Chicken scallopini with fresh spinach angel hair pasta, fresh spinach, artichoke hearts, and capers. So delicious!

My son and I went here for lunch today. It was off hours so there was only a few ppl there. The staff was amazing! We had calamari for our appetizer. It was so fresh, it almost melted in my mouth. I had the chicken scaloppini over fresh spinach pasta. The flavor was wonderful. This is worth the visit.

Five stars for service. We had a great server and everything came out correctly, quick and hot. Server was great about refills and asking if we needed anything. The food wasn't that great. It was okay / good. Pasta Depalma with chicken was lacking flavor, and chicken was oddly sliced very thin - almost shaved.

My husband and my mom went for lunch last week at DePalmas on Timothy Road in Athens Ga. When seated we were given a Lunch menu and a Dinner menu. The lunch menu had Pasta Depalma with a side salad with $14, that's what I ordered. My husband ordered the Pasta Depalma also but requested it be from the dinner menu at $18. You would reasonably think there is a difference in portion from lunch at $14 to dinner at $18. WRONG! When our order came out the pasta meals were the same portion size. Curious, we asked the server who said " yeah, I asked the cook and he said that lunch and dinner are the same" this is when we asked for the manager. We inquired how could the same portion come with a salad for $14 when you imply a dinner order for $18 without the salad- furthermore LET THE CUSTOMER ORDER IT THAT WAY AND CHARGE THEM MORE!! The manager began to ramble lie after lie that made no sense. He suggested they were trying to increase lunch business by offering a special at $14- however offered NOTHING to speak to why they were fine charging him $18 for less. He stated the server knows to say something, clearly not. Why even put them in that position?! DePalmas you have been a go to for me for years but now Im left with a shady feeling about how you do business. You can see the receipt attached where the meal was removed. He didn't eat it, it was sent back. Shame on you DePalmas. Maybe this is why Lunch traffic is so bad.

I have loved each one of my experiences at this restaurant. I randomly happened upon it during the summer and since then I have brought my friends and family to experience their food and drinks. I usually make a reservation in advanced because this is a popular spot. The dining area is low lit, with a lot of cool pictures on the walls and in the tables. The first time I went I ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the Seafood Charmaine. Both were excellent! I have also loved the friend ravioli. The staff is friendly and flexible. One time our appetizer arrived very late so our server took it off our ticket without us complaining/asking. My best friend and I both agree this is our favorite Italian spot in Georgia (we drive an hour and a half to taste it). I would give 20/10

Was here over the holidays looking for a good, local meal. With many of the restaurants closed just ahead of Christmas, we ended up trying out Depalmas almost on a whim - and boy am I glad we did. The food and service were both EXCELLENT. Our waiter was very attentive with great recommendations. We started out with the calamari, which actually was the least impressive portion of the meal to us. It was still good and I loved that they actually seasoned the breading rather than just relying on the sauce for flavor, but some of the pieces ended up having a bit too much seasoning and was a bit salty for me (and I like salt). Again, still good, just not as good as the items that followed. Following that, our waiter brought us some homemade bread which I think we both ended up drooling over. It was so fresh and delicious that I could have just eaten that and been happy. But there was still more to come! We got the tortellini with chicken sausage and shrimp Alfredo, both of which were AMAZING! I had the tortellini and it was also very fresh and flavorful. The chicken sausage and the sauce provided the perfect amount of flavor and spice - so much so that I'm getting hungry thinking of it. We also had shrimp Alfredo at the table which was also very good. We had an excellent experience here and I 100% plan to return and try out some recommendations we got from others who said it's one of their favorite restaurants. I loved that I got high level food and service at a very affordable price.

I've tried most everything here. The focaccia is always a go to. The Delma pasta is delicious and their pizzas are top tier!

Which is 5-7pm and they $15 bottled wines and $1 off raw oysters. We were promptly seated on the patio when we arrived, given water for us and our pup that had joined us. We started off with drinks and a dozen oysters, let me say these oysters were very good and they give you everything you need to eat with them. I wonder if the saltine crackers are homemade! Next we ordered 3 different tapas: the cauliflower, hummus and slider trio. All were super delicious! Overall my experience at The Pine Bar was spectacular and I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular in the future!

The food: I went with the Fried Chicken Blue Plate. Between the regular and the Nashville Hot, the Nashville was the winner--flavorful and moist without being overwhelming with the spice. Huge shoutout to my server for suggesting the brussel sprouts; that glaze is incredible and they were easily my favorite part of the plate. The mashed sweet potatoes were unique--I'm still debating if I liked them or loved them. The jalapeño cornbread was a bit sweet for my taste but on par with most restaurant cornbread. The mac & cheese wasn't bad, but also didn't do much for me like most restaurant mac & cheese. The cocktail: Do not sleep on Nana's Naissance. I wasn't sure what to expect from the ingredients, but it's like an elevated take on Rumchata. The service: I was seated at the bar and experienced a noticeable delay--a group that arrived well after me almost finished their meal before mine arrived. However, the waitress acknowledged the wait before I even had to mention it and made things right. I really appreciate that kind of proactive service. We're all human, and they handled the situation very professionally.
