DePalma Dental personnel don't keep you waiting. You are usually in the chair within a few minutes of your appointment time. Although I have been a client for about 18 years, I am amazed how they stay on top of the most recent dental technology and introduce it into their practice. I had a tooth removed and needed an implant but due to bone loss, my jaw bone was too weak to support it. I was amazed that they could generate new bone and structural integity in the intended area of the implant with a scaffold and matrix application into where my tooth was removed. Now we wait 3 or 4 months for my jaw to regenerate the new bone. read more

I have never had such a wonderful experience at a business before!! I initially contacted DePalma to get a second opinion on a proposed treatment plan from Aspen Dental. Not only was the receptionist warm and friendly upon check in... she even assured me she could call Aspen to grab my chart and rads. Dr. Errin DePalma completely made me feel comfortable and was not judgmental at all! She was thorough and very honest with her assessment. The tech/hygienist was wonderful too!! Who reviews dentists? Me-- because my experience at this place was so great. First, you actually sit down in an office when you first visit them with the dentist so you actually sit down face to face and speak with them before they go digging around in your mouth. I was impressed by this. This place is owned by a husband and wife-- I was scheduled with the husband, Dr. Michael DePalma. He was super friendly, funny, thorough and as a great bonus, DePalma uses the most recent technologies to spot difficult to see issues including what appears to be infrared cavity detection. It helps you see little tiny divots which are hard to spot with the naked eye and helps you stay on top of them. Heidi, who took the xrays was friendly and did an excellent job-- Caylee (sp?) was an excellent hygienist-- friendly and chatty (in a good way!) so i felt at ease the whole time. Then Dr. Michael came by, checked everything out and then after the whole process, we met back in the office to look at my (booo hiss!) few cavities on another computer screen so that he could explain how the technology works, areas that are of no concern and areas that are of some concern. I was really impressed. Iwill need some fillings on a later appointment, but I was super impressed with the technology in this office versus the other dentists offices that I have been to in the past 10 years. read more

Living in Rehoboth Beach, DE, finding quality and affordable dental care was a challenge to say the least. After postponing some required work for years, I finally came across DePalma Dental and scheduled a first prelim visit. Dr. E was phenomenal!! She assessed my issues with a comprehensive and quick painless x-ray set then found all the sources of my pain. A week later I was in for a 2.5 hour marathon session that couldn't have gone any better. She actually went over and above what she planned to do with no additional up-charges!!!
