Denver Ducts to say was less than pleasant would be being very kind.. nightmare is closer. However, I received a call from the owner after posting my 1 star review ( the next morning in fact) asking me to let them send a different tech out, to re-do my job- make it right.. and fix everything the first tech should have done. I was hesitant, but very appreciative of him reaching out so I agreed. Today, the tech showed up, explained everything to me (which wasn't done by the first tech) and cleaned everything using all of the methods that they talk about in great detail on their website. I am completely impressed by the way they went above an beyond to correct an employee mistake. I'm sorry someone had to lose their job because of it, but he wasn't doing Denver Ducts any favors with his behavior. I will definitely refer them to family and friends in the future. My Ventilation system is clean, and happy.. and I can't wait to see if this improves allergy season for my family! Thank you Denver Ducts. I'm a fan. read more

My experience with this company was terrible. I could never suggest this business to anyone in good conscience. They do not communicate Well in any department and they do not value customer service or any type of courteousness. After putting in a new air filter, I had a literal pile of dust and debris in it 5 days later which i think should have been removed in the cleaning. read more

I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency. He did all the ducts and the drier vent in about an hour and a half. I researched between the 3 companies Home Advisor recommended and decided to go with Denver Ducts based on the reviews and their quick response to reach out to me. Tinisha reached out to me and answered all my questions and offered me three job times . I chose the one that would work best for me. I was very pleased ! However, once the day of the job cave, no one showed up! We waited 20 minutes after our appointment time to call and the woman who answered the phone said we were not on the schedule for an appointment. When asked her name she said Tinisha. So we scheduled with her and she said we didn't despite the email confirmation. I am very frustrated with my time being wasted. I will be looking for another contractor. read more

I was extremely disappointed with this duct cleaning service. I had them come in to clean my evaporative cooler ducts that run through my attic to each room. I expressed my concern with the technician's capability nearly right away. He came in the door with a consumer grade shop vac then started taking off all ten of my register covers at the same time. When I told him of my concern about not sealing off the vents when he started blowing high pressure air into the ducts with no way to capture the dirt coming out the rest of the ducts , he told me that I was overreacting and that he does this for a living. Our whole house had a fog of dust flying around inside it. I told my wife to get out of the house , she should not be breathing all that dirt. I immediately called the office for the second time to let them know what was happening. They assured me that thee tech knew the was doing and would make it right. That was a joke! He left after blowing filth all over our house and left dirt on the furniture and floors under every vent. It took my wife and I ten hours to clean our house. After that episode I had Stanley Steemer do a video of the inside of our ducts, they were appalled as were we with the amount of dirt in the ducts. Stanley Steamer spent 8 hours with two techs to clean our " already cleaned ducts". They did a great job and went to great lengths to make sure we were happy with their work. I tried to get Denver Ducts to compensate us for all the trouble of having to clean our entire house and the extra expense of bringing in another company, but all they would do is refund our original payment to them. Not super impressed with this company. Hardly any communication btwn the technician and us (although he was very nice but there was a definite language barrier). We had to clean up the items that the tech left the outside area of the vents a mess and we had to scramble to clean up to ensure dogs did not get a hold of, then paid extra to have our dryer vent cleaned out and the tech left a huge mess in our back yard rocks, that took quite a bit of work to clean up. Emailed the company to advise of our dis-satisfaction of this and got crickets. Reading reviews here I see that cleaning up is not this company's strength. read more

I originally used them for duct cleaning based on a flyer we received. Since my furnace was making some unusual noice I elected to have them check it out. They provided estimates to either repair or replace the furnace. The repair price was reasonable, but since the unit was 21 years old we decided to replace it. Since COVID has slowed everything down it would take a few days to get the new unit in. 3 days later during the October cold snap our furnace died. Since we couldn't get the new one for a couple more days the tech, at no charge to us brought us space heaters! What a life saver! Our new furnace was installed on the the date promised, great job by the techs and it has been working wonderfully and much more quietly! read more

I should have known something wasn't right when the phone numbers came up as SCAM ALERT! To make a long story short THEY LEFT JUMPER CABLES ON MY FURNACE which caused the furnace to continually run !!! I had to eventually call a furnace company which charged me 100 dollars to tell me this information. Mr general mngr. was suppose to make me whole by sending 100 dollar check but 1 month later he has not. Good thing I have pictures and their jumper cables to give to my lawyer. I'm very happy with this company! The guys were ontime and very polite and respectful. Right away they wore shoe covers without me even needing to ask as I keep my house very clean. They worked quickly and efficiently, showed me all before and after images. They were highly respectful towards my property and furniture and put everything back together. Complete joke of a company. Had them come out to clean a dryer vent. Tech didn't understand enough English to comprehend "the dryer vent is under the solar panels so you must clean from the inside." Guy went up on my roof and tore off the bathroom vent instead. He eventually used google translate on his phone to tell me he couldn't do the job and drove off without even reinstalling the bathroom vent. I called and asked to speak with the owner. I explained my displeasure to someone, possibly a manager and was assured the owner would call. I never heard back. I ended up having to fix the roof myself and hire a different company to do the work. read more

The technician was professional and explained what he was doing. No problem there. He even showed me where the one duct did not fully match the opening. And as he cleaned the ducts, I could often hear pieces of debris running through the vacuum tube. When I looked afterwards, I could tell that the ducts, including the dryer duct, were definitely cleaner. There are two reasons, however, I cannot give the highest rating. First, and most significantly, the sanitizing chemical used in my HVAC system was not properly labeled. After the chemical had been applied, I notice the container was simply an old milk jug labeled via magic marker with a different chemical than I was told would be used. The technician explained that despite the mislabeled jug, he had used the correct chemical. However, this did not relieve my concern of what was now in my HVAC system. Second, on a more minor point, I did not receive the before-and-after photos timely, and had to request these. What I received days later, was clearly not of my house. I could tell from the photos showing the outside view of in-take vents--including wall color, carpet/flooring, and baseboard moulding. This was a disappointment, especially because to get these photos I had to allow the technician to cut and then patch a rather large hole in the duct near the furnace, despite the fact that the duct has inspection ports which will accommodate an inspection camera. Denver Ducts does have quick and responsive customer service, which tried to work through the photo issue. I would be willing to use this company again, but I would skip the chemical application and take my own photos with an inexpensive inspection camera. read more

This company is garbage. Do not use them. I called to make an emergency appointment for a serious issue in our home and they came through with the most despicable customer service I've ever dealt with, from their phone reps to their jackass "supervisors" to their technicians. I made an appointment and the rep told me they would be at our home between 3 & 4, no sign of them. I called them again, another rep said oh it's actually a 2 hour window and they'll be there by 5. No sign of them. Called at 5 and they said they'd be there at 6. Still no sign of them. Called at 6pm and they said the technician would be there in 5 minutes. Still no sign of them. While I was on the phone, I asked for a manager and they said there was no one in the office at the time. The guy had no customer service skills whatsoever to make the situation better. I was the one who had to bring up that I wasn't paying for a service that's now costed me time and money, and out of the wood works he said oh I can offer you 10% off per my supervisor. Woo hoo a whopping 10% off. That's crap. I shouldn't have even made an appointment with the only company who said our service (whole house air duct cleaning plus sanitization) would take 1-2 hours when everyone else quoted 6-8. And after being three and a half hours late, I damn sure don't trust you to touch my house. Thanks for leaving my family and I hanging and screwing us over. Really looking forward to having to wait until Monday to get ahold of one of the companies I turned down for this crap. read more

I would be very careful if considering this company for duct cleaning. It was NOT a pleasant experience for us. The issues started when we were told the service would take about 4 hours, but the technician was in our home for well over 7 hours! He performed some kind of cleaning of our furnace and apparently could not properly close one of the panels on the furnace, so decided to use duct tape (see pic). About 3-4 weeks after the service, out furnace stopped working and I called an HVAC company to take a look at it. They determined that the wiring to the blower had not been reconnected properly and one of the wires was left unattached to anything, burnt through the insulation of another wire, and shorted out the blower (pic). It cost $1500 to replace the blower. Obviously the last one in there was the Ductworks tech. The management at Ductworks took almost a month to respond to my complaint and after another month decided that because they were not called to assess the situation, they are not liable. I don't know who would call a duct cleaning company when they have an issue with a furnace! Not to mention, we would not have gone without heat in our home during winter just so they could get a look at it. The fact that they didn't even offer to refund any of the cost of the duct cleaning gives you a good idea of their focus on customer service. read more

This company was supposed to come a month ago within a two-hour time slot. I rescheduled my meetings and made sure to be home. No one showed up. After calling the company (being put on hold and all that) I was supposed to be called back about why they didn't come. No call-back received. A week later, I scheduled another time slot in which they would come and I made sure that I was at home and that I wasn't doing any calls. Two minutes after the time slot was over, the technician showed up. When I confronted the technician with this, he became very timid. All I can say after this experience is that this company is very unprofessional from a client perspective and I am hoping that the duct is clean. read more

Horrible service and not worth any money. They came to do the whole house ducts for $200. The person was 3 hours late. First the person who came doesn't speak English minus few words. He blew all the nasty stuff from the ducts into my house. He then blew it into my furnace and then said he would give me a discount to clean it. The problem is I know it wasn't dirty before he came because I had it inspected. Now it is filthy. My husband and I talked to the owner who said he would send someone else to fix it. The person was 3 hours late and made it worse again. Now I'm out $200 and have to hire someone else to do it the right way. Do not use this company. They are scam artists just taking your money and making your house filthy. I give them a 0. First when I scheduled them, I was told the dryer vent would be free. When they sent me the paperwork, there was a $50 charge for the dryer. When I called them out, they said, "never mind" and apologized. I rearranged my work schedule to get home by the 4-6 pm timeslot they scheduled. Late not the best job cleaning. Didn't even do the returns. Would not use again or recommend.

They advertise as a Monster Vacuum system, but they have a small truck vacuum system with no brushes and no sanitizing foam. They mainly clean the surface of the ducts down to 3-5 feet max and use a compressor to kick off the dirt with a flapper that flaps around to kick some dirt, but not like brush cleaning. They had very little experience in cleaning the furnace and I stopped them from finishing the furnace cleaning to avoid a disaster. I paid $200 for the ducts vent cleaning and I could have done that with a home vacuum. read more

I have been looking for a reliable duct cleaning company for over a year now. These guys were awesome. They kept their original date and were right on time. They walked my whole house with me pointing out all the areas of importance before giving me a final quote. During the cleaning they were diligent and considerate, I can't say enough about this company. They took before and after pics for me, it was amazing what they pulled out of my ducts. They came out to my home even though I had a coupon they tried to add all these extra charges on to the bill. I negotiated a little bit with them and got a reduced which was fine. However during their cleaning they never closed any of the vents until they were almost done and I have dust throughout my entire home. Talk about a pain in the butt. Now I have to get my entire house cleaned and all the stuff that was in my vents is now around my entire house. What good is a duct cleaning if it all goes through out the house. I would be very careful about using these guys again. They are in a very big hurry. For a 3000 square foot house in an hour and a half. They were rushing and left dust and dirt and other stuff around the house as well. read more
