DO NOT GO HERE I was recently in an accident and decided that I would have my vehicle taken here for the repairs. For safety reasons, I have a dash-cam that records both outside, and inside of the car. After I received my car back I decided to review my dash-cam footage. I came to find out, that the very first person to enter my car, stole money from my center console. But that was the least of my concerns. When looking at the footage, one of the persons who interacted with my car, decided it would be okay to touch and pleasure himself right on camera as they were doing the work. The front bumper on my 2009 Tucson was loose so we took it to Denville Bear auto repair shop. $1500(+) and 7 days later, we had a new front bumper...however, once we started driving around, there was a noticeable loud squeak whenever we turned a corner. Turns out, the front tires we're scraping against the new front bumper! I mean...really? Who doesn't check for clearance when installing body parts? Very unprofessional! On top of that, they had the audacity to charge another $42 before he would release the car! What pikers!!! Second time I have used the services of Denville Bear. This time for a rear passenger window that was smashed in and a dent in the hood. Just love that they take the time to look at all options to keep the cost down (was coming out of my pocket), walked me through options and timing and then delivered on time and under quote. Work was impeccable. Amazingly., Cost was over $1,000 less than other quote we received. Such a pleasure dealing with nice, honest people. read more

I brought my Nissan Versa in to have the bumper fixed and they did an exceptional, professional job fixing it. They were courteous, fixed it in a very timely manner, and went above and beyond. It looks incredible. I checked out other body shops and have even gone to other body shops in this area, but no one came close to the quality of work of Denville Bear & Body. They also cleaned my car inside and out. It hasn't been this clean since it was brand new. They definitely will have my business from here on out. read more

Stay away from this shop! They will promise you anything to win your business but then repaint half your car Maaco style because they can't color match and have to "blend" everything in. I needed a simple fender replaced and they end up painting half my door and the quality looked awful. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. read more

These people are terrific! We have done business with them for several years now and we could not be happier. Frank Sanchez, the manager, is so professional and helpful. When he says the car will be ready at a certain time, it always is. He has been very helpful in all phases of our repair challenges. As he told my wife recently, "you will not be able to tell that the car is not brand new when we are finished"! And Frank was right! Her SUV looks brand new! And they were very fair with pricing and dealing with our insurance carrier as well. Obviously, we are very happy with this service! read more

I brought my car to Denville Bear on 1/31/19. Frank Sanchez was the person I spoke to. He was helpful professional and informative. He submitted the claim to NJM that day. I drop the car off on 2/3/19 and he said it would be three days. I the car was done in two. This was my forst time in 20 years to have to do this. I could not pick the car up during there normal business hours so Frank had them drop the car in my driveway. I could not believe that this type of service still happened in 2019. I had the following job done there: replacing passenger side read door, repainting passenger side front door and quarter panel. The did a godd job within timeline they promised. I did find some issue after that, like rattling sound and new door's window not reset correctly. They were happy to get them fixed again. The owner gave me ride to and from my work. Agree with the reviewer's comments above. They will tell you one thing and then not finish the job. While I found the overall quality of the work that was completed to be good, the customer service from the manager at the Dover location is terrible. After raising concern's about lack of craftsmanship completing the job as promised I was told to get it done elsewhere. read more

I couldn't agree more with the other comments. I am so upset that BMW sent my car there, I feel like they have a deal together. The manager was rude and they don't even pick up the phone. My car has been there for almost a month for just basic work. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone read more

I had a good experience with this body shop. my car was brought in for repair of my door of my mini copper. I dropped my car off at the mini dealership and one of the guys from denville bear picked it up. the next day they called me with an estimate and went over exactly what work would be done and emailed me a detailed explanation. because of a snowy winter my car was there for 2 weeks because the part took a few extra days to deliver but Andrew kept in touch with me and let me know how the progress was going. the bill was exactly what the estimate stated. when I picked up my car it looked brand new. overall I had a good experience read more
