I am usually very skeptical about auto body shops so i was really pleasantly surprised with the exceptional work done by Tom and Chelsea on my Honda CRV. My car's right side had a number of scratches and dents from an unfortunate ding with a garage door. I brought it in yesterday for an estimate and found Chelsea to be super professional and reasonable in the estimate. She was able to get my car in the next morning in time for a trip I was taking. Tom was a wizard who made my car look like news. He took the time to explain what he was going to do before he started which gave me confidence of quality workmanship. The work exceeded expectations and really changed my POV about body shops. This one is owned by Joyce Honda which also gave me confidence that we would be fine. Margarita at the front desk is an angel sent from above. After a scary hit and run with my toddler in the car, I was bringing my car into them to fix it. My car overheated and i was still 5 minutes away. I figured I was stuck since it was after 6, but she personally drove over and got me and my toddler and had my car towed to the shop. She helped me through the whole process and was so amazing. Dennis was so helpful in letting me know what was going on through the repair process. John was also so helpful and anytime I needed to come grab something out of my car he was always there to help. Everyone goes above and beyond here. I Can't recommend this place enough. read more

I bought my car to Grecco after getting my new 2017 Accord T-boned on the driver side. The car was a week old, I had just moved, and the back door would not open. The driver side was also ajar, but closed, but when it rained..well...it got wet. Grecco worked with my insurance company, and provided me with timely updates. I appreciated the fact they kept in touch via email, which at the time was the best way for me. It took a while to get things patched - and I understood with the combination of dealing with the insurance company and the damages to the car. Eventually I got my car back, and it looked and worked fine. Under their warranty, I did take the car back for some adjustments (i.e. I thought the door handle was too tight and the defroster wasnt working ) and they had kindly provided a lender car while they worked on it. For the most part - I think you go to Grecco if you need a shop to not only bring your car back to life BUT ALSO to deal with the insurance company. I believe they have done a fine job, they communicated with me rather well (they only called when if I needed to intervene with the insurance or make a decision on something), and really liked their customer service. I like having my car back, and with the exception of the tightness on the door -- which is very subtle but noticeable to me (and i hope it doesn't cause any issues during the winter) -- appreciate the work Grecco autobody put in for me. And the lifetime warranty around the work they did -- well, that's nice to have and a sign they believe in the work do. read more

Not happy at all with the work done on my Jeep Patriot. A Tree trunk fell on my car while I was driving and caused extensive damage to the front of my car. Just picked it up after 11 days not only did I end up paying a total of $1625.43 but the front grill on my vehicle was never put in that you can see my radiator. Called them up when my daughter noticed it wasn't there was told to call Chris on Monday that there was nothing they could do. Glad I took picture of the missing grill on my vehicle. Oh yes not to mention my car was never cleaned inside from the shattered windshield glass that I ended up cleaning the best I could with a dust pan and broom. read more

I recently took my car to Grecco Auto body, on the recommendation of Joyce Honda Service Dept. who I have dealt with for years. I am an older, single woman, I might add. I came there alone and dealt with only Dan and told him I wanted to pay out of pocket, as it wasn't to be an insurance clam. I had been in a minor, accident, which caused some cosmetic damage, and the hood latch wasn't closing properly. Other than that the car was fine.There was no damage to the other car in this accident, and the other driver made no claim. Grecco Autobody took 4 days, while I rented a car from them, to come up with an " estimate" for me of over $4,480.00, and when I questioned it, tried to tell me that maybe I'd be better off just selling it ( to him?) for $1,000.00. We paid $9,000.00 for the car, four years ago,used. It's a 2007. Dan explained his estimate by saying that he not only had to estimate the cost of replacing the entire front end, including 20 hours of body work, but had to build in an estimate of damage he "might" find if he takes the car apart. He said that is how they handle insurance claims, and he doesn't know how to go about fixing it "properly" any other way, although maybe someone could. I then took the car to a friend of mine, who is good with cars and he fixed the hood latch ( the only functional probem, with some WD40 and a couple whacks of a hammer. It took about a half an hour for him to find the right tools and figure out the problem and about 10 minutes to fix it. He said the minor damage to the plastic bumper, and plastic grill, is barely noticable, a small tear and a crack, and isn't worth fixing, and now the hood latch is fine and there is nothing wrong with the car. My friend thinks the hood latch needed cleaning and was probably sticking before the accident. The biggest cost to me was the $120.00 I paid to Grecco for a loaner car, but my car is fine now. Dan seems like a nice person who was probably just doing his job, but I wonder how often they do this when the Insurance companies pay for it and no one asks any questions. Several of my friends told me I should write a review, so I am sharing my story. read more

I would have given them a higher rating if they hadn't done such a poor job the second time around with my car. They are very cheap and will bs you of their mistakes. Brought my car in to have a small rust spot fixed. Amateurish work. Could have done a better job myself. Rust returned two months later.

I'm still finding new issues with their repairs to my car long after hitting a deer with it and having them fix it. I brought the car back multiple times, first to install a completely missing bumper support, again because the fender, wheel well, and cowl trim panels were all loose and rattling. I had to take the fan out of the HVAC system to clean out leaves that got into the vents from it being parked outside while disassembled. Now today I discover the rocker panel is missing about 3/4 of its screws causing it to be flimsy in spots. Shoddy work. Progressive shouldn't recommend them. read more

I was involved i an accident (not my fault) in August, waiting 5 months now to get rest of my rental car reimbursement because paperwork is not being done properly between Grecco auto body and the insurance companies involved. Rediculous how many times I had to call during the repair to check on progress because no one called me. The repair was beautiful but took 34 days to complete because more damage was found after the initial repair. Now the insurance companies do not understand why such a small repair would take so long because they have yet to receive a supplemental repair estimate to validate the extra time to repair. Today my insurance co says they are having trouble getting hold of the the Grecco manager...really?? None of this is my fault, yet I'm the one waiting to be paid back. I am not impressed with the customer service. read more

The last reviewer gives false information and said that Grecco Autobody was given an "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau, and even provides a link to the BBB. I followed the link and it's simply not true. There are no complaints at all on the BBB site for this company. In fact, there is no rating at all, since no one rated it. However, I have known this Autobody shop for many years and they are reliable and honest. I have had to use them a few times over the years and they always do an excellent job, with no problems later. read more

It's been a few years since I had my car repaired here after a pretty big crash. The original repair took many months (far longer than promised) and I was not treated with much respect as a customer at that time. When the car was finally ready there were several problems that should have been obvious and I had to leave the car for another week. Stuff that should never have been let out the door. Since that time I did have a few issues that they took care of under their warranty, which was why I brought it there in the first place. My family has long been a Grecco customer since the days of their Lincoln dealership. I was ready to walk after this experience but did not and they seem to be getting better. read more

If I can give this shop a negative 5 I would. The shop is beyond unprofessional not qualified to do the repairs that they advertised. I took my BMW on 7/21 for something minor that was supposed to only take 1 week and ended up being at the shop for 36 days. While my vehicle was being repaired someone from the shop hit my back bumper which no one called to inform me nor did they inform me of any updates to the repairs. I showed up to the shop and the front bumper was hanging off like a bunch of amateurs was repairing my vehicle. I then noticed someone hit the back of my car and John G told me not to worry to bring my car back before I turned in my lease. If i brought my car that was damage to be repaired why would I want to drive a car that they damaged. The manager Chris found out what happened and how upset I was he said don't worry we will take care of it. On Tuesday 8/21 the repairs to my vehicle was completed and was also the last day of my rental. When i called i found out that no one fixed my back bumper. The manager chris stated not to worry he would cover the extra days of rental. Everyday I called because again no one ever called for updates and found out that the back bumper still was not repaired. I found out that the General Manager Larry refused to fix my bumper because he fired a friend of mine . What does that have to do with me? I am a customer of Grecco and also a customer of Plymouth Rock which i chose this shop because it was a Direct Repair Shop. I am not an employee of Grecco and wish they would stop treating me as If I was an employee. I never imagined I was going to have these issues with this shop. I also didn't think it was going to take 30 days to repair a 1 week repair and took 6 to repair a back bumper which now the manager Chris informed me that the general manager Larry refuses to pay for the extra days of rental when his shop damaged my vehicle and didn't want to approve to fix the repairs which kept the vehicle longer at the shop giving a total of 38 days on Monday. Also had the nerve to say I owe 5 dollars for gas because they used the gas in my moving it back and fourth the 36 days it was there. This shop has unqualified techs they don't speak English and can't read an estimate so how can they fix anyones vehicle properly. I don't recommend this shop to anyone. If I had to recommend a shop in the area I would say go to Robbies down the street on route 46 they have more qualified techs that are actually certified, unlike Grecco. They also made sure to not set me up with updates via there system because once your vehicle complete it will send you survey so u can rate them on carwise. This is the worst experience I ever had and will report them to Plymouth Rock and BBB and any write a review at another other websites to get the word out. read more
