Like several reviews below mine mention, this company appears to have ongoing issues fulfilling online orders. I placed an order several weeks ago and have yet to receive any shipping confirmation or response from customer service. I have attempted to contact the company through email, the chat feature on their website, and their social media accounts, but none of my messages have been answered. Because I have been unable to get any information regarding my order, I have had to file a dispute with my bank. If you advertise an online store, customers should reasonably expect communication and timely shipment of their orders. This place is horrible when it comes to shipping products, and their customer service when you dare ask about your package is so rude. I recently placed an order and when I asked when it would be mailed out they told me one of the items was out of stock and I had to wait till they got it to ship everything out together, why sell out of stock items? Why not be upfront and put sold out? I even offered to pay extra shipping so I could get the products they did have in stock and no reply at all. What's sad is this isn't the first time and I always reorder in hoping the next time it will be different but it just gets worse. I guess lesson learned for sure! And yes I was seen as a patient there! But wow! With the lies! DO NOT buy any products from their online website. I ordered 2 products on 10/21 and have yet to receive any confirmation that it's been shipped. This store is from Costa Mesa and I live in Los Angeles and I have yet to hear anything back let alone receive anything. I have emailed the customer service email listen on their website twice and have not heard back. Their management will try to claim that these reviews about their online store are fraud because we aren't clients. However, you are advertising for your ONLINE store. I have bought from other skincare websites (LAZ skincare, art of skincare, etc) without needing to be a client because I am JUST buying refills on the products that I use. Don't advertise to buy your products if you aren't going to ship them out and not respond when customers are asking where their package is at especially after spending hundreds of dollars! As a person who has suffered from adult acne through the majority of her 20's I feel like I've tried every treatment and medical professional out there. Derms would always give you the same song and dance - prescriptions and treatments - and then aesteticians would be able to provide more customized maintenance, but never leave you with enough information to maintain the results. After only a few minutes of sitting with Kat, the owner, it was evident she was really something special. She was more about listening to me than giving a speech about skincare. She wants to understand your products and your lifestyle and gives so much great knowledge without feeling preachy or pushy. I felt like she was invested in truly helping ME instead of another generic adult acne case. She gave me a customized Hydrafacial and it's been 3 days with no new breakouts. NONE. And that is so rare for me where I can't stop looking at my complexion to take note of my new glowy, more even skin. I am now FINALLY starting to feel more comfortable in my own skin, and I couldn't be more grateful. My only complaint is that I wish I would have found Kat years ago. I hate giving negative feedback, but this company lacks any type of basic customer service skills. I ordered over $200 worth of products. It took about a week to get a package from them and what I was sent was not what I ordered. It was one bottle of moisturizer. When I went to the website to ask where my package was, and why I had received this my only option for contact was email. There is no phone number I could find. I was a little hesitant to contact them because I wasn't sure if what I received was a free item because I have almost $1000 in items from this company the last few months, or if it was a mistake. I usually have great experiences with companies that sell high end products. Hours went by and I didn't get a response so I attempted another email. Immediately the email response from the company was aggressive, saying they didn't have an email from me, it was a shipping error and they "apologized for the inconvenience". They told me I would have to print the return label for the item shipped to me on accident, go to the post office and get the it in the mail before they would process my order that was placed a week prior. I explained it was an inconvenience due to my job schedule but I would do my best. They still refused to send my package out. I managed to get the package in the mail immediately, and then they informed me they wouldn't even ship it until the following Monday because the shipping was closed for the day. I almost canceled the order but again I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The email guaranteed I would get a confirmation of sent items on Monday and I would have my package on Tuesday. Come Tuesday night I still had no confirmation and no package. I emailed the company once again and I asked to be rerouted to management for the second time, and for the second time my request was ignored. Derma Beauty's response was, "here is your tracking information" and a screenshot of a USPS "in transit" location from a website, not a tracking link. Hours later still no response from management and still no package after a week and a half. I spend a lot of money on taking care of myself and spending the money to do so. I expect a company to give me the service I pay for and make good on their promises. I still have no confirmation that I am getting a package, still no package and still no contact from management. Internet orders beware. The lack of professionalism and standing behind their products make me question if the product is authentic or expired considering their lack of professionalism. read more
