I had a lot of experience with orthodontists. I wore braces for 7+ years --my family moved frequently so I had 5 different orthodontists. While the open setting for treatment is not my preference, the clear focus on each patient was outstanding. Wait times were minimal; the staff superb; and the modern approach to realigning teeth was wonderful--no metal braces, wires or pain. All the equipment is state of the art, and the turtle ponds are fun. Dr. Crouse and his staff clearly explained the process, predicting a 6 month treatment followed by a retainer. That is exactly how it went! Amazing! After 1 visit Holly and Doris (front reception) knew my name--I didn't even need to sign in. This practice shares a common focus on excellence and creating a welcoming environment where patients of all ages can be at ease. If you need orthodontia--check them out.

It is a very very tiny office with the bathroom right next to you meaning patients need to walk past you while you are having your dental cleaning!!!! It is very very awkward be sure to check that all the staff have proper licenses. Hint... hint.... Had a filling done 2 times needed to finally get it done properly at another office.

Kyle, the youngest, after 2.5 years, and not getting my son's teeth straight, shaved them down (literally filed my son's teeth down). Until this incident, I didn't even know this was a possibility. How awful, I spent THOUSANDS of dollars to not have his teeth/bite fully corrected & to get them shaved down. My 2 son's had fabulous service but my 3rd son's teeth got shaved down because the orthodontist practice was now taken over by Mark Higgenbotto's kids. Before he shaved/filed his teeth I was not told 1)which teeth would be filed 2) how much would be filed from those teeth 3) if we filed them, when the braces would come off 4) if we didn't file them how much longer the braces would stay on After we paid thousands and signed a contract, no one ever told me that NOT straightening my child's teeth was an option or I would have found another orthodontist. My 4th child will never go to this office & I can no longer suggest anyone else go either. Stay away, from one mom to another find another orthodontist! These people should be ashamed of themselves! Now this is my opinion & I have nothing to back it up however what I think happened is that they know (have calculated) the approximate time of each teen in braces and if your child's teeth don't move quite enough in that time frame maybe it starts eating into their profit margin & they want to get you out of there.....Just a guess.
