I came because Dr.Kirk retired but while the office is modern and pretty I feel like a number. Front desk staff is difficult at best. They seem to push mohs surgery first over other first line treatments. Office is cold ALL the time. When having mohs for hours, no comfort is provided. I don't mind bringing my own blanket but just no compassionate personal attention for a long procedure. Too austere for me. Looking for better choice in all round skin care. Beauty injections and the like, seems to be their direction of business practice. read more

Front door to back, Dr Nayyar's office and staff are Great! They handled all the paperwork efficiently. Dr. Pria Nayyar is Excellent. Her training includes a dermatology fellowship at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Health System. I had MOHS surgery and she kept me informed and checked on my status throughout the process. Total time estimate was 2-4 hours; my case took 2:15 total with 2 rounds of removal to complete. I am new to Florida, and I have melanoma so finding a reliable dermatologist is very important to me. I did some research after learning more about this practice and decided to give it a try. I called to make an appointment for the St. Pete location and the initial lady I spoke to wasn't very friendly. It seemed like more of a hassle to get me set up in their system since I was new. So, there's that. I showed up to my appointment when it was scheduled, and the front desk ladies were nice. I went and sat down but couldn't help but overhear a quiet whisper between the two ladies, almost as if gossip was happening. Wasn't a fan of that. I was seen pretty quickly after checking in. The initial specialist I spoke with prior to the doctor, was professional and nice. Then the doctor came in and started to examine me. I felt as if the doctor was in a hurry. She asked me if I had any concerns which I didn't at the time. The exam was quick and felt very careless compared to what I am used to, considering I have melanoma which should be taken seriously in my opinion. So even though I may not notice anything concerning, isn't it the doctor's job to make you feel like they care and did a thorough examination? I had also been breaking out pretty bad that day due to anxiety. Without even asking me questions about my history with acne, the doctor pointed it out and asked if I wanted any medicine to help cure the acne on my face. Almost as if I was being called out for it. I was prescribed an ointment that she said would be an upwards of $60 or so. I had it called in to my pharmacist who then told me the total was going to be $96. It was a joke honestly and I just chose to stick with my initial face cleaning products because I don't have money like that. I felt like this visit was really all I needed to know it isn't for me. I did not feel appreciated at all, but rather just another business transaction for the company. Will be looking for another dermatologist who actually cares about their patients. read more

Just received a FUE hair transplant with Dr.Nayyar and her amazing team. I am amazed at how smoothly the process went. The procedure started promptly at 8:30am. I was warned that the injections would be very painful, however Dr.Nayyar utilizes this vibrating tool that made the injections near painless. The room is comfortable, you can play your own music, and overall the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable (blankets, pillows, etc) Dr. Nayyar and her experienced techs thoughtfully planned out which areas needed to be filled in, focusing on density and achieving the best aesthetic result. 1500 grafts were taken by 10:30am, a short break for food, and then Dr. Nayyar herself does all the incisions before the grafts are placed. The procedure was finished by 2:30pm. Thorough instructions were given for post op care and maintenance. They also have a great kit that makes it easy to keep up with the post op stuff. I had a mild headache for a few hours after the procedure that was remedied by just one Tylenol! Unbelievable, I know. I'm 2 days out, have had zero pain, and barely any swelling. I am so grateful to Dr.Nayyar and her team for making the process as pain free and as easy as possible. Highly recommend for hair transplant! read more

I hear that that Dr Nayyar is wonderful. she took over my doctor's practice. The front office staff was disdainful on the phone, then in the heavily perfumed waiting room. I had an asthma attack and had to go outside and use my inhaler. after an hour, a PA walked in. my primary doctor suggested a dermatologist. she was dismissive, called it acne, which it isn't, and I will never go back. the website shows how heavily this office leans to the beauty $ side of the business . on the way to my car, a man commented on the heavy scent. read more

Poor front office experience. They insist on taking your personal credit card information so they can bill your card fifty dollars if you miss an appointment without adequate notice. They already had all my medical insurance information. They would not let me see the Doctor without turning over my personal credit card even though I had been seen there previously. I don't mind being billed if I miss an appointment but I try to avoid handing out my credit card information due to concerns about fraud and abuse. read more

Dr. Nayyar was recommended to me by my primary physician for a growth on my chest, which turned out to be a squamous cell carcinoma. As I had never had one before, I was anxious and concerned. After spending 5 years at another dermatology clinic, the best thing I ever did was make the move to Dermaclinique. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor treat you like a person, not a number. When you have an appointment, they never overbook leaving you in a room of 30 frustrated possible virus patents, like my last clinic. Dr. Nayyar immediately came up with a way to deal with my rosacea successfully. My last doctor just gave me some crème and said there is nothing else possible.
