I directed my daughter and her husband here for the purchase of a new mattress. I've made several purchases here myself in the past and learned a few dos and don'ts about this place. First off, they are trained in knowing which mattress is best for you. So utilize their knowledge. Do's- Do ask for free delivery and haul away. Do ask for a few free pillows. You will pay if you do not ask. Do NOT- Purchase their house brand mattress as they are substandard and not good. Bottom line is if you get the mattress home and you aren't happy with your purchase, take full advantage of the free exchange service. I have on more than one occasion. I returned their brand and re purchased a Sealy. Stick with the name brands at this location. Overall, they are on commission, so service is good. All associates are dressed professionally. You feel like this is upscale buying in an upscale place. read more

This thing has now completely failed in that my back hurts so much that I can no longer use the thing. I am absolutely disgusted that this $1600 mattress lasted less than 3 years. I bought a pillow and a mattress here on a Saturday. I was told the mattress would be delivered Thursday, then Friday, then Saturday, then when Sunday came, I called and said if it wasn't delivered that day I just wanted a refund. They finally delivered it Sunday, but forgot the pillow. They said the pillow was shipped and I would receive it the next day. Two days went by and I asked for a tracking number, but never got one. Fast forward to a full 10 days later, I called and discovered the pillow was never shipped at all. My wife and I went in looking for a new mattress for the guest room in our house and me Blanca (Manager). After explaining our needs Blanca show us a couple of new mattresses she gave us some alone time. When she returned she let us know she had a couple of Close out items that would meet our needs and they were 1/2 price. We chose to go with the close out mattresses we were able to get an adjustable frame and still stay in our budget. Our salesperson, Steven Todd, showed EXCELLENT customer service. This was the first store that we walked into and we knew that we were going to purchase a mattress from this store. Not just because we loved the mattress, but we felt that we were getting the best service and our salesperson made us feel quite comfortable. I generally view mattress shopping on par with getting a colonoscopy or binge-watching infomercials. None of them are usually pleasant and I have a tendency to feel a bit exploited afterwards. But I have now purchases two mattresses from Denver Mattress and I must say, both experiences have been great. In fact, my first experience with D/M was so good (and my usual experiences mattress shopping so bad) that D/M was literally the ONLY place I was going to shop when the missus said she wanted a new mattress. Our salesperson was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and not pushy in the least. In fact, he steered us away from their higher-priced items because he believed we would be happier with something else. I enthusiastically recommend D/M to anyone in the market for something new to sleep, read, or make babies on. Awesome customer service from Rebbie. She was very knowledgeable and took time to test and go over the best options for my needs. I think I was there for maybe a hour and a half. The team moved mattresses around so I could test the mattress I wanted on a different base. Also spent a detailed about of time going over warranty information and delivery. We first went on a Sunday, and just forget about it. If you want to have a square inch to put your butt on a mattress to test it, you will have to first get the kids jumping up and down on it out of there. We went back last night and finally bought a mattress / foundation. The sales people have basic knowledge, that is very basic. Get your info somewhere first before. There is a delivery fee, but there is also a 30 days test period. No restocking fee if you don't liek the mattress, so that pricing differ from other store. Just pick what works for you read more

Deb and Ray from Denver Mattress management followed up on our complaint, requesting another chance to make good and we couldn't be more pleased with the result! All we'd asked is for the replacement of our mattress under warranty, which we'd previously been denied. I don't want to give specifics, because the resolution of issues has to be different in each case, but they met our request and more. He went on and on about how much better they were than the rest, giving me stats I didn't ask for and didn't need. As mentioned by another reviewer, Al is da man! Not pushy. Very knowledgeable. Had a couple issues with our frame upon delivery. Not his fault, mis labeled stuff in the factory, but Al made it right each time. Even went as far as coming out to our place himself to try and fix the issues. In the end, all is good and so is Al. Love our mattress and the customer service we received when things didn't go as originally planned. Just one of those things that happens. My wife and I had an incredible experience at Denver Mattress. We bought a mattress almost a year ago, but had some significant back issues. We remembered that the store had promised us a one year great sleep guarantee, so we decided to see if trying out a different mattress might help my back a little more until my surgery. We explained the situation although we were expecting that he would probably be frustrated with customers returning a mattress; instead, he promised that we would find a mattress that would be better for us without any problem. Finally, at Denver Mattress (where we have purchased four other mattresses sets, FYI) in Lakewood, Alvarez Simmons found the perfect bed for us. It is so comfortable I don't want to sleep in it! I went to buy a bed on Saturday and it was probably the easiest thing I've done in a long time. Certainly far easier than I thought it would be to buy a bed. They had a great soft approach, left it up to me, so when I inquired about options the gentleman Al, presented me with them and made the whole experience real simple. I had it delivered and not only were they prompt about delivery but they were even running early and they called to ask if that was okay and of course that was okay. Fantastic experience here! Alvarez (Al) was so helpful in helping my husband and I select a new mattress. He asked us insightful questions to gain a better understanding of what we were looking for, and based on our answers had us try as few mattresses as possible so we didn't get tactile burnout to the point where it was hard to tell what made us comfortable anymore.
